O hotel está muito bem localizado.... Utilizei o cofre, o serviço de concierge e sempre fui bem atendida pelos funcionários. Na reserva do meu quarto adquiri café da manhã para 2 pessoas porém, o café é a-la-carte e portanto, mais demorado do que um self-service. Sugestão: não comprar café da manhã do hotel e ir comer na padaria Au Bon Pain no caminho do hotel para a estação de trem (comunicação interna por dentro dos prédios). É mais barato e tem uma maior variedade de produtos.

"Inn of Chicago - ótimo custo benefício"
O Hotel tem uma localização OTIMA! O atendimento achei otimo, limpeza também. O que eu achava que seria o maior problema era a pia do banheiro, que não tinha bancada, e ficaria um pouco desconfortavel, como mostram as fotos, e quando cheguei lá o banheiro tinha sido reformado e agora tem bancada e ainda mais... 2 pias! Outra coisa que me deixou um pouco […] desconfortavel quando reservei o hotel foi os comentarios sobre os elevadores... eu não tive preblema algum com os elevadores. Todos funcionavam perfeitamente bem, não eram lentos e nem antigos. A cama é bem confortavel, o quarto grande. Os únicos problemas do hotel (que eu nem considero um problema) é que o armário é aberto e muito pequeno, não tem cofre e nem frigobar. Uma coisa que achei muito legal nesse hotel é que no lobby tem uma tv com touchscreen que você procura restaurantes, lojas, eventos, tudo muito facil e simples de mexer. Pega endereço do lugar, já reserva, tudo por ali. Mais uma coisa muito boa é a internet free no lobby do hotel. Resumindo... vale muito a pena! Leia mais

Inn of Chicago. Muito bem localizado, ao lado da N Michigan, perto de todas as lojas mais legais da cidade. Porém a cama do quarto, de molas, não me fez ter noites muito confortáveis.

"Live it Up In Chicago"
A very comfortable well organised hotel. Only downside was the $10 in room for 24 hour charge for wifi. Having to go to the lobby for free internet access was a real drag. Other than that it was fine.

"In dire need of maintenance"
The walls were dirty and stained; they looked like they hadn't been painted in years.The whole place looked like it was in need of some serious maintenance. Bathroom was tiny. Lobby was humble. We asked for a quiet room and were put in one that must have been next door to a dance club - thumping bass until 2am on both Friday and Saturday night, and […] rowdy club goers shouting at each other. This hotel was great and the room service menu is from an actual restraunt half a block away. I didn't look around or stay in the area of the hotel for sightseeing and other things, but it's location was great. The hotel had very small elevators and when it's busy it made me wait awhile. The walks were very thin and I could here people if they were […] talking loudly. I stayed there on New Years eve night and left the next day. However I called to have a late check out and in the hotel info book in the room it said check out is extended to 4pm, but New Years day it was only till 1pm. "The Inn Of Chicago"
Likes- Price was very reasonable and It was about a block away from Michigan avenue. Staff was very nice. Rooms were quiet. Checkout was at 1 P.M. Restaurants were close by. Cocktail Lounge was nice. Valet parking was wonderful, you just pulled your car right outside the hotel and they got your luggage took it to your room and parked your car for you. Dislikes- […] It took almost 30 minutes to check in because there was only one person working the front desk. There were only 3 elevators which were extremely small. I booked a king size bed and was given a room with only a double and they were not able to put me in a room with a queen. Rooms were fairly small, which did not really matter to us because we just needed the room to sleep and shower in. Overall for the minor perks and the price I would would recommend it and I would stay there again. Leia mais

We stayed at the Inn of Chicago for 4 days and overall were not that happy with our stay. We got a "modern" queen bedroom that was extremely small and had a horrible view of a wall. The carpet was dirty, the coffee maker was filthy, the bathroom was tiny and tired, and the pillows and bed were extremely uncomfortable. Also, the walls are paper thin!! […] We could hear everything the people next to us were saying, and they weren't even that loud. Not to mention there is a hospital nearby so all night long there was a constant piercing sound of ambulances speeding past. There was free wifi in the lobby but nothing in the rooms and the staff were courteous but nothing above or beyond. Overall, this is a good place to stay if you are on a budget and wish to be within walking distance of michigan ave, navy pier, the MCA and lots and lots of stores. However, leave your expectations at the door and remember it is an Inn not a Hotel. Leia mais

I would definitely recommend this hotel to a friend. It was nice and comfortable as well as affordable. The only thing that was a little uncomfortable was the bathroom size but it was worth adjusting to it with the location and the staff.

This hotel had the essentials (bed, shower, TV). That was about it. We were staying there simply for a place to sleep. The rooms are very small and the bathrooms are equivalent to a closet. The location was great. If you're looking for a place with nice room amenities, I'd stay away, but just for a place to crash it's fine.
We hope you had a wonderful New Year's Eve in Chicago! Since we are known as a historic boutique hotel in the city, our guest rooms are not as large like more traditional hotels. "We love this place"
If you're looking for nice, stylish accomodations in the heart of Chicago, the Inn of Chicago is it. We've stayed at the hotel now several times and if it is available, always pick it first. The rooms are nice for the price and one block from Michigan Avenue just can't be beat.

Located perfectly right off of Michigan Ave and 3 blocks from the river. Plenty of restaurants, nightlife and shopping within a few blocks. The redline or "L" is just 4 blocks away...
"1 night get away"
we stayed here to do some shopping on mich. ave. and visit some friends in the city. overall, the room was much smaller than i expected; however, the service was great, as was the location. if you're not planning on spending alot of time in your room, then this a good place to stay.
"Inn of Chicago - very comfy and great location"
We booked this hotel for a weekend holiday shopping trip. Was simple, but clean. Very short walk to Michigan ave and very close to the GAP and other stores & restaurants. Exercise facility could have been nicer. It was very small as well. Room was clean and beds comfortable. Rooftop terrace was great...would love to sit out there in the summer!

"Convenient and Good Value"
Hotel is less than a block from Michigan Avenue. The rooms were of good size, the beds were VERY comfortable. We were allowed to check in early. Take advantage of the Valet parking. It is only $5 more than parking on your own, yet you can stay in the valet lot until 2pm on your check out day. We stayed here with our five kids (two rooms) and the kids […] liked it as well. Took my family here this weekend. The staff was VERY friendly and helpful, everything was clean, and we were close to shopping, restaurants, everything. Only issue we had was parking- the garage was full (it's Christmas shopping season), so we had to park and walk a few blocks with baggage and kids through the biting cold. Great hotel, clean, great location, but no hot water when we woke up on Saturday!

Generally best rates for the area. Great location for touring Chicago. However, paper thin walls at least on the 3rd floor, so if you're business traveling and staying over a weekend you may be contending with 2am tourists that foolishly think Michigan Ave is a good place to party.

The location of this hotel is perfect for a quick 1-2 night stay. The rooms are clean but only made for sleeping. Three small elevators and during my check-in there was quite a wait at the front counter and then the elevators. Overall it is a great value for such a premium location.

I came up to do some holiday shopping with girlfriends and we had a great stay! We had a corner room with nice view of the city. Comfortable beds-sheets were a little rough/starchy but we all slept well! "Perfect Location!!!!!"
We were very satisfied with this hotel! Booked it one day in advance so we werent really sure how it would be....but we couldnt have been any happier. The staff was extremely nice! And we were close to everything! I would definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel to anyone. Very pleased!
"The Inn of Chicago - Used Soap"
The size of the room was not an issue. The half-drank bottle of Coke on the night stand, empty store bags in the closet, open (USED) bars of soap on the bathroom sink and in the shower along with a half bottle of shampoo - THEM WERE THE ISSUES. Not sure if they just hired a new maid or what, but it grossed me out.

This hotel is fantastic. It's practically on the Miracle Mile, by the Hancock Tower and near millenium park. The only thing that I would caution people about is the hot water situation. Good location, cheapest hotel near Magnificent Mile. Room, bathroom on the small side and also had problem with lack of hot water to the sink faucet which was not resolved. Overall ok , nothing memorable.

based on the reviews I read, I was worried about staying at this hotel. However, I got there and was greeted warmly at the front reception. My room was a spacious corner room that was way more space than I needed. It was very clean and well decorated. I was more than pleased with the service.
