"Super 8 Lenexa Overland Pk"
Room was comfortable. The coffee pot carafe was missing though. Would stay again.
"room not clean"
People were great,abut the floor in the room had toe nail clippings on it. The heat/air unit filter was caked with dirt and the venting loovers were worn so they wouldn't hold a direction and the shower floor looked like it had been scrapped and was pealing. Beds were comfortable and room temp was OK.
"Has what you need with few extra's"
Rate's were good for the quality of the hotel. Slim breakfast, but related to the rates of the hotel - get up early. Full size beds - ok, better if they were queens, they have the space in the room. For the reason we were in KC (tailgating a game), it met our needs completely.

This is the second time we have stayed at this particular super 8 and I was not impressed. OUr room had a leak right outside the bathroom that was soaking the carpet (couldn't see the leak). The manager on duty was not in any hurry to get us another room or come assess the situation. Their continental breakfast room is very small and it is limited […] in the foods available. They now have no fruit or yogurt available. It is literally all bread items. The beds are not that comfortable. Very firm matresses. The only good thing is the locations. "Great stay"
We stayed two nights while at a conference in Kansas City. Motel was clean, breakfast adequate, quiet stay, very enjoyable. Staff was helpful and shared special discounts for food, etc. Would definitely stay there again.
"Dirty"
Not really a review writer, but I thought I would save some the grief of finding out themselves. Super dirty. The only thing that appeared clean in our room were the top sheets. Even the placard that sat on my pillow to tell me it was clean had a orange sticky substance on it. "Clean, but girl at front not friendly."
When we checked in the girl at the front desk never quit stuffing her face with Doritos and promptly demanded 'Gim me yo drivers license'. Not may please see your drivers license or anything that would resemble friendly service. All and all it is a good place for the money. "This Super 8 is Perfect for Overnight Stop"
Lenexa has a whole cluster of motels at the same exit. The neighborhood is a bit industrial, but quiet and very calm and safe. I walked around the Super 8 in the morning for some exercise and the area was quite pleasant. The motel room was comfortable, the A/C was easy to control and not too loud (not always the case). The location of the Super 8 and the shopping/dining opportunities was excellent. This was the most disppointing experience I have encountered at any Super 8. Dark narrow hallways and some of the rooms were darker than others. Our family had booked five rooms on this trip and each room had different degrees of lighting in the room. "Good hotel; good price"
Not a fancy hotel but good price, good location for the various locations we needed to go. If you're looking for an upscale hotel this is not it, but if you need a place to stay to go out and about this is ok. The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean - they would've used some maintenance but nothing that impacted the stay.

A cheap clean room, centrally located for our needs at the time. No frills. We got what we paid for.
"Clean and better than expected"
For the price, it was great. Stayed in 2 rooms and both were very clean and comfortable. Location was good, breakfast was above average, and check in/out was easy. If you are wanting luxury, this isn't it. However, if you want a good clean place to stay for a low price, this is a great place.
This is a cheaper hotel and was well worth the price. The bed was comfortable and there was a great arm chair. Overall, a great deal!

30 a night is cheap. Got more than we paid for, good hotel for the money. A tad dirty, the shower had soap scum on it but it was 30 a night. Staff was very nice.

"Good"
I booked for 4 Adults. They only had towels for 2. Tried to get towels from cleaning people that did not speak a work of english. No luck. Finally went to front desk to get extra towels and that was no a problem. I asked them to be sure to have 4 towels and wash clothes for the next day, they said no problem. We left and came back after room was cleaned […] and found only 3 towels. We finally caught the cleaning lady again and grabbed another towel. The whole time she was yelling " You No Take Towel, You No Take Towel. Arrrg! Other than this everything was very good. The room was clean, Thank goodness. Leia mais

Not fabulous, but reasonable for the rate. Asked for adjoining rooms with interior access between the two rooms I booked, but unavailable upon checkout. Otherwise, fine.
"No frills but comfortable"
I stayed here while in KC for a family gathering. I only needed a place to sleep. The room was clean, the bed and pillows were comfortable and the heat/air worked fine. It was quiet and check-in/out was smooth. Breakfast was limited. Towels were scratchy. But it was the right place and price for what I needed. I would stay again.

Clean hotel, great staff, great location for shopping and food. I have stayed at this location many times and have always had a great stay. It's a good value if you're needing a place to sleep while you're in the area.

"Room was decent, but ..."
When I got to the motel @ around 7pm, they did not have my reservation in file; so they had me wait in the lobby while they sort it out. After they've all sort it out and had me checked in; they told me to not use the water when I get to the room because their water pipe bursted and they were fixing it still. We didn't get water-use until about 10:30pm. The […] room was decent. We got a kitchenette. Although we didn't use it, it was nice. The bathroom was clean with tub. Bed was huge but the pillows were way too soft and almost lumpy. The motel was an extended stay type of place; so there were tons of people walking around and children playing around the halls. One employee of the hotel went out of her way to tell us about all sights, parks, shopping, restaurants, etc. there is to do in the area. We were elated with her and would be more than happy to stay at this average hotel agai...with such great servic, making it seem like we were staying at the Ritz! If you are looking for a 4 or 5 star hotel experience, you better pass on the Super 8. If you want a room for a good price with a good location, you can't go wrong with this hotel.

This hotel was great for the value and the staff friendly and helpful. Location was important for us and it provided easy access to the surrounding highways which was key. It was also located close to great shopping and eating as well. My family and I were on the way back from WI and reserved our room online while on the way. When we got there the reservation was there and we were in the room within minutes. The staff was curtious. The hotel location was right off of I-35, easy access. Very close to Sam's, two huge malls and several smaller shopping centers.. The room was clean and maintained...everything worked... Now the downside: We were assigned a room on the third floor, no elevator...We did not know when we booked the room that the hotel was also booked by three teenage […] baseball teams. IT WAS NOISY. DOORS SLAMMING, GUYS RUNNING UP AND DOWN THE HALLS AND STEPS... HOLLERING AT EACH OTHER...Finally got quiet around 11PM... If and when I use a booking service, I am going to attempt to find out who else is staying at the facility...I was in KC for business, not pleasure.
