La Quinta Inn Sunrise/Sawgrass Mills - Sunrise 26.1237, -80.33247

Hotel was good for overnite stay. Everything worked in room with the exception of a bad picture television. Breakfast was good with waffle maker, sweet rolls and hot boiled eggs. Hotel was good location for shopping at Sawgrass Mall, dining and is right off the interstate to the Ft Lauderdale airport.

Close to Sunrise Blvd. and Sawgrass Mall. Great Price and easy to get to everywhere in Sunrise. 2 Hotels with same name across the street from each other. which is a little confusing. The King bed with sleeper sofa room was comfortable for 3 people. A fridge in the room was a nice addition. Breakfast was simple but free, no complaints. I would stay there again. Stayed at hotel to see the Panthers play the Penguins in January. It was 35 degrees at night that weekend....go figure? I guess we brought a little piece of winter with us?

We tried to check in 30 minutes early and weren't getting a lot of answers from the staff/maids about whether or not a room was ready. Room was nice and larger sized. We did have some flying ants in our room on the last night, not sure why. Outside doors didn't appear to be locked at all times... Didn't use the amenities or breakfast... Right by a gas station and an "Outlet Mall" that really only has an IKEA.

Excellent hotel, great value for money. However there is no complimentary computer for guest to use.

We are long time La Quinta guests and always look for this hotel in our travels.

Room was nice and clean. Breakfast lacked a little to be desired.

The room was nice and close to the mall and IKEA. There were a couple problems. The fan in the bathroom rattled very loudly. Also breakfast was so crowded so there was no seating.

It was ferfect for our "business trip"..close by where we need to be. Sawgrass mall was a plus for our trip. The hotel staff was very nice.. The toilet commomde need to be rebolted to the floor on room 322..it rocks and move!Couple mornings the fire went off due to the smoke coming from the "waffle" maker..overall our stay was pleasnt.

Only problem was we had a non-smoking room but someone on our hallway was smoking. We could not smell it in our room but the hallway was terrible.

Location, facilities of the hotel were just fine for my purpose of being close to Sawgrass Hills mall. Good a variable breakfast. The only thing is that the breakfast area is very small and it was crowded every day. Had to take my food in the lobby couches.

The hotel is not what I expected! It wasn't the cleanest, and the door had to be forced open every time the key was inserted to unlock it. The hotel staff said "oh, you just have to push harder to open it." Then the smoke detector went off at 3 am and never stopped beeping. The response we got from hotel staff on that was "I guess the battery died, that happens" nobody offered to fix the problem. NO SLEEP,TERRIBLE STAY!!!!!!!!

When we checked in we were given keys to a room that another guest was already checked in to. We walked in the room and found someone else's luggage and personal items. Thank goodness they weren't in the room. We quickly left! The second room had only one bed-we were a party of 4 and requested two double beds. There were no sheets on the bed. The security lock on the door was busted off and the door could be easily opened by my 2 year old. My 7 year old took a shower and came out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around her that had cigarette burns all over it. The third room smelled like a sweaty gym locker, but by this time we had driven over 10 hours and were beat. We decided it would do, but if we weren't so tired with two young children we would have found a different hotel to stay at.

We love this place so much,very nice and clean,my fiance was very happy,will do it again

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel, the staff was friendly and always willing to assist with any problems. The problem I had was the type of room I booked was not available when I arrived. The hotel is located in a nice location, I would stay there again..

Somewhat difficlut to get to for a 1st time traveler at night. (Google Maps gave confusing directions.) Clean hotel with friendly staff. Very well worth the price.

I must say that I had a problem finding the hotel due to the unfamiliar area. I called and the hostess was very patient with me. I got into my room quickly and was pleased. I actually liked the desk in my room. Anyhow, I will return and recommend the hotel.

NICE ROOM SMALL WILL STAY THERE AGAIN GOOD room for the money"

It was a nice hotel the rooms were clean and comfortable. The rates were reasonable and the location was near Sawgrass Mall which may my wife happy

The hotel was in good condition. The continential breakfast was aiight. All staff was nice, they even let us check out a couple hours late.

It's wasn't a bad hotel, good for the money. The decor was old and out dated. It definitely needs and upgrade. The only big complaint I have is the breakfast room. They had to leave the window open to let the steam from the waffle maker escape, but it was SO HOT outside that the air conditioning wasn't compensating for it. Basically, I did nothing but sweat all through breakfast. It put me in a very bad mood in the morning.

The service was great, breakfast was good, the room was plenty big enough for a short stay. The room could have been cleaned a little better before we checked in, but nothing major. Overall it was a nice stay for the one night we needed a room.

This hotel was mediocre in quality, but extremely clean and the staff was very customer service driven. It had all of the basics, but nothing extra. I would have expected a little more for the price. I've stayed at better hotels for about $20 less. Maybe the price was higfher because of the area. The elevator is a little dated and took forever, when there were only four floors. It seenmed to be very old. Other than that, we were please with our stay.

La Quinta is what you would expect for an average priced hotel. The room was quite comfortable, but there was a splash of paint on the carpet that stood out and the chrome fixtures in the tub were very scratched. Also, the continental breakfast left alot to be desired. Otherwise, it was a pleasant experience with a helpful and friendly staff. The hotel was very conveniently located to everything my wife and I visited the area for. I would recommend the hotel to friends if they were on a limited budget.

Small, no frills hotel. Nothing around for entertainment. The location of this hotel is more for business people working close the the office park.

It was new, quiet and close the the performing arts theatre and Sawgrass Mill Super Mall. There were resturants everywhere. Staff was nice, friendly and talkative. The only little complaint was there was no tootpaste, shampoo or conditioner in the room. You have to go downstairs and ask for it. Just a hassle, is all. We didn't make it to the continetal breakfast so can't comment on that.

This was just a one night stay to get way for a night. The hotel was easy to get to, clean, QUIET and they accomadated my dog by giving us a room near the bottom floor and close to the elevator but far enough away that I did not hear it (elevator) all night long. The midnight front desk personel was great. It was so easy and hassle free that I would definetly stay here again. Lots of green area to walk my dog. The room temp was turned down so it was not baking hot when I arrived but to make it really comfortable I had to turn it down to 65 degrees (I guess the blazing florida sun takes it toll on the a/c) I didn't check out the breakfast but for the money anything that they would provide would be generous.

The booking online was quick and easy. The front desk was nice and friendly and waiting for me when I showed up at 2:00 AM. They picked out a room that was accessable for my dog (lower floor, closer to the elevator) The room was comfortable and clean and right off I 595 so it was easy to get to. Check out time was 12:00 noon (extra hour) and I think check in time is the same so it allows more time to get settled into room. Checkout also took 2 seconds (very easy) There was plenty of green area to walk the dog and they were sincere about accomidating pets as well as people. I would definitely stay here again.

A little off the beaten path but perfect for our needs. We were traveling to Key West and needed a stop over. It was off the main road yet easy to get back on the highway.

Close to Sawgrass Mills Mall :-)
