Hotel muito agradavel. Para aqueles que estiverem de carro, SF fica a pouco mais de 15 minutos, no horario do rush. Apenas o cafe da manha achamos fraco. Excelente para ferias.

Hotel extremamente justo, com EXCELENTE localização. Únicas observações são com relação ao tamanho do banheiro que achei pequeno e ao custo do estacionamento (US$50,00/dia). Hotel super recomendado.

De 20 dias de viagem em 6 estados americanos esse foi o melhor hotel que ficamos. Decoração de muito bom gosto, limpeza impecável, café da manhã perfeito em um lindo terraço e muita educação dos atendentes.

Boa Localizacao, mas sofre com os arredores de são Francisco, muitos mendigos, casas de massagem, embora a apenas 3 quarteirões da union square. Os quartos são reformados, bastante confortáveis, ótimo banheiro, acesso a internet gratuito. Estacionamento muito caro, 30 dolares + taxas por dia, nos fez devolver o carro antes. O hotel atendeu plenamente as minhas expectativas pois além do preço da diária ser razoável, o mesmo encontra-se muito bem localizado, próximo a shoppings e com facilidade de acesso ao transporte público. Face a todos os pontos positivos que o hotel oferece, no meu entender há dois pontos que merecem melhoria: - como as paredes são muito finas, é possível […] ouvir o hospede do apartamento vizinho abrindo o chuveiro, dando descarga e até mesmo conversando. O hotel eh bem localizado. Fica bem perto da Union Square e nao tem tanto problemas com os mendigos como os hoteis que ficam na regiao um pouco abaixo. O estacionamento eh caro e tbm nao tem cafe da manha. Os quartos sao bons e limpos. Ocorreu uma situacao muito constragedora pois o recepcionista do hotel entrou em nosso quarto praticamente sem bater. […] Fiquei muito nervosa com a situacao, pois isso nunca tinha acontecido comigo em nenhuma viagem. Fiz a reclamacao na recepcao, mas ainda nao obtive retorno. De qqer forma, recomendo o hotel. "Good location."
Good location just a few blocks from Union Square, hidden away a little with no fanfare but it's a solid Hotel which if you can get it for a reasonable price is recommended. You can tell it's going to need a refresh in a few years but for now it's a solid option for a few days in S.F.

I've stayed here a couple times. The location is decent, but sort of on the edge of the tenderloin, so the neighborhood gets sketchy within a few blocks. The hotel itself is decent, but nothing to write home about. It's definitely older feeling. Walking distance to Union Square, the Cable Car, Bart and multiple MUNI stops! 1. Women, try not to stay here by yourself as the surrounding neighborhood to the West and South is questionable during the evening. 2. Pro: Hotel is located very close to union square and bart/muni station. Yummy breakfast and lunch place next door. Con: Service was just ok. Front desk staff not very willing or helpful. Location is on the border of a rough neighborhood.

That said, and having stayed in a number of other hotels in the area, I would likely spend a little more and stay elsewhere. i booked this room 2 weeks before New Years Eve. THe photos made this hotel look very nice and well presented. However when we arrived the hotel was not a bright and clean as the pictures showed. Our room was nice enough but the lights in the bathroom keep turning off and on, the walls were a bit thin and we could hear the other guests partying and […] showering and such. The staff was friendly and worked hard. It was basically an old building in a good location. Everything was perfectly adequate, it just wasn't shiny and new. It was a good value.

Walking distance to theaters, shopping, bars, bart, restaurants.... Hotel room was small, but sufficient, clean and comfortable. Hotel staff were very friendly and very helpful! They didn't just give us directions to places, they printed out maps, suggested restaurants and printed out reviews for each one. We will definetly go back!

"Good hotel, sketchy neighborhood"
The hotel staff was very accommodating and knowledgeable. The hotel is older, but the beds are comfortable, and the bathrooms, while small, have everything you need. I did feel creeped out a couple of times walking through the neighborhood at night, though.

"Recomendable"
It is only 5 mins from Powel street but if you ask for a room facing the inner yard, you can forget you are in the center of the city. The staff was kind and informative. The hotel amenity was sufficient. The quality of the hotel is very good for the price if only the carpet look more cleaner.

I walked into this hotel and was disgusted. I literally walked into the room and left. HORRIBLE! This hotel was dirty beyond cleaning. Luckily, there was vacancy across the street.

Located on the border of the financial/shopping area and Tenderloin with 2 homeless shelters within a block of the hotel. Kind of sketchy to be walking at night. Clean rooms, great service juxtaposed with tiny elevator and having to listen for toilet flush to avoid being scalded in the shower. Would consider but would probably not be a first choice […] . When we arrived it was extremely clean. I stayed in two different rooms because I had a reservation under my friends name and my name. The room under my friends name had a bad shower head but the upgrade we had was nicer. SHower head was nice but the walls are thin. For being a dated hotel it was comfortable. Rooms are small as well as closet and bathroom but you can't expect anything bigger in a hotel of it's age. It was clean. Service was great. No Air Conditioner BUT TRUST ME YOU DON'T NEED ONE. I was worried at first but had to grab for blankets when the sun went down. Didn't wake up sticky or hot. Didn't […] even notice I didn't have one. "Small older rooms, but good location"
This is an older building, but the rooms are clean, relatively quiet, and comfortable. The cost of valet parking is a deal in SF; and the location is close enough to walk to most local attractions. One drawback is that the rooms are kinda small, but would stay here again.......
