good hotel in a great location. easy to get to from the airport. very clean, extremely knowledgable staff about area restaurants and attractions. got double charged for my hotel bill, so check carefully your final bill. also, in seattle it is extremely expensive for all the "little things" that add up. for instance to use the computer in the business room is the most costly I have ever encountered. it was over $20 for a simple usage of the internet. the pool was OK,not real clean and the windows needed washing. the hot tub was a warm tub. be careful on the pool floor it is very slippery and dangerous. didn't try the restaurant in the hotel since it was closed most of the time and besides with all the great seafood places nearby, why bother with standard business hotel food. overall good hotel with great staff (probably the best of any hotel that i have seen).

de value="5""Nice hotel at top of the hill!"
Avaliado por um hóspede do hotels.com em Jun 12, 2009
A very clean, functional hotel. Undergoing renovation in June 2009 but effect on guests very little. Restaurant was closed but upstairs bar had fab views, especially at sunset and very good quality food. Decor was comfortable but not fussy. Bed was very comfy and no noise could be heard from other rooms. Bathroom door is just a slider so be aware if you are not sharing room with a nearest and dearest! Unfortunately the hotel was way up at the top of the hills but a taxi from the waterside was only $7 max.

de value="5""Convention Center Meeting"
Avaliado por um hóspede do hotels.com em Mai 24, 2009
Stayed at the Hotel for the INTA conference based at the convention center. The conference involved going to and from all day long so, the walk was far and I typically took a cab for $7 each way. The Hotel itself is fine and same as all others in the same price range. Eric the concierge is very helpful. In fact I doubled up by going to conference and getting engaged at Snoqualmie falls - - Eric set the room up with ross and champagne to make the surprise even better. So, if going for convention center, stay somewhere else - - otherwise, stay at the Renaissance and Eric will hook it up very nice!

de value="5""very nice hotel on a steep hill"
Avaliado por um hóspede do hotels.com em Abr 27, 2009
What you'd expect from a higher end Marriott property. Great service, well appointed room, etc... We enjoyed the bar at the top of the hotel with good bargains on lite dinners. Only negative is that it is a few steep blocks away from Seattle attractions like Pioneer Square, Downtown and Pike Place Market. Otherwise, a very nice hotel.

Hotel is fine. Location isn't too central, but still walkable. Hotel staff was excellent and so were the staff from Hotels.com. IN general, prices for hotels in Seattle I find to be pricey, this is a good value.

de value="5""Junior Suite overpriced"
Avaliado por Carlo de LV em Set 23, 2008
My wife and I stayed in a Junior Suite. This was a considerable premium over a standard room. It seems the suite was put where there was leftover room without regard for the layout. The result is the living room being small and uncomfortable. We spent all out time in the bedroom because of this. Very disappointing.

de value="5""Reasonable price, but in midst of refurbish"
Avaliado por DW de Nashville, TN em Set 20, 2007
Compared to other hotels in the downtown Seattle area, this Renaissance was affordably priced. Our room was comfortable, and the walk to major attractions was reasonable. The proximity of other hotels (i.e. further down the hill toward the water) was better, but they were significantly more expensive. This hotel was in the middle of a project on the exterior with scaffolding set up around the entry, which I didn't care for.

A very nice hotel right in downtown Seattle, close to everything, with a wonderful Italian restaurant on the top floor. Great views of the Space Needle and of the water! We had a wonderful corner room -- with the only downside that it was on the corner closest to I-5, which meant LOTS of noise at all times. The AirCon noise covered it up a bit...but we did lose some sleep! Choose a room on the other side!

de value="5""Great location; mediocre rooms"
Avaliado por Bill de Bend, OR em Ago 10, 2007
The Renaissance is in a great location downtown. On top of the hill it is walkable to everything. It also easily accesses local streets and I-5 if you want to go uptown or over the lake. I also liked the fact that they comped me two days of parking, which is $23/day. The down side: the hotel doesn't have much style. Typical high-rise chain hotel. It looks and feels dated. No pizazz. There is no late night (post-10:00 p.m.) food service other than room service. In the immediate vicinity of the hotel there are few restaurant choices. But if you want to walk three to four blocks you can probably find something. Even though the hotel is on the edge of the central downtown area it still feels pretty safe, even at night. My room, with one king-size bed was pretty small and there was no closet, just an old, beat up armoire for hanging clothes. I don't think the hotel would be my first choice the next time I visit. But I would stay there again if the price was right and I wanted to hang around downtown.

Avaliado por Scott de Texas em Jun 7, 2007
We stayed at this hotel for two nights. When we returned to the hotel from sight-seeing at 4pm on our second day, one of our two rooms had not yet been cleaned. On two separate occasions (and from two different concierges) we got answers to our tourist-type questions which later turned out to be inaccurate.
