O Hotel é simples, porém muito bem localizado. A uma quadra do Hotel, em caminhada bem tranquila, tem-se bom supermercado, um Mac Donald's, um pequeno centro de compras com loja da Ross - a rua fica entre as Hollywood Blvd e a Sunset que se estendem para importantes pontos turísticos. Acabei de me hospedar neste Hotel. O apto é modesto, o banheiro pequeno e simples; no entanto sempre que chegávamos, estava bem arrumado, cheiroso, com boas toalhas e sempre repondo-se os sabonetes e shampoos. A recepção é super simples, onde é servido o café da manhã - tem-se bons donut's doces, croissant, café americano e suco de laranja. Tem-se Wi-fi com bom acesso rápido à internet e na recepção um computador com uso livre para o hóspede por 15 min. Impressão é cobrado US$ 0.50 por folha. Eu e minha família curtimos bastante a estadia no mesmo. Voltaríamos sim.

O fato de ter o metro ao lado do hotel, onde pode-se ir a vários pontos da Hollywood Boulevard, inclusive a Universal Studios, já tem minha preferência, o preço é outro ponto a favor. Hotel para se hospedar apenas para dormir, excelente custo-benefício . Li um relato que uma hospede pagou para receber encomendas no hotel, mas isso não aconteceu comigo. Recebi encomendas e não me cobraram nada. Recomendo

Excelentes acomodações, quarto limpo e espaçoso, ótimo café da manhã. Hotel muito bonito, ambiente agradável. O translado aeroporto - hotel ocorre durante as 24 horas, de 30 em 30 min, basta esperar do lado de fora do aeroporto, onde passam as vans.

"Stylish, dark, small rooms, nice views"
More attitude than altitude, the Mondrian is convenient, hip, and, if you can get a deal, fairly priced. Breakfast outside is nice, with great views, but the usually overpriced hotel tab.

"Mondrian - Sunset Blvd"
Great hotel but very unfriendly to hotels.com guests. It first took us over two hours to check in. They would not check us in after showing them my hotels.com reservation. I then called hotels.com who quickly faxed them a copy of my confirmation. They still waited over an hour after receiving to check my in which by now was about 10:30 pm. Once they […] did check us in, they placed us in a room that was hidden behind the business center with constant noise and distractions all night (we were even told by one of the luggage assistants that it was by far the worst room in the hotel). After complaining and pushing for a room change at 3:00 am because we could not sleep, they finally moved us to a suite that was much better. In the end, I really appreciate their attempt to try and move us into a nicer suite to finish out the morning, but very disappointed and discouraged about taking over two hours to check in and getting the worst room in the house. "Good hotel but not for Sundays or Mondays"
I stayed here for two days on a Sunday and Monday. The staff were great, good location, has a gym and pool and Sky Bar is beautiful and cooozy. However, it is over priced for week days. If you are into night life, it's no point in staying here. Star Bar is dead on Sundays and Mondays. The Concierge cannot get you into the guest list of some of the good […] places. I'm not a fan of being in Hollywood, but if you need/want to be there, this is the hotel to be. "Better Options"
This is the second time I've stayed a Mondrian Hotel (South Beach was the other) and to be quite honest this is the second time I've been underwhelmed. I booked a King Room, the room was extremely small and didn't have a king bed. Not sure if they think people are not smart enough to know the difference between a queen size and king size, but most […] of us can. The other issue is the Sky Bar is cool, but very loud. Don't stay here if you want a good night sleep. For the noise and the uncomfortable bed will keep you up. The location is good and I am sure the views from the upper floors is amazing as well. The view from my room was of a bush, although they said it would "overlook the pool". I am definitely done with the Mondrian hotels. Much better options out there for the money. Leia mais
"Nice but overpriced"
For the most part The Mondrian is what you would expect out of a nicer hotel in the LA area but for the price (I compared pricing on several sites) it's a bit too much. Nothing really made this hotel stand out as exciting and mind-blowing. I doubt I'd stay here again as I know there are other comparable hotels pretty much across the street from this […] one. The room was cleanish but linens were noticeably smudged and the wallpaper was dirty around the air vent. The small king studio had an uncomfortable bed cramped in a corner of the room. "Hello LA"
Okay so this place is amazing! The staff were wonderful, the rooms were very nice and if you need somewhere to have a drink you can either go downstairs to the sky bar and check out the amazing view of LA or there are places walking distance away. I was very impressed with the hotel and I would go back in a heart beat!
"Mondrian in Los Angeles"
Great location for Sunset Strip bars and clubs. A decent walk to walk of the stars. Had a room on the 8th floor looking over the pool. We were warned about the noise from the Sky bar that finishes at 2am. This wasn't an issue as we were at the bar until closing time most nights. Sky bar is the place to be seen it would seem. "The Mondrian was a great choice"
My husband and i spent 5 weeks in the USA on our honeymoon and I'd have to say that the 4 nights we spent at the Mondrian were a real highlight. The hotel is what i would consider very 'LA' so if you're here to soak up the culture then look no further. When we arrived i was a little nervous because the hotel looked so swish that i thought the staff […] might be a bit pretensious but this was not at all the case. They were extremely nice and very knowledgable about touristy stuff to do. they even gave us a free upgrade when they found out we were on our honeymoon. (The room was absolutly stunning) The SKYBAR is awesome (if a little pricey but happy hour goes from 6 - 9 and had some nice cocktails) and has possibly the best view of LA. The hotel is walking distance from the Sunset Strip which has lovely restaurants. If we ever make it back to LA then i will without a doubt be staying here again. Leia mais

"Very stylish"
A very modern and well situated hotel. The restaurant (Asia de Cuba) has very innovative and tasteful food, a fusion between asian and western kitchens and very large helpings. The skybar is the best very beautiful and a lot of party with celebreties friday and saturday night (get a room facing away from the skybar if you sleep lightly).
"Great hotel"
Nice pool, nice hotel, you feel v.i.p. only one problem for me, while i was taking my shower at 11:30 pm , for 3 min the water stopped flowing while i was covered with soap. I strongley recommend this hotel.

having stayed at other mondrian hotels , this one is the biggest joke, if your going to be in the hollywood area, do not stay there you would be better off staying at the super 8 than there...i will never stay there ever again,

"stuck up staff"
The people who works at mondrian, receptionists and security etc. are extremely stuck up and make you feel like you are bothering them witch check in, questions and such. Thats the only thing that I really hate here.

"Perfect location for an LA getaway"
The Pool, Katana (across the street), SkyBar and late checkout, the perfect recipe for a weekend away
Hotel was hard to find only because it had no name written on it, so drove right by a at first. When we realized which building it was, it was fine. Room had great views of LA. Amazing views, actually. Front desk agent was extremely friendly and helpful. However, the lady at the bell stand handing payments couldn't get their credit card machine to work. […] Proceeded to tell us to get cash at the ATM (which charges a fee that she was unwilling to waive). Can't comment on restaurant or bar because didn't go to either. Leia mais

overall, not a bad place at all, they gave me a room with a super view, Im low maintenance and liked the bar, its still hip and the staff was fine, so stay with confidence and enjoy.

Hotel was ultra modern with an amazing room view! Guest privelige card gets you access into Sky Bar. Good location on sunset, close to bars & restaurants and walking distance to Hollywood blvd.
"Mondrian Hotel, Los Angeles"
Check in was good, it is valet parking which costs 32 dollars per day, a total rip off as you could easily park yourself, but we know this is part of the L.A. deal. Decor is good and room was clean with good views over L.A. Apart from that it is a total rip off. A bottle of water in the room costs between 4 and 12 dollars and they try to sell you everything […] in your room, including t shirts and flip flops all at highly inflated rates. The food is extortionate and the drink prices a total joke (don't even ask). It is the most awful pretentious place I have stayed in the world and very fake. It is a very young people's place and they partied at the pool until 2am, coming back to the rooms drunk and banging on doors. We complained in the morning, but the reception were not particularly responsive. If you like a party place, then you will like it here, even if you don't like the prices. The staff were polite enough. However, the staff around the pool are dressed in bikinis prancing around serving drinks, oh how we laughed. You will pay at every turn. Never again!!! Leia mais

"Two-Story Rusty Doors Welcome You..."
...if you know what to look for; otherwise, cruising by the hotel on Sunset Blvd is easier than finding the place. Plus, the in/out drive is badly designed and backs up onto the road. That said, the Mondrian is fun in design/comfort of rooms and drama of the setting. Ping pong tables in the lobby are a silly surprise, but our suite on the tenth floor […] was quiet and intriguing--back lit magic mirrors, underlit cabinets, white furniture, and a great view--combined to mean we weren't in a Hyatt....thanks be to god. "It's not new anymore."
I stayed at Mondrian in the early 2,000s dozens of times and it was an exciting and mysterious hotel. I told the front desk and my $60 upgrade was over the pool. Even so the upgrade is not worth $60. The hotel felt cheaper and the poseurs now rule SkyBar. In several times over the yearsI witnessed a decline. White rooms were cool then and I overlooked […] uncomfortable rooms decorated by a famous designer. I mostly feel sadness because it's lost its allure. And the valets forgot to put our bags in the trunk and after driving 25 miles back to get them I was asked by head valet if there was anything else they could do a I asked for a $32 parking refund but that fell on deaf ears. The rooms have just the perfect amount minimalism and interesting design that conveys class. The Sky Bar is a sensational venue at the right times during the day. The valets are courteous and quick. In summary, my stay was exceptional.

The hotel was so gorgeous. The room was luxurious and inviting. The staff was incredibly courteous and helpful. Especially with our ice requests. Sky Bar was fun, both early on and later in the evening. The staff was polite and attentive. But mainly I just love the room, the design is remarkable. A great stay.

"Starck Wonderland"
This is the best hotel that we have stayed in to date, total quality and we loved every minute. The views over LA from the Sky bar and restaurant are stunning, although the Asian-Cuban fusion food served may not be to every one's taste.
