The room was big and clean. Good working AC and clean well stocked bathroom. Good price...now for the bad stuff. The bed was horribly uncomfortable and the pillows were pitiful! It was so noisy one night I couldn't sleep. My neighbors were having a huge fight and slamming doors and no security ever came by. Also, the cable gets about 4 channels and thats it. Not horrible, but not great!

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was great it was clean and the bed was comfortable. There was a Very large flat screen TV microwave fridge and coffee maker in the room. The staff even adjusted the temperature of the Jacuzzi for us to make us more comfortable. Over all I really enjoyed my stay and the staff went out of there way to make my vacation enjoyable.

very clean. good location. easy to get to. staff was very helpful. i would absolutely stay there again.

This hotel is good for a one night stay only. Beds very uncomfrotable. Very noisey, you could hear everyone going in and out of there rooms and going up and down the stairs.

Truly you get what you pay for, which isn't a bad thing. This was an inexpensive place in a convenient location. It's an older hotel, but it was clean and close to my meetings. Nothing special, but if you're on a budget and want to be close to Newport Beach, this isn't a bad call.

Easy location to get to, but nothing special to look at. The hotel is plain and could use updating.

The hotel was very clean, easy to get to and I would stay there again. The only draw back were some very loud room neighbors.

The sheets looked like they had not been changed.

I got a decently priced hotel room for a brief stay in California. The trip was great; the hotel was a dump. The room stank, there were questionable stains on the carpet and the bedding, the pillow I brought as an extra from home disappeared and I discovered later it had just been made into the bed and the other pillow taken away. We were awakened in the night to the sound of other hotel guests having sex. Worst of all the second night of our stay I was exhausted and ready to crash into my bed, but when I pulled back the covers there were ANTS all over my bedding. Upon pulling the bed back from the wall I discovered a lot of food and garbage left over from previous room guests that had never been properly cleaned up. I told the front desk and I was handed new sheets and a can of Raid. Thanks!

I paid for 4 nights and when my daughter showed up the room had been cancelled and they had no room available for her.

They do have nice big screen tv. Only thing was there was only 1 towel so we needed to ask for more of course. And location aint to hot but it worked for us.

I have stayed at this motel multiple times. I have never had an issue. The price is perfect, and the location is even better. A 10 min drive to Huntington Beach and less than 30 to Disneyland at a rate you can't beat, is the reason why we always stay here. This place definitely isn't anything special, same wallpaper as any other motel, but it's clean, close and has very friendly staff. We will definitely be back!

For the price I had low expectations. We were pleasantly surprised, by a clean room with good mattresses and even a fridge and microwave. Carpets were fairly new and clean, sink area had granite counter. Bathroom was small, but clean and adequate. Pool area was pleasant and well maintained. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The cable for internet access did not work at firsr, but they worked with my son until they had it going. We found the staff helpful and responsive. We had a surprisingly pleasant stay.

Good: Hotel was clean, staff was very friendly,location and price were excellent! Bad: Traffic noise was a little loud. Ugly: Friday night fights! "Guests" (aka drunks @#$holes) in rooms next to us started the fighting about 9:30 pm and continued all night long until about 5:oo am. My young children were scared, wife was pissed and I was thinking "glad I didn't pay more for this room. Hotel responded well to my 3 complaints but nothing was done to boot the offenders. I was credited $20.00 in the morning to get a good breakfast! Staff was professional but needs to make sure these problems are squashed before they offend guests who might not return ever again!

For the price we paid, we couldn't have had a better hotel on New Year's Eve. It was right next door (within walking distance) to the venue we were going to and was clean and comfortable.

The pillow cases were different colors, there was hair and stains on the sheets, the border was falling off. This was the most disgusting hotel I have ever stayed at. We found a new hotel the first night especially after hotels. Com would not gives us our money back to use towards a new reservation somewhere else.

Hotel was just about right for an old Hotel and the price, needs more renovations to get a higher rating it's in a good safe area of Costa Mesa, Ca.

Don't let that word Hacienda fool you. This is your basic Travelodge. Good area, but directly on rt. 55. If you have a street facing room, like I did, it will be noisy. The ac/heating unit did not have a knob so I couldn't change the heat setting. The office didn't have an extra knob. That really sucked. The bulb went out on the main ceiling light as I entered, so I had to change that myself. The bed was very comfortable.

I had to stay here last min and I was worried about the hotel due to the low price. I was pleasantly surprised to find a very friendly staff, a clean comfortable room and soft bed. I plan on staying again on my next trip.

the rooms are too dated, the colors are depressing and the place was just tacky old, it needed a little help, the staff was fine, the room was kept clean and the grounds were clean, all were nice and polite and everything was made available, It was just very depressing, more like a $25 off the road room

i was actually surprised by the room. large bed, big flat screen tv, which was a real shocker. could have done with better blankets, being as it's winter, and the heater just gets too hot, even on low settings. the breakfast is my only real complaint. it's nice of them to put it out, but it was all sugar filled bready stuff: donuts, danishes (which were apparently hard) and sugary goops to go on toast. and juice. the juice was fine. but something a bit more nutritious would have been nice.

Smelled bad and had cockroaches.

Hot tub was a cold and pool was cold too. No wifi, but did have wired internet but was slower than I am used to. Room was clean, good no frills motelif you want to be near the airport and no other choices.

very pleased with everything!!!! all staff were friendly, and made me comfortable!

The hotel was much better than what we had expected. There was also a superb whirlpool outside which we could enjoy until 10 p.m. The room was clean and specious.

this hotel was close enough to the beach, a good walk also a short bus ride, right off newport and the 55 the hotel was super easy to find, and tucked off the main drag

Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and in good repair. Internet access worked great. Nice room for the cost. Only complaint is the breakfast was just toast and prepackaged danishes, nothing fancy. Overall, would recommend hotel and would stay there again.

nice room,FS tv/sofa/mwave/fridge/coffee maker,free internet was great,jacuzzi and pool.a little hard to get to but all in all very good value for the money.

Decent hotel and we slept well - when finally the other guests finally stopped partying outside our room (at roughly 1AM) ...

need more parking, also they shut off the water for 1 hour at least without telling us. i would not recommend the hotel again

The bed was crawling with bed bugs ...the management of the hotel didn't seem to care...need I say more? To summarize: It was horrible and I would never ever stay at a travelodge again.

Ants in bathroom. They were never attended to.

We needed a bed to sleep in before the Surf City Marathon. It was fine. Not fancy and yucky neighborhood.

First of all, the location is great! It is right near the free way, several shops, food places, and anything else you would really need. I couldn't even hear the freeway from my room though so it wont keep you awake. The room was decent and the service was quick and friendly. My only complaint was that the jacuzzi was not working. I always stay at hotels/motels that have jacuzzis and this was a disappointment for my girlfriend and myself. Other than that though it was a pleasent stay and I would stay hear again. It is about 5-10 minutes from the beach as well.

Thestay at the hotel was very quiet comfortable and resturaunts were in walking distance. The clerks were just as nice and accomadating. I enjoyed the jaccuzi and swimming pool;)I loved the Continental breakfast!
