The whole family will have fun exploring Llandudno’s connection to Lewis Carroll’s beloved children’s book through the whimsical Alice in Wonderland Trail. Pick up a map from the Llandudno Tourist Information Centre and set off after the White Rabbit in search of fun sculptures and sites of inspiration. The trail is clearly marked by 55 bronze rabbit footprints and leads you past several notable landmarks such as the town hall, the Mostyn Gallery, and the Haulfre Gardens. The trail is roughly 4 km or 2.5 miles in length, so allow a couple of hours to complete it. Will you be able to find all 12 statues and 34 points of interest?

The scenic public park and landscaped gardens of Happy Valley are set in a former quarry on the eastern side of Great Orme. The brightly painted Llandudno Cable Cars take visitors on a roughly 20-minute journey to the summit of Great Orme and back again, offering spectacular views of the Bay of Llandudno, the Conwy Estuary, and far out over the Irish Sea. A selfie with the bay in the background will make a wonderful memento, especially as you can even bring the family dog along. Note that tickets are cash-only, so be sure to bring plenty with you.

The Llandudno Ski and Snowboard offers lessons on their dry slopes for all abilities and ages, and you can even partake in one as a family so you can all learn together. After your time on the slopes, challenge each other to a game of mini-golf. The course’s alpine theme looks incredible when it’s illuminated after dark.
