Moors and Christians Fiesta is a unique Benidorm event that takes place in early October. During this period, locals dress up to commemorate the battles fought during Reconquista, when Christian kingdoms sought to recover lands that had been occupied by the Muslims.

Tossal de la Cala is a hill to the southwest of Benidorm, between Poniente and Finestrat beaches. The 100-metre peak shields the beaches from strong wind. You can also check out Ermita Virgen del Mar, a small hilltop chapel built in the 1400s.
