The Sassi–Superga tramway takes you to the summit of Superga Hill at an altitude of 672 metres. The route covers over 3 km, with a 425-metre vertical drop and an average gradient of 13.5%. You can take to Sassi station from Turin’s centre via Tram 15 from Piazza Castello.
Make yourself comfortable in the original 1934 carriages (when the already 50-year-old tramway was revamped). The Basilica of Superga greets you upon arrival, with its impressive dome, Tombe dei Savoia (tombs of the Savoys), and panoramic views of Turin and the Alps.

Weekdays are reserved for pre-booked groups, but everyone can visit MAcA on weekends without prior reservatons.
