Kurhotel Skodsborg, Skodsborg

The hotel was beautiful and the staff were friendly and helpful. I arrived around 10:00am but a room wasn't available so I went to the spa and experienced variety of Nordic spa, sauna and steam room (additional 200DKK = approx AU$40), which was nice. The room was OK and comfortable but an elevator wasn't working so it was difficult to carry the suitcase. The restaurant on the 3rd floor for breakfast was very nice looking over the nice sea view. 6DKK to the city on train each way.

the hotel location and surrounds provided a relaxing and inspiring two week stay. the staff were friendly,helpful and efficient. the restaurant on the roof top had great views overlooking the beach and provided food of good quality and taste. the fitness center and peaceful spa area were top quality with skilled exercise instructors providing various classes. My only two complaints are that my room was perhaps a little small, but did have a nice balcony with a view looking over the beach. And that unfortunately the rooms on either side of me were smokers and l had their smoke drifting into my balcony and windows of my room, which was a little annoying as occasionally l had to close my balcony door and windows to avoid the smell of cigarette smoke.

Excellent hotel located just north of Copenhagen. Train station very close to hotel with trains every 15 minutes or so to Copenhagen central and the Airport as well. Great staff, breakfast was lovey and is served in the top floor so lovely views of the sea. Great relaxation area in bar / lounge area. Overall I give it 5 stars.
