Hampton Inn Suites Tilton, Tilton

It pains me to give this hotel 3 stars. I would love to give it 5 stars. There are many wonderful things about it: it's new, clean, spacious, well designed, friendly staff, plenty of parking, and above average breakfast buffet. Unfortunately for us, there is also a fatal flaw: no ability to keep the a/c fan in the "ON" mode. The only option is for the fan to cycle on and off with the compressor. Generally there is a switch to have the fan remain on, running at all times. Creates great white noise, covers noises from hallway and adjoining rooms, and, perhaps most importantly, alleviates the disrupting noise of the a/c cycling on and off, on and off, on and off -- all night long.... I think you get the picture. We slept poorly. For $209, I expect a good night's sleep. Everything else about the hotel was great, but that one things is very difficult to overlook.

Great hotel - we stayed over for a show at Bank of New Hampshire Pavillion, bout a 10min drive away. Check in was great and the staff friendly. Room was clean and good size, would definitely recommend staying here.

Super-clean and convenient hotel for one-night stay at a concert at the nearly Bank of New Hampshire pavillion. Friendly staff, good parking, spacious room with comfortable beds.

Most enjoyable. Visiting family and boating on lake with them.
