Ledgestone Hotel

As hotels in Yakima go, the Ledgestone is probably the best bang for your buck among the newer, safer hotels in the area. It has laundry facilities with free machines, an assortment of beverage and snack vending machines in the same room, and very spacious suites that resemble corporate condos one might rent in larger cities. The only nit I could pick is the television situation. They have 36" Toshiba flat screen TVs mounted in both the living room and bedroom, which have a small digital receiver box and its cables tucked tightly beneath and behind the units, blocking any easy access to the HDMI ports. There are RCA ports easily exposed on the outside edge, but if you plan on connecting a Chromecast, Roku, or PC to these very much non-smart televisions, you're going to need tiny, nimble hands and the patience of a saint in order to get an HDMI up in that nether region behind the very securely mounted panels. Otherwise, great place to stay, and I'll be back (with more adapters and cables on hand!)

Nice hotel.. only thing we did not like, the bed was extra firm and not comfortable at all. We woke up with our back aching. The pillows were also to firm, other than that no issues.

Clean and quiet. It is set up like an extended stay with kitchenettes. Room service is a weekly thing because of this. Bob's Burgers and Brews was right in the parking lot. Though other than that, Target and Pizza Hut there isn't much around.
