HiLight Suites Hotel

My husband and I stayed here during our longer European adventure vacation. We stayed at this location two nights and I am so glad we did. First, let me say, after the crowds and hustle of Italy, I was so happy to be in Vienna. We flew into the main airport and took the CAT train into the city. From the CAT station we walked about 10 to 15 mins to our hotel. The property was easy to find and the area felt safe. The front staff was friendly and helpful enough to provide a nice map of the city. Our room was huge. There is a large living room area with couch, TV, microwave, coffee /sink area and even an area for coat hanging and storage. The bedroom was also large and included another TV for entertainment. The bathroom was large, clean, and had a tub!! You really felt like you could relax in the space and since we were halfway through our trip when we stayed here that was a relief. The bed was comfortable enough and there were extra pillows and blankets available in the room. The area outside the hotel had plenty of options for dining, shopping, and sight seeing. The city itself is beautiful and clean. I would highly recommend this hotel and this city : )

There is one thing with this hotel. Don't believe to the picture on web site even though they claim that that there are 3 types of rooms, but I didn't see hardwood floor, just carpet.

Worst place to be with family. Toilet/bathroom in the main bedroom. So if someone wants to go in the toilet need to go through the main room which can be most awkward, specially in the middle of night. But it never mentioned in any website that the toilet is in the main bed room.

The hotel is clean and the staff is friendly and efficient, but based on the reviews and photos I expected more (for my money). The family suite we stayed in on the 4th floor looked nothing like the pictures - slanted ceiling, carpeted floor, stuffy inside. The sofabed for children consisted of two separate pull-out mattresses on metal frames with a gap in-between them. This is not exactly child-safe (in a family suite!) -my son managed to hit his head on the metal frames in the gap before he realised this was not a normal bed. One of the windows in the area where children slept was missing the blind cover leading to the room being fully lit by 6am. The stuff quickly came up with a remedy (taping the window), but I had a feeling this was not the first time they were dealing with this issue. There are other minor details (no chair to put clothes on in the main sleeping area, minimalistic closet with 5 hangers for 4 people, no hooks/bars in the bathroom to hang up used towels) that just added up to the feeling of being a bit disappointed.

Liked size of rooms.Actually suites. Nice hotel. Location good, restaurants couple blocks away.

Excellent location near Stadtpark. All public areas and suite were spotlessly clean. Breakfast was varied and excellent, and plentiful. All staff were polite and helpful. I used the fitness room regularly and it was well appointed, although I couldn’t locate any air conditioning there, and would have liked some to make my exercise more comfortable (was in the warm-ish basement). I would have no hesitation in recommending this, and would certainly stay again.

all was very good, only that there was not enough toiletries, towels were very small to wrap around even a small woman's body , no bathrobes which would have been nice...staff very helpful ,taxis were booked before we came and met us at the airport on time ,and again when leaving, all was excellent location etc. This was our first New Year in Vienna ...2019

You have to stay here! The absolute best thing about staying at this hotel was the staff we met (sincere apologies to them if I misspell a name!). Stephen met me at check-in and was very helpful. Throughout our stay he was exceedingly helpful, friendly, and fun! Truly a kind heart. Daniella, one of the managers, is equally amazing. She was so friendly and took time to really visit with us. Sofia was above and beyond. We were trying to get a dinner reservation for Christmas Eve (not an easy task) and Sofia offered to help. What we did not learn until after the fact is that she physically ran to two restaurants to confirm they were closed when they did not answer the phone. She also not only found us a table but found a restaurant we could walk to. Everyone was wonderful, but we definitely looked forward to seeing Stephen, Daniella, or Sofia each time we passed the front desk or visited the café for coffee. We also loved the location, the spacious room (including the shower), and you must book with breakfast - it was amazingly yummy and included eggs & bacon/sausage!

Clean, quiet, warm, awesome bath! Friendly front desk staff but house keeper knocked and entered twice on last morning despite noon checkout time! Would stay again.

We loved the location in a quiet setting, but in easy walking distance to the central part of the city, the pedestrian areas and St. Stephans Church. There were many excellent restaurants nearby as well. The breakfast room was very nice and the breakfast was excellent. The staff were always extremely pleasant and very helpful with every request we had. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again.
