Fairfield Inn & Suites Dallas Plano

I was a little disappointed. I had requested a handicap accessible room. When checking in I was told it was. Whenever we got to room it was a tight squeeze with my wheelchair. The toilet was low to ground and No bars to help me get up. They had one grab bar in tub, but I couldn’t get in. Good thing I was only there 2 nights.

very close to Hospital. Good price. Had problem with battery on my truck and helped me with it.

The location was perfect for the event I was in town for. Easy to find, excellent parking. The front desk staff was very friendly, it was great after driving for 6 hours to be greeted with a smile and a welcome. Super comfy bed too.

Based on our specific room: A/C wasn’t quite as cool as we wanted it, but still comfortable. The shower pull was very difficult to pull up. Requested adjoining rooms and they accommodated (I have never had others hotels fill that request). Check in was a little busy, but the staff was efficient and very polite. Breakfast was crazy busy with a tennis team, volleyball team and women’s conference all needing to eat at the same time. The attendant was quickly keeping items stocked and she had a smile the whole time. Easy on and off the George Bush Toll.

I spent one night in this hotel. I picked it due to its location and comprehensive service like free breakfast, free parking, and free wifi. The staff are friendly. The facilities are ok but you can tell they are a little old. I used the swim pool and felt that it is ok. I booked a 1-king room and the size is ok. The room is clean and quiet. 2 things I may suggest to improve are 1) there is no microwave in it so I had to use the one in the kitchen on the 1st floor to heat my food; 2) the shower faucet is not working well. The faucet has few issues. The first, the pull-out plug only works half way so only half of water will come from the top. Secondly, the water control only works half way so I either got really hot but a little bit full water flow or lukewarm but half of water flow. I told the recptionist about the shower faucet issue and was told that they are working on it. That is lower than my expectation to the Marriott service. They should either give the guests head up or just don't use that room. Overall, I feel ok for this hotel.
