Samui Football Golf is the creator of an original game that combines 2 different sports. The idea is simple enough: it’s a hybrid of football and golf in which players try to steer a football into 18 holes using as few strokes as possible – with their feet, of course.
You and your group can play the game for at least 1 hour. At the same time, you can enjoy a refreshing tropical garden walk around a beautiful coconut plantation that forms the 18-hole course.

What are the highlights of Samui Football Golf?
At Samui Football Golf, the heady mix of lots of shared fun, a gentle stroll (with a few kicks thrown in), and some friendly competition are hard to top. Unlike a lot of the other activities in Koh Samui, which are done individually and on a one-on-one basis, this is good old-fashioned group fun.
The course itself is not too long – if you count misplaced shots, passes and putts, it adds up to 1,500 metres. Each round usually takes about 1 hour to complete.
Samui Football Golf, like many other activities involving skill, just gets better the more you play it. You can choose between hard and easy routes (for first-timers). Each hole is singular in its design, meaning no boring repeats. You’ll come across U-turns, trees, dog-legs, coconut logs and shells, bunkers and ditches to navigate. All in all, it’s challenging and a whole lot of fun.
Good to know about Samui Football Golf
You’ll find drinks and snacks in the reception area. Cool towels and a free soft drink are available at the 11th and 18th holes. When you’ve completed the course, you’ll get a commemorative keyring with your personnel score on to take with you back home.
Samui Football Golf is on Beach Road, around a 10-minute drive north of Chaweng or a 5-minute drive from the Big Buddha in the other direction. You can book a transfer as the course has its own pickup truck.
