The critically acclaimed surrealist painter, Salvador Dalí, left his mark all throughout Catalonia, primarily through 3 main locations, known as the Dali Triangle. Dalí was born and raised in Figueres, just 30 minutes outside of Girona, a landscape that inspired him throughout his career. The Dalí Triangle is the geometrical figure that would appear on a map of Catalonia if we were to draw a line between the municipalities of Púbol, Portlligat and Figueres.

This space, concentrated in a territory of scarcely 40 sq km, contains the elements that make up the Dalinian universe: its museums, landscape, light, architecture, customs, legends, gastronomy and more, all essential for understanding the life and work of Salvador Dalí.

Follow the route of the Muralles de Girona, 9th-century walls that have been adapted into a raised pedestrian walkway, for an aerial overview of the old town, and beyond. Can you spot the Girona Cathedral, Pont de Pedra, and the Arab Baths?
