The beach’s popularity started when it was the filming location for the 1956 movie Et Dieu… Créa La Femme (And God Created Woman), starring Brigitte Bardot. The beach is on the edge of Janas Forest, close to La Seyne-sur-Mer. The sand is a little coarse, and the steps to the beach are a bit steep, but the laid-back atmosphere makes it worth the 15-minute walk from the coast road and nearby parking spots. Note that there are no facilities here, so bring your own refreshments.
