Ras Nasrani, also spelled Ras Nusrani, is one of the most easily accessible snorkelling spots in all of Egypt. As a matter of fact, many corals grow just a few metres from shore. Sometimes, you can even see fish swimming around just by peering over the jetty.
Although you can see some marine life from the shore, the underwater world just gets more vibrant the deeper you head out. Keep an eye out for colourful fish, spotted stingray and even the occasional whale shark.

Perched on top of rugged, sandy cliffs, Reef Beach is unlike any of the other beaches in Sharm El Sheikh. First and foremost, you simply can’t walk straight into the water. You’ll have to wind your way down a few sets of stairs before you can start snorkelling amongst the beautiful marine life.
While the clifftop location might seem like a downside at first, it definitely has its perks. On the hottest of Egypt’s summer days, Reef Beach gets a consistent breeze to help cool things off, which is needed when temperatures reach 37 degrees Celsius.

Located at the northern end of Sharm El Sheikh, Mousa Bay often doesn’t make it onto people’s itineraries, simply because it’s a bit out of the way. That said, it’s one of the only Sharm El Sheikh beaches where you can escape the crowds, especially during peak season.
While the lack of people is a major perk, Mousa Bay is also an all-around beautiful beach. Golden sand, sunny skies and blue waters await. And if you decide to take a peek under the sea, quite a few colourful fish will be ready to welcome you as well.
