O hotel praticamente não tem nada ao redor, só um 7/11 que quebra bem o galho. Porém é muito rápido se deslocar de lá até qualquer lugar de carro; exceto Nova Iorque - pegue o trem. O quarto é limpo e confortável e os funcionários são educados. O café da manhã é simples, mas resolve. Pelo valor, vale a pena com certeza.

Apart from the fact that the toilet was not flushed when I arrived but other than that the room was pretty clean. Big LCD TV, Heater works, Quite room, good reception, and good breakfast. Overall, it was a good experience for me.

The hotel staff couldn't care less when you check in. The rooms are cleaned thoroughly. Don't try to check in early because there is a fee even if the room is unoccupied.

The hotel location is not the best. The continental breakfast is alright. Housekeeping leaves much to be desired. Rooms very small, you can barely walk around. TV does not have a wide selection of channels and front desk people seem like thay don't want to be bothered.

The hotel stay was fine. The hotel is a fairly new property. It is within a 10 minute walk to the mall and restaurants. The continental breakfast did not offer a very good variety of choices. My main complaint was that I had a very noisy neighbor that was partying through the wee hours of the morning. They were quite noisy and I considered complaining […] about it, but decided not to. The hotel offers value for money. It was the first time I used the hotel and I will go back to it.

Bed bugs were not visible. BUT! I definitely got bit 4 times. I know it was bed bugs because they were lined up like typical bed bug patterns. Also, the location was not in a safe location. The train station was far to walk to and at night I would recommend a taxi service. It did not feel safe at night walking from the station to the hotel. This hotel is a dump in a run down neighborhood with grafiti all over. The room was ubelievably small and smelled like a wet carpet, and there was no parking space.

This hotel was the cheapest one I could find in NYC and it showed. The AC in the room did not work, but they did give me a new room after the first night after a complained several times. Also, I did not get any sleep the first night because the Fire alarm was going off for several hours. You wouldn't expect this hotel to be clean and comfortable, given the area, however, you'll be pleasantly surprised to be proven otherwise. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and staff was very accommodating. Also, the continental breakfast buffet offered a nice selection of breakfast options. My only two real complaints about this hotel […] is that (1) it's not as close to LaGuardia airport as the hotel advertises (about 8 miles when traveling via the BQE - Brooklyn Queens Expressway), and (2) that the neighborhood it's in is a bit gritty. "Days Inn in Elmhurst - not a critter in sight!"
We were impressed with the friendliness of the desk clerk and the cleanliness of the hotel. Our non-smoking room was truly non-smoking, unlike other hotels where the non-smoking rooms reek of tobacco. However, I'm not sure how smoke-free the hallways were, and I'm basing this on my sense of smell alone. The room was small, but I didn't expect anything […] else in a New York City hotel. The bed was a large and comfortable Queen sized bed. Some of the previous reviews talked about critters (mice and bedbugs) but I searched before settling in, and the place was spotless. So don't listen to those comments about bugs and mice. The parking lot is very small and I can see that finding a spot in that neighborhood might be a challenge, but we managed nicely. My only complaint is that the breakfast was mostly bread (muffins, etc.) and coffee. I've been to other Days Inns that offered at least one hot egg dish. We ended up going to a very nice diner near the shopping mall down Queens Boulevard. Leia mais

"good stay"
I stayed at the Days Inn for a total of 5 nights, during that time, the staff and management were super. the room was comfortable until the day before I left and the airconditioner went out. It was a sunday so a repairman was not available, this is understandable. the manager offered to move me to a different room in order to insure that I was comfortable. […] I also felt that it was a nice touch to have a Keurig coffee maker in the room, they are so much nicer than the little 2 cup perculators you usually find. The housekeepers were able to let me have so extra coffee so that I was able to make coffee any times. A pleasure to stay at the Elmhurst Days Inn, I will recommend it to anyone. Leia mais

"One hours sleep"
I highly recommend that guests are not allocated rooms on the first floor. The noise of door alarm ringing, guests checking in, guests checking out, guests walking heavily in the corridor, guests shouting to complain and guests talking to each other meant that, in total, I slept for about one hour.

it was a confortable and affordable room. only thing was the noise in the mornings which is probably inevitable in NYC.

With price, it is very affordable and close to subways. The only thing is that they dont have enough parking. But all in all hotel's great! And will stay here again

"Days Inn Elmhurst"
I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. The neighborhood is not the most desirable, but this hotel is a gem. The staff was helpful, even allowing me to check in early. The decor was very up-to-date, and the room was clean. There were some issues with some of the grouting in the shower. Other than that, I was very pleased.

The hotel was in mint condition and the staff who worked in the kitchen pantry were really helpful and generous. The worse thing about the hotel was the disgusting, stained bedsheets they used.

"DUMP"
DO NOT STAY HERE IS IN THE GHETTO AND HAS GRAFFITTI ALL OVER THE WALLS (SURELY NOT IN THE PICTURES I LOOKED AT ONLINE) THEY CHARGE YOU $30.00 A NIGHT TO PARK YOUR CAR! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO MY WORST ENEMY!!! REAL DUMP....

"Great hotel to stay in."
The hotel is clean and you get what you pay for. it's little small but you can't beat a room with a big flat screen TV that is in front of your bed. Eventho you only get very limited cable channels, but it's worth it. Also the hotel has free internet services. The only problem is there is always something that is broken. I booked this hotel online at 1PM for the same arrival. When I realized that I picked the wrong Days Inn I contacted to ask them to cancel. It was witin minutes from making the online reservation. They refused to and kept one night's charge claiming that any cancellation after they keep 1 night deposit. But if i booked at 1PM how could I cancel at […] 12? Leia mais

"Misleading Location"
The write up on Hotels.com says 2 miles from Broadway. This is not the Broadway I went to see it is near Broadway St in Queens. Elmhurst is Queens. The location is several blocks from the subway so you either pay outragous prices for a cab into the city or walk through a sketchy neighborhood to the train. We tried to cancel 2 days prior to our arrival […] but the manager refused to allow a refund so we went there rather than loose our money. The room was clean but tiny and the bathroom fixtures broke- the shower head and sink faucet both came apart. They do have a nice TV which came in handy since we were leery of walking around in the area after dark. Leia mais
"Needs Improvement"
While the room was fine, a little tight, the service was not what I expected. I was not impressed with the level of service or the knowledge of the staff regarding the surrounding area. Subway stop is a 10 minute walk. Free breakfast was sparse and unappealing.

The hotel is very nice and clean. We styed 4 days and the room was really comfortable. there was no refrigerator in the room and if you need to go by cab take your own, don't let the reception to call it because is too expensive.

I'm a Fl girl, so being in NY I was quite cold. They only have a heater that they turn on when it gets cold out. I guess below 60 isn't cold there. Very, very small room! They charge 3 dollars a bag to hold them for you. Great location, right by time square.

Remember your in New york, There isn't any neighborhood that looks the greatest. but I did feel safe and the hotel staff made me feel very comfortable. i stayed for the weekend and i loved it, service was great..the room was very clean and cousy, nice plasma tv..5 min walking distance to queens mall..really liked the location and will go back everytime im in ny.
"Could use customer service"
The rooms are clean although my room did have a tuna fish odor to it it wasn't unbearable. And the place was spotless. A/c is cold and quiet. I would like them to have more TV channels, but over all the rooms are very nice a clean. The Plasma TV's are a great addition. My only concern is .One male desk clerk is very rude and has the worst possible manners […] in dealing with guests. The woman who checked me in though. Absolutely the best.
