Watch for bargins, this is a good hotel for 100-140 range, rooms are small but nice.

The hotel was good for the price and cute, but our room was obviously originally one room that was split into two. The window was all the way over on the far side of the wall and felt a little strage.

Felix Hotel is located in nice location, easy access to the magnificent mile and surrounding restaurants. My room was quite small, probably due to it being a corner room but it was well maintained and I look forward to coming back to The Felix at some point this year.

I have stayed at the Hotel Felix several times and am very impressed. The hotel has a great location near restaurants, shopping, bars, etc. It has a very intimate, swanky and exclusive feel and the staff is exceedingly friendly and accomodating. The only downside is the rooms are small so if you don't mind a small room I would highly recomend it.

hotel quality is good but room is very small for this price! over is ok.... and parking is $40.00 pre night also little over price.

Beautiful hotel. Rooms are very nice. Bed was extremely comfortable. Only minor complaint was that the heating system was somewhat loud when it clicked on at night. Other than that....perfect. The Hotel Felix is a modern looking, hip hotel with a great atmosphere. Rooms are a bit small but the size of the room really wasn't an issue at all for us because the cleanliness, style and great customer service made up for that. If you go for the queen room, be warned it is small, but it still a very nice room. Everything was new and clean in the room. The hotel staff was awesome, and very helpful. However, the room size is relatively small and they do not have a large staff in the hotel lobby at night so if you arrive late, you may have to wait for someone to help you. Excellent stay. All main attractions are very close. Easily accessible to bus and train. Walking distance to the best local food eateries. The staff were extremely helpful and polite. Rooms are comfortable with a good view of the city. I would recommend this hotel to a friend and will stay here again in the future.

Husband and I just dropped in for the night last minute based on its location and price. Great style, amazingly comfortable bed, quality products, free wi-fi, excellent customer service. Only reason why this place is not a 5 is because the room was tiny - barely fits a bed and desk. We were tempted to do a spa treatment but did not have time. The overall stay at this hotel was average at best. It has a nice modern style to it and everything was nicely maintained but the people at the front desk were not very friendly and the hotel rooms are insanely small. Also, the first room we checked into had a french fry made INTO the bed. So we had our room changed quickly. Another thing was that when […] checking into the hotel, they charge you $100 for incidentals but never tell you. While we were in Chicago, we ended up over drafting our checking account due to this. Thankfully all we had to do was transfer money from our other checking account but this could be very problematic for others who may have limited funds. Feeling spontaneous, we were looking to stay in a nice hotel downtown for the night. Hotel Felix seemed reasonable and convenient, especially during the holidays. We were really excited about all the "amenities" described online such as gorgeous city views, bath robes, and egyptian cotton linens. Much to our dismay, our city view was of a building undergoing […] construction with plastic flapping loudly all night. Bath robes? No such luck. Egyptian Cotton? Sandpaper would've been an upgrade. Not only that, but our room was the size of a shoebox. I understand it's a "boutique" hotel, but when did a coffee pot in your room not become standard? When we went downstairs for a cup of coffee, the carafe was empty and we had to wait for more to be brought out. Truly disappointed with our stay. Nicely done modernist update to a historic building. Rooms small but stylish and adequate. Casually professional not formal staff. Good, expensive restaurant (with terrible coffee) on site.

The price and location of the hotel was great. But....the rooms are not very quiet. You can hear all hallway traffic. The room itself is set up in an odd way. The room had 2 large windows, but the bed was put up on the window wall. You could not look out the windows and enjoy the view. Instead, you faced the bathroom and not the TV. I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Felix. Desirable location, friendly staff, comfortable room -- and I enjoyed a few meals at Elate. This one is a repeat!

My fiance and I were in Chicago for a concert. The front desk staff was helpful. The hotel was clean. Our room was on the smaller side but was all we really needed. I wouldn't expect much more in the city for the price I paid. There was a nice-looking restaurant attached that we did not use. There was a bar and some trendy couches in the lobby. The […] bartender was very social and the group there was partaking and having a great time. We sat and had a couple drinks and felt very welcome. I'm in Chicago 2x monthly for business. I usually stay at a specific hotel in the Loop. However, i was attending an event closer to the Felix, and got what I beleived to be a good rate, so I thought I'd try it. Never again. This was by far the smallest hotel room Ive ever stayed in. I get 'boutique' hotrels tend to be a bit 'cozy'...but this was ridiculous. […] There was not walking room, no closet (except for a metasl arm sticking out of a tiny alcove with a curtain. I was not comfortable at all because of the size of the room....on top of that, the 'lounge' was nothing miore than a tiny bar with not energy....the coffee promised each morning ran out at 7:00am and i waited 5 minutes before i had to leave for work....ugh! Love staying at this hotel. Great place for the $~ hip, cool and perfect location.

At first we doubted it would be ok since we've lost another obvious choice. The rooms are somehow small but the rest was pretty nice. Great choice.

This hotel has got a great location (north of the river, just a short walk from Michigan Avenue and the prime shopping district), with great service (interactions with all staff members, from the doorman to check in to cleaning staff were all great). However, the rooms themselves had some issues - no refrigerator in room, no clock in room, bathroom […] sink was very shallow and very slow to drain, so it filled up after running the faucet for only a few seconds, no counter area in bathroom that could be used to place toiletries, shower pressure was okay at best. We were pleased with most aspects of the Hotel Felix. However, we were given a handicap room which we did not request. There was no place to hang long clothing, the shower was hand held and there was no tub. We are in our 60's and the shower specifically was inconvenient.When I asked why we were given this room I was told we requested the standard king […] room and it is larger than the other king rooms and that none of the rooms had bathtubs. I tried to see another king room for comparison so I would know which room to request if we returned, however there were none available to look at. I'm not sure what we will do in the future. rooms are very, very small.

It is great location where is close to Michigan Ave, No.1 Mac. and other good restraunts. You can go to every tourist attractions by walk, but Willis tower and navy pier is little bit away. It takes about 30 mins by 30mins. The defects is that there is no refrigirater in room and fan nosiy is too big. It offer self parking which cost 23$/day.

The service was perfect (valet and front desk) but they could not make up for the fact that the room was very small in comparison to other Chicago hotels in the same price range. I travel to Chicago monthly and the was one of the worst hotels I have stayed in. The room also had both elevator and street noise. On the bright side, the rooms were beautifully […] appointed. The room I stayed in this stay was very small and I felt that it should not have the same rate as a standard room. I have stayed at this hotel before and booked a standard size room and very pleased.

This is my go-to. I love everything about the Felix.

This hotel is clean and contemporary. The rooms are on the smaller side, but the beds are high quality and it's comfortable. It's also in a great location with easy walking to multiple dining spots.

I was book a one bed room on hotel.com. But when I arrived this hotel at night, the valet was unresponsive and the distribution was incorrect from the in front desk, and after I walk in, I called them to change the room as my reservation, but they did not. Also, the wash basin in the bath room was lockage. This size of room is small, my leg was bruised […] by the corner of bed. And the room in felix is not soundproof. Unfortunately, I left a small bag in the bathroom when I check out. However, When I called them in the morning to ask about my stuff. Nice, charming boutique hotel. I little tucked away from the hustle and bustle, but moderatly convenient to most things. Great Value. Don't expect amazing views or expansive rooms. Do expect smartly appointed rooms, free wifi, excellent staff, unique boutique feeling and motley crew of hotel guests. Recommend for a good value.

We had another nice stay in The Hotel Felix. I greatly appreciate that it is a LEED hotel. I was surprised to find our room at an unnaturally cold 69 when we came to the room. The lights in the room were also overly bright for the evenings. I left a message for housekeeping about a lost item and no one ever called me back. I will follow up. Every time I visit Chicago, I do myself a favor and stay at the Felix. It's centrally located, just off the loop and a few blocks from Michigan Ave and the lake. The neighborhood itself is going through a dramatic renaissance with many new highrise condos, restaurants and bars. Elate, the restaurant in the hotel is great. It should not be considerd as a 4 star hotel ,I belive 2or 3 star will be better than this .No coffee machine,rooms too small ,no closet to store your belongings a terrible experince to stay .Even Room was not clean till 11.oo Pm left messages to the house keeping manager but no reply :(
