I really liked this hotel for it's great location in Shinjuku. Very close to the subway and very close to a whole host of other bars/shops etc. I rated Shibuya as slightly better for location but this was almost as good and was significantly cheaper. :)

I stayed one night in a "bright single" room. It was small (standard for Japanese hotels) but the bed was fairly large for single room (small double?) and comfortable. The room was very clean and felt bigger than it was because of the decor. It has a glass window and door on the bathroom, no curtain/blind (so i wouldn't really recommend sharing this […] room!) which makes the room seem larger versus similar size in other rooms. There wasn't much storage space (typical for this type of Japanese hotel room). It's a short walk (~2 or 3 blocks from the airport bus stop in Shinjuku), there's an airport "limousine" bus that goes direct to/from the hotel but it's only every hour or so. Hotel will also store bags free of charge after check-out if you've got a late departure time. Internet is free (wired) but there's a charge for local calls. Hotel overall is very clean and well set up, easy enough to find. Staff are friendly, and the ones I talked to spoke reasonable English. Shops and restaurants nearby, bit of a walk to shopping areas of Shinjuku but could be worse. If I'd paid the full rack rate for the room I probably wouldn't think it was such great value, but I got a good deal from hotels.com - I've stayed in a lot worse for a lot more money. Leia mais

We booked a double room for two people. But it is a bit too small for two. If you have a suitcase, there is not much room to move around. Also, there is only one chair for the desk. The room also looks a bit tired. It needs some freshening.

Though the standard double room we stayed in wasn't very big, it was still quite comfortable and well appointed. The location of this hotel is excellent - a five minute walk to Shinjuku station and numerous shopping and dining choices. Add in the reasonable price and you have a place you'll want to return to when visiting central Tokyo.

Very satisfied with the location, room. But hotels staff can be more friendly.

The location was perfect! After I tiring day, the hotel is only a 5 minute walk from the train station. Only bad thing was terrible pillows!! But I would definayely stay there again! Neighborhood is fantastic and is worthy of a day/night or 2 wandering around!

Fantastic location, just less than 10 minutes stroll from Shinjuku station if you come out from the main exit. By the way, Shinjuku is a big station, so it's essential to come out from the correct exit. There is a huge landmark of City Kitchen (or something along that line) at the cross junction. Room is small but cozy. If you are thinking of using […] wifi, you have to use your own router or hotspot as the room only provides wired LAN (Lan cable is provided). Hotel Staff are good and helpful. Toiletries are complete. Good: - The reception is very helpful BUT you must talk to them slowly 'cos NOT everyone can understand your accent and your machine gun talking speed. - Near to a main train station that takes you everywhere. - Airport limo bus stops here. Great location. Very near Shinjuku station. Alot of nearby restaurants and within walking distance to a lot of shops malls/shops. Nice hotel. Nice rooms but quite small. Very clean.

Hotel is small but conventient. It locates near metro station. Staffs are helpful and can speak English. There is even bus station to travel by bus to airport.

Super helpful and friend staffs. You get lounge access with the club rooms, so it is definitely worth it.

Great hotel and location, great staff. Room size good for Tokyo standards. Only complaint was bed hard, but that seems to be the norm in Japan, and because we like to sleep with window open and were on the street side, we had to endure the clanging bells from the safety barrier of the subway / train lines that crossed the street.

We stayed 7 nights in a Queen room. The room was an adequate size for us, although we had to keep our bags closed up so we could move around. For our visit to Tokyo, the Hotel Sunroute Plaza was ideal. It is a short distance from Shinjuku station which is a major hub for JR, Metro and other lines. The airport limousine bus picks up from the hotel, so this is an additional benefit if you have heavy cases. This hotel is perfectly located in shinjuku, very close to JR station and key shopping areas. One of the cool thing about this hotel is that airport bus has stop at this hotel. So after shopping in Tokyo with heavy luggages its easy to get on the bus located just outside the hotel and go to the airport.

The hotel location is very good and convenient. The room is quite small but acceptable becasue we use it only when we need a sleep. One bad thing is that we reserved a non-smoking room but they gave us a smoking room. The room smell quite bad. They told us that we could request for it but might not get it.

My wife and I went to to Tokyo this september. We enyoed our stay at he Sunroute Plaza Shinjuku hotel very much. The staff was very good, the location is excellent near the entrance to the Oedo line and Shinjuku station. We had the king size bed room which was large enough and very comfortable. The rooms are smaller than we are used to but not small […] enough to be uncomfortable. All in all it was a great stay and we would recommend this hotel to anybody staying in Tokyo. I lived in Tokyo for years and now visit a couple times a year. For the price, this hotel is the best option I've found. Excellent location. Quiet room. Decent service. Room was small but not out of line for Tokyo. I'll be back again.

People are extremely helpful and nice in every way. Rooms were kept clean and very comfy. Definitely going to stay here again the next time I come to Tokyo.

Just minutes' walk from the Shinjuku station, the location is unbeatable. A typical business hotel with small rooms, but the impeccable cleanliness more than makes up for the tiny room size. Our flight […] out of Tokyo was at midnight but the last limo bus from the hotel to the airport was at 5.45pm, a full 6 hours prior. We thought we'd take it anyway, but the reception would not have it! They insisted we did not have to do so and waste time at the airport, and instead proposed another bus stop 5 mins away that offer later timings of the limo bus. Hotel was very nice and Shinjuku is a great location. Only non-positive comment is that the room is small but they do a great job of using the space efficiently and with nice amenities. Highly recommend for those looking for a nice hotel on a budget in a great location.

Not a bad place this. It's well situated, close to Shinjuku Station with access to almost every line. There are plenty of places to eat out. Hotel food wasn't too good though. The rooms are very small and cramped for two people. However, it would perfectly suit one person. Efficient service as usual from the Japanese. Good location to the main attractions of Shinjuku. No frills to speak of but a nice and safe place to stay and enjoy your time in Tokyo.

Great location, 2 mins from the train/metro station, lots of shops, restaurants etc .. great staff and service (as you would expect in Japan). The standard room is a bit small but it is the case for all rooms in Tokyo. Overall fantastic experience and I will go back there for my next trip in Tokyo.

I went to Japan for the first time in this month. Not knowing too much about Tokyo, I decided on Shinjuku since the train station offers service to practically anywhere in Tokyo. Stayed in the Hotel for a total of 8 nights...was happy with Sunroute. The location was great. The hotel is one of the pick-up and drop off points of the Airport Limousine, no need to drag your luggage to the train station, nor to a bus stop. 5-10 mins walk to the main Shinjuku Station. Just right beside the hotel, there is a subway line that connects […] to the main Shinjuku Station. Even a Hakone, Mt. Fuji tour has a pick-up point in a hotel just across Sunroute. A ramen house, convenience store is just a minute from the entrance of the hotel. KFC, McDonald's (24 hrs), Yoshinoya (24 hrs), Kitchen is just around the corner. Reception/Concierge was very helpful. I was looking for a Japanese Nishikigoi Book, he helped me call all the bookstores around the area to inquire about the availability. Sorry I wasn't able to get his name. A Guest lounge is provided with four PCs and a printer for its Hotel Guesta. Having a wifi in the room would have been a great plus. Room a bit too small. Similar size to that of a inner state room of a cruise ship. But for the price...I shouldn't be complaining. We stayed for 8 nights with absolutely no complaints. Great location close to Shinjuku station and loads of restaurants nearby.

Great location. Short walk from the Shinjuku subway/JR station. If there is more then one in the party make sure to opt for the larger room size. Cosmetics, outlets and other facilities were fine. Ethernet connection in the room. TV only in Japanese.

Very nice hotel close to the Shinjuku station and very good value for the money. This was my second stay in hotel and I will stay there also in the future if the room prices stay on similar level as now. Highly recommended.

Can't beat the location of Sunroute Plaza Shinjuku! It's a stone's throw away from the Shinjuku main station and shopping malls (Takashimaya) is just a mere 5 min walk. The best part is the Airport Limo stops directly at this hotel so if you have a lot of luggage, it's very convenient.

The location of this hotel was great. close to everything, food, shopping, Station, and CitiBank ATM machine.
