HYATT house Dallas/Addison - Addison

My room was very clean and up to date with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and flat screen TV's. Very spacious and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was excellent as well.

Friendly staff. Room carpet and bathtub were rather outdated. Decent living room & kitchen size. Hotel is within walking distance to many restaurants.

me and my wife spent our first anniversary ( new years) here.we usually stay in a standard one room hotel but we thought we'd try this option. we did not regret it. we loved it! the breakfast was decent and open till a reasonable time since we wanted to sleep in. the surrounding area was great! I never knew Addison had so many great places to eat.

We only stayed one might but it was great. When we got there wasn't too happy because we were on the third floor but when we opened the door we were taken back. You would think it would be noisey since it was next to the air port and many resturants but wasnt the case at all. It had a full kitchen with everything you needed minus the food. Lol! Depending […] on how long you stay they even do your grocery shopping. Only down side was that the bathroom was extremely small. It is a nice Hotel. Easy to reach within Dallas area. The breakfast is good too. We will definitely come back and stay next time we are in the area.

Hotel was fine once I was given the ground floor room that I requested. Maid failed to make bed last day but I overlooked that. I like this hotel quite a bit.

The exterior and surrounding area were a little run down for my taste. The breakfast was great and the room itself was nicely appointed.

This hotel has been rennovated in June 2011 and it shows! Inside the spacious Studio King Suite the furnishings are comfortable, clean and very well presented. There is a 42" TV in the livingroom area with a 2 piece suite, 2 desks and 2 chairs. The kitchen is fully furnished with all the appliances that you would expect appart from a washing machine/dryer. […] The bedroom has a really comfortable king size bed with a 32" TV & walkin closet with bathroom. The hotel in general is really quiet with friendly helpful staff and a decent gym. It is really close to Beltline Rd where all the restraunts and bars are in Addison. The only bad thing against this hotel is that sometimes the internet slows down a bit, but other than that it is amazing value for money as it is actualy more like a 4 star hotel! I would reccomend this chain and will definately stay at it again as it is as good as the Grand Hyatt chain! Leia mais

Friendly staff, and property was well mantained. Rooms were renovated 6 months ago, and fantastic looking. Reasonalbly priced, and I would stay there again.

A great place to stay. Beds are comfortable breakfast was great and evening social also good. The area was also quiet.

The hotel room was as pictured but the exterior of the hotel made me not want to see the room. The exterior of this hotel is very unappealing. For that reason alone I would never stay there again.

The Hyatt Summerfield in Addison/Dallas TX was conveniently located to the family we were visiting in Dallas. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room/suite was perfect for travel with my wife and her mother. We each had our own room and bathroom within the suite. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. The sitting area was […] just large enough to entertain our family when they visited. The only problem that I could comment on are the bathrooms and the noise from the a/c. The bathrooms were serviceable but small-soon to be remodeled I believe. And there was a constant draining sound form the a/c in the king room we were in-annoying but we had ear plugs. The beds were very comfortable. Almost forgot about breakfast- nice fresh selection and one of the best that I have seen in a hotel. We would definitely stay at this hotel again. Exterior of hotel a bit run down but nothing shocking. However, the rooms have been recently updated and are excellent. there are some of us patrons in the world who are not controlled by using plastic to pay for everything, case in point: i use a debit card to reserve and pay for this room, it is not a typical bank card but one that you can control and reload with funds as needed. so the room is booked for the weekend using this card and after driving 500+ miles i am […] told that the same card may not be used for any additional charges that may be incurred during my stay. i was turned away from being able to stay there unless i had a valid credit card to use, and i even offered to let this company hold a thousand dollars cash as a security deposit in place of the card. they still turned me away. i realize that every business must have certain policies regarding this matter, however i think an exception could have been made, or perhaps the type of card i use shouldn't be allowed to book the reservation to begin with. i was forced to ask my date for the weekend for her credit card just to get the room, we had never met each other before this so you can imagine how uncomfortable this was to have to ask. getting past this point i enjoyed the weekend and the area and really had no problems. i would have given high marks if i had been treated better upon my arrival Leia mais

We spent two nights here and the service was great. The front desk was nice and accommodating> The breakfast was good and the breakfast room was not crowded. It was nice and clean. The room was nice and clean. Everything was renovated accept for the bathroom that included a toilet and tub. Overall it was a good stay. The only thing was someone broke […] glass in a parking space and we did not see it until we got out the car because it was night time. We reported to the front desk and they had maintenance come clean it. There were still a few pieces left when we got ready to leave the next morning, but our tires were okay. I would stay here again. Hotel was in the process of being renovated. We stayed in one of the renovated suites. The kitchen, dining room, living room and bedroom furniture were all fresh and new. The bathroom -- toilet, bath tub, and floor -- were old and not planned to be updated. They were very clean but felt a little out of sync with the new furnishings in the rest of the […] hotel. Hotel is currently undergoing renovations. Large sections of the parking lots have construction equipment and storage containers in them. Some noise during the day, but not noticeable at night or in the evening. Lots of great restaurants close by.

This hotel does not value customer service and has consideration for extenuating circumstances. I had a very unexpected death in my family. I reserved this hotel after finding out, because I had planned to drive from Austin to Dallas that afternoon. I called an hour later to cancel once I found out more details about the memorial service, and they would […] not cancel my reservation without a one night stay penalty. They said I was within cancellation and there was nothing they could do. I've been in the travel industry for several years, and I feel this is horrible customer service. I will never again stay at this hotel, and I will inform everyone I know about the way I was treated by Hyatt's front office staff. Leia mais

My stays here have always been pleasant. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, the rooms are quiet and comfortable, and the price is very reasonable. The free breakfast is very good. BBQs, basketball court, separate bedroom and living room, two TVs in the room, pool and hot tub, full kitchen. We had a great time shopping at the Galleria Mall too. Staff was very helpful in the few questions we had. Would stay here again.

Hotel is older and so needs upgrading and better maintenance - examples include poor condition of reconditioned casegoods, dust and very bad caulking around the shower, no waste baskets in the bathroom, and more. Also, the TV stations lineup is decades behind the times. I travel a lot, stay in budget and mid-priced hotels normally, and it's been over […] 10 years since I've seen such a limited # of channels and such a poor selection - VERY surprising in a Hyatt-branded property! Nice room for the price. Snacks and beer and wine in the afternoon. Very adequate breakfast the next morning. All included in the room price. Would stay again.

We stayed in a 1 bedroom suite with a sofa bed in the living room. We ere pleasantly surprised at how spacious the suite was and the presence of a usable kitchen. The facility was pleasantly quiet and apartment-like, with separate entrances to each suite. There was some wear in the bathroom and the sofa bed was not terribly comfortable but fine for […] young kids. Breakfast was hot and cold (eggs, sausage, cereal, fruit) and the coffee was good. The Hotel was great it is minutes from shopping at the Gallaria. The hotel is also close to food and entertainment on Belt Line Road. The weekend yields very little traffic in the area, as well as very few people. Very quiet! This is a must stay for relaxation.

I visited a friend at this hotel about 3-4 years ago so that's why I selected it . But now the stucco building looks very dirty (nasty), the grounds are not well manicured at all-I had to get some febreeze to spray the room-We switched rooms after the 1st night because there was a nasty looking stain on the carpet, a bug and the musty antiquey smell […] was too much. The parking is not room friendly-The second room was better-this now looks like a cheap MOTEL room and not what I expect from the HYATT. Leia mais

I continue to be impressed by the staff at this property. They are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious, quiet, and comfortable. I have stayed at higher priced "high rise" hotels in the area, and this one beats them hands-down. I will definitely stay here again.

Like most people, I like to get the most for my money. But I don't want to have to do a lot of research, or spend a lot of time comparison shopping. Once I found the Hyatt Summerfield Suites, I stopped looking. More like an executive apartment than a hotel room, it's a great place to stay. For a room this nice, I'd frankly expect to pay a lot more. […] The location (near the Addison airport) is in a nice, safe part of town. I can' t think of even one negative to mention. I travel to Addison several times per year on business. The Hyatt Summerfield Suites property is 3 blocks from my employer's offices, making it a very convenient location for me. I've stayed there several times, and I have always had a pleasant experience. Their prices are very reasonable, the rooms are spacious, quiet, and clean, the beds are comfortable, […] and the staff is friendly and helpful. I've stayed at "high rise" hotels in the area, that are also "high dollar," and my experience at the Summerfield has always been better. I highly recommend this location for anyone who needs a good night's sleep while staying in Addison. Leia mais

I travel considerably for business and this trip was for a few personal days off for my wife and me. We chose the hotel for the location and the Hyatt name. I am sure that when the property was build it was a nice facility but time has definitely taken its toll. The staff was great but the rooms were dark and the furniture old and coming apart. You […] could see were water from the bath tub had leaked down the side of the tub and caused mold to form all along the baseboard in the bathroom. Although the hotel is located in an upscale area you definitely felt like you were in a old beach resort in the Caribbean. Our first room was on the 3rd floor but there are no elevators. This room turned out to be very warm so we were given a room on the lower floor. This was much cooler but the design of the hotels puts the air conditioner units right out side your door. The pool was nice but was not maintained very well. The sign on the awning over the door to the office had the name Wyndom covered in what appeared to be spray paint. All in all it appeared that Hyatt had taken over the management of this property and was "milking" it for all they could. We had a 2 bedroom. Very comfortable. Great beds and space. Good location

I enjoyed myself very much. The room was very comfortable, the breakfast was great, and I just loved the area. Mark, the front desk clerk, was EXTREMELY helpful and nice. He went above and beyond to accomodate us. The suite I had offered more than I expected so that was a plus. I will definitely visit this hotel again.

This hotel wasn't what we expected when we pulled up to it however, the stay was great. It was in a great location surrounded by activity and restaurants. Seemed to be in a good part of town. Bed was very comfortable, room was large and even had a full kitchen and a living room which was a pleasant surprise.

We had 7 places to go and all were within 10 miles of this hotel. Lots of places to eat and be entertained near this location. The suite was completely furnished with kitchen and living space. Great to have frineds and family visit you durning your stay .

Very close to restaurants and very nice area. I usually stay here whenever I visit the Dallas area
