o hotel e muito bonito, mas o cassino fica lotado, o acesso ao hotel fica por dentro do cassino ,o que deixa tudo muito confuso,barulhento e com um cheiro de cigarro insuportavel.O hotel perde o glamour com estes aspectos negativos. Quanto ao quarto, e muito bom, com todas as comodidades . A vista para a fonte e o ponto alto.

Great hotel within walking distance to all the site on the Strip. Clean, friendly and a good solid breakfast provided. Would highly recommend.

Stayed for 3 days...and it was wonderful! Staff was very nice and helpful! If i come back to Vegas I would stay here without a doubt.

The overall resort is good and we have enjoyed our stay though it was not as closed to the main strip as advertised. However, the management seriously need to sort out the breakfast area because the seats allocated is insufficient for the no of guests and you can see guests having to bring the food back to the rooms. "Great place"
Right behind the Topicanna, this hotel is in an ideal location esp if you have a card. We loved the breakfast, the grounds, the room set up, everything.
Well Positioned just off the strip, 6 minutes from the MGM where you can get the monorail. Very friendly helpful staff and we enjoyed our stay. Breakfast is self serve using polystyrene plates includes serial and hot food all very acceptable. The rooms provide full cooking facilities if you want to avoid those huge size meals they serve in the US.

A quiet oasis that was a 5min walk to the Strip. After a long day at the smokey and neonlight-blasting Strip, we needed a peaceful and affordable place to rest our senses - no gambling, no smoke. Desert Rose Resort fit the bill and we had a pleasant 4-night stay at the property. Greg at reception was very warm and helpful during our check-in. The breakfast […] was chaotic though, so we had our morning fill elsewhere, or you can cook up something in the attached full-suite kitchen. We also had a slight problem one day with the lock but it was fixed quickly by the technician. Parking is free for hotel guests and the weekday beer/wine evenings at the lobby was a welcome touch. "Great value, shame about Vegas being a hole.."
Was just passing through for a flight connection, so wanted somewhere cheap but convenient to take a look at what vegas had to offer. The hotel was great,friendly staff, close to the airport, huge room and kitchen/lounge, only downside was it smelt a bit like a smoking room. Would recommend highly, very good value.
Very nice hotel for a family wanting a nice hotel close to the strip (walkable). I would recommend upgrading TV's. But a nice stay

Nice room, clean, lots of space and quiet. Family friendly. Near the strip. We enjoyed the fact that there are no slots in the Hotel. Nice pool but a bit crowded during peak hours. Breakfast is ok but very packed, needs improvement. Would stay again.

We had a really great experience in this hotel. The staff were very cheerful and helpful. It was lovely to come home to peace and quiet after the hectic pace on "the strip". The breakfast is adequate, not wonderful and there weren't enough tables for all the guests to sit and eat but other than that I couldn't fault it. "Nice hotel close to strip"
Room was recently remodeled. Pool area was nice. Decent breakfast. Only 2 blocks from the strip. If you want to ride the bus, only 1 block from a bus stop where you can buy day passes for cheaper than on the strip. Internet was slow.
"great place to take your family"
Great location, close to the strip. Nice large 2 bedroom units! They include a breakfast every morning down in the lobby area. My only complaint is that it is very busy and usually there was no place to sit down and eat. But we usually just opted to grab something once we headed out instead! I would definitely stay again!

We loved this place. Very comfortable with lots of room including full kitchen. Free breakfast was nice but standing room only sometimes. MGM is only a 5 minute stroll. Would definitely stay here again

THIS ALL CONDO RESORT WAS THE BEST VALUE IN VEGAS. A FULL BREAKFAST CAME WITH THE CONDO EVERY MORNING. WE JUST CROSSED A PARKING LOT TO GET TO THE MGM GRAND AND THE STRIP, HOW CONVIENT TO EVERYTHING.A FREE MANAGERS RECEPTING M-T(BEER,WINE,SODA AND PRETZELS)WE WILL BE BACK!

We are so pleased with our 3day stay at Desert Rose. The suite was a perfect retreat from the hustle,bussle of The Strip but only a block away. We loved it. The concierge was very helpful. A great place to stay!

Everything was excellent with only one exception. The breakfast was a bit of a let down. Not enough variation, just swapped between bacon to sausage and back to bacon from day to day. However don't let this put you off. The hotel is superb value for money with a great location. I would def go again.

Our two bedroom kitchen suite including two bathrooms was very spacious and well furnished. Everything was very good, including the breakfast. This is an excellent place to stay.

We stayed here for three days. Its a short walk up to the strip, and you can catch the Deuce bus that runs along the strip. You can get off and on for one price. Check out the price on the front of the bus, or check with the concierge, who is GREAT Cheri. Very helpful staff.

We stayed here for a conference with our 1-year old child and had a wonderful time. We weren't sure what to expect given the low price of the room, but our stay exceeded our expectations in every way. We had a 1-bedroom suite which was perfect for traveling with a child. The free breakfast and internet were very helpful amenities. The location of the […] hotel was close enough to Las Vegas Blvd that we could easily walk there to sight-see, but far enough away that we felt like we could actually leave the strip (which was great for a family traveling with a child). The hotel staff were amazing helpful and friendly. The room was also very quiet. We shared only 1 wall with another guest room and rarely heard any noise. The pool was very nice. We didn't go in it, but lots of families with older children used it frequently. this was one of the most pleasant stays we have ever had. the rooms were enormous, the staff so friendly and given that it was not a casino hotel it was a tranquil oasis close to the delightful mayhem of the las vegas strip. Apart from that they gave free beer and wine from 5.00 to 7.00 monday to thursday. brilliant.

"Excellent Value, Location, Service and Staff"
Stayed at the Desert Rose Resort for a week in August 2011. There is no resort fee at the Desert Rose Resort. The resort is 1.5 from S. Las Vegas Blvd. and 10 minutes drive from the McCarran International Airport. The apartment was spacious and clean, from the full kitchens, to the bed linen that was cool and crisp, to the dining area and bathroom. […] Included in the price was a daily complimentary buffet breakfast, a free morning edition of USA Today newspapers, free wireless internet and free parking, .A Managers’ Cocktail Reception is held every Monday through Thursday from 5pm to 7pm with beer, wine, soft drinks and light snacks. The pool and spa area where guests can further relax was clean and inviting and a barbeque area where individuals can BBQ poolside is also available. I enjoyed the air-conditioned gym; the machines all worked. I was able to do my laundry in building’s laundry room with an iron and ironing board provided in the suite. The staff was always helpful when approached. The concierge is quite knowledgeable about what’s happening around Las Vegas, and offered up free tickets to see the Nathan Burton show. The Desert Rose Resort was pleasant, relaxing and well worth the price overall and I would definitely recommend the resort to individual visiting Las Vegas. Leia mais
"Very close to the Strip"
Excellent location just a 5 min walk from the strip meaning less manic and more relaxing for less cost. The apartment was of a very generous size and extremely well kitted out. Breakfast was included with snacks and drinks, including alcoholic drinks, provided late afternoon. We would certainly recommend this place with no hesitation whatsoever.

Very nice place to stay in Las Vegas and perfect for us as a family with kids. Worth pointing out that this is a 'Resort' and not a luxury hotel. Having said that we were really happy - genuine and helpful staff. Breakfast is good if fairly basic but gets very busy and not really sufficient tables to sit at peak time. We simply went to our room with […] it. There is a nice pool area (the spa jets weren't working during our stay). Also a helpful concierge who can advice / book shows and trips for you. Location was good - away from the noise of the strip. Spacious, well equipped, clean room close to the strip, but away from the worst (or the best) of the frantic strip. It was only a couple of minutes walk to the MGM Grand.

Loacted about 5 minutes from the strip the suites are very nice. The swimming pool can get very busy and the breakfast is poor. However, this resort did offer great value for money and is in a convenietn location for the strip. Ample parking and very helpful and friendly staff.

The buffet breakfast was adequate and was included in the cost, which was an added bonus. The resort is as convenient as any place could be being off the strip. I have stayed there in years past and it is starting to show some wear and tear. The carpeting is worn and stained, the TV's are antiquated and the furnishing are outdated. If you are looking for an inexpensive suite with a full kitchen this will foot the bill. The location was convenient to the strip and the gates community was nice. Breakfast was good and the room was clean. The hotel needs some new paint...carpet...and decorations but the at home kitchen, dinning room, living room and comfortable bed and pull out couch […] was all we needed.
