Hotel muito bem localizado, fica em frente da estação Centraal e realmente perto de tudo, fizemos tudo a pé. Não tem café da manhã, mas na redondeza tem vários locais para comer. O quarto e a cama são muito pequenos, mas o banheiro tem um tamanho bom.

O Hotel é novo e fica numa região próxima a alguns pontos turisticos como Anne Frank e Praça Dam. O quarto é normal com uma boa cama e bem limpo, o banheiro é todo de vidro, parece um aquário o que é desconfortável para uma viajem a 2, pois não possui trava, se escuta tudo e boa parte do vidro não é fosca. O hotel esta ligado com o restaurante art dulac café, um lugar com staff péssimo, onde não possue cardápio em ingles. Um dos serviços qe hotel oferece é uma taxa fixa de táxi onde você paga na recepção do hotel e ele te da um cartão que você tem que apresentar ao táxista e pode usar o táxi para ir para o aeroporto, o serviço é péssimo o taxista não queria nos levar pois recusamos a pagar extras por causa das malas, o que o hotel informou que já estava fechado no valor, ele não sabia que já estava pago, uma confusão. Não USE esse serviço.

The cleanliness, comfort and location of this hotel was good. Only a short walk from main railway station. All staff we dealt with were excellent. There wern't any comfy seats to sit in the lounge, but the surroundings were practical. Traffic noise to the front was a bit of an issue, but didn't interupt our sleep. "Comfortable modern hotel"
We chose this hotel because it was quite convenient for both the station and the town centre. It has a nice location on the bank of the canal, just a short walk from the pleasant historic town centre along the canal and over a footbridge.

The room we had was quite small compared to a similar priced hotel in Holland. We thought it'd be a bit larger as Alkmaar is a small city/town. Also, the hotel receptionist misinformed us about the public parking rates outside the hotel. The parking cost was actually about half of what he told us. "Great location"
The hotel is in a great location - very close to everything. Very good advice at the counter as to what to see and do. The only negative thing is the breakfast - EUR 15.00 very pricey. If you only want a coffee, you have to sit in a separate section than who you may be travelling with, if they want the breakfast. "close to old town - hard to find if driving"
We appreciated the location of the hotel, within a 5 minute walk of the old town pedistrian area of Alkmaar and lots of restaurant choices. However, it is a difficult hotel to get to - it's one of those places that you can't get to from here. Lots of one way streets, and some construction, and canals. If you're driving, as we were touring, take a city […] map that encompasses the entire area; don't rely on the limited one on the website. There is parking which is why we chose this hotel. "Amrath Hotel Perfect location"
Hotel has only aircondition on fourth floor and some rooms on second floor have balconies, our room was on third! and was uncomfortably hot even with a fan that is why I am hesitating to recommend this hotel. All staff ,bar one where helpfull and friendly. It's a shame that it is allowed to smoke even on the "no smoking wing" often our room "reeked" […] of smoke, the hotel has smoking rooms Leia mais

The hotel was very good and in particular the staff, from the General Manager down who were extremely friendly and seemed to care about the purpose of your trip. I would recommend this hotel to peaople who were thinking of Staying in Alkmaar.
The hotel was very good, friendly staff and very good service. The one small minus point for me was the breakfast which I thought could have been a bit better quality
"Lovely Hotel in Scenic Nederlands Picture Postcard town"
Lovely, cosey hotel, great rooms, tea/Coffee making facilities in the rooms. Fab bathroom with huge bath and shower to relax in. Rooms spotless. Very relaxing and enjoyable. Great value for the price. They also have smoking rooms. Breakfast is not included. Town center a few minutes walk away and numerous options for breakfast :)

Bodde en natt på Amrath Hotel Alkmaar vid genomresa. Funkade bra, inget att klaga på. Valde att parkera på gatan utanför hotellet över natten för 2 EUR istället för på hotellets parkering för 15 EUR. Vi åkte tidigt och provade därför inte frukosten.

Prijs kwaliteitverhouding is goed, de vriendelijkheid en service van het personeel was uitstekend.
1/ we hebben een nacht extra geboekt dus 29 april en 30 april maar dat woord een dubbele boeking. 2/ kom je in je kamer voor de tweede nacht is er niets in je kamer gedaan dus maar weer naar de receptie voor schoone handoeken. 3/ en nu maar afwachten wat voor rekening we krijgen twee of vier nachten
EEN PRIMA HOTEL voor ons doel, nl deelname aan de ARTFAIR ALKMAAR. Prettig dat er een besloten parkeerplaats bij was. Jammer alleen dat de Wifi uitbesteed was zodat de deskmanager ons niet kon helpen toen we een probleem hadden. Heerlijk ruim plaats voor alle toiletspullen in de badkamer. Er zijn hotels waar je je reisnecessaire wegens ruimtegebrek […] op de grond moet leggen. Ook werden de handdoeken tenminste niet weggehaald terwijl jij ze nog wilde gebruiken. Leia mais

Afgelopen weekend zijn we in het Amrath Hotel in Alkmaar verbleven, wat een prachtig hotel! Bedden sliepen nog beter dan onze eigen bedden en ook de kamer en badkamer zagen er prachtig uit! Service was ook erg netjes. Ook lag het hotel echt aan de rand van de binnenstad, dus in nog geen 10 minuten stond je in het centrum! En het centrum is echt prachtig […] en leuke winkels ook! Als wij weer eens naar Alkmaar moeten gaan we zeker weer naar het Amrath Hotel! Leia mais
