Literally minutes from JFK with an extremely efficient shuttle service to and from the airport, this hotel perfectly met our needs. While the room had no view, we didn't expect or need one. Small but extremely comfortable and well-appointed, there was no airport noise at any time. The bed and bedding were luxurious and the bathroom amenities were topnotch. All the hotel personnel, from front desk to restaurant to housekeeping, were friendly, competent and aimed to please. The next time we need a quick overnight stay in Brooklyn, we're staying at the Hilton Garden Inn.

We enjoyed our stay very much, but if you don't know the New York streets, you'll have a hard time navigating to the hotel. I would recommend calling ahead for directions if you are planning on renting a car. Overall the hotel was clean, had a nice breakfast buffet and was very quiet.

The location of the hotel to airport and other surrounding attractions suitable. The room was very small but did in fact have the noted items and services. Small liquor bar and dining area. Wait service for breakfast was unacceptable. You were forced, in most cases, to wait on your self for breakfast! Choices for buffet breakfast was very good and price fair and reasonable.

The service was excellent and the staff was very friendly. The only problem that I had was the door in the back opened without a hotel key and was never locked while I was there!

I would recommend this hotel for older couples who dont want to be within the hustle and bustle of everyday New York city life. It was a very nice hotel with very friendly staff I did have a problem with one of the girls who obviously didnt want to be at work that day and she was very snappy wth me which at my first night in a hotel wasnt very welcoming. The rest of the staff made up for this complaint as they were very helpful and very friendly. I liked the idea that I could print for free as this could give the opportunity for me to print maps from the internet as to go for an explore and find my way around the town ever though there wasnt alot there.

Needed a hotel to stay in after the late flight from UK. Hotel easy to get to and provided just what was needed. A clean quiet room to allow me and my family to then have a nice early start and continue our holiday

I arrived at JFK at 9pm after a long flight following a full days work. Security had been something of a hassle and it was relief indeed that within 10 minutes of clearinfg the airport I was able to put my feet up in a comfortable room with all I needed. The staff were extremely helpful and I was able to unwind. But the best was still to come, dispite the jet lag - the breakfast was a tour de force and the staff made it very relaxed. I had a 5 hour drive to come and I started it refreshed - you can't ask more than that.

Hotel very close to airport. Shuttle service is a little confusing and on the phone, not very friendly, but everythings worked out. Hotel is high quality.. very new, clean and confortable.

Room was spotless, smoke-free and quiet. Furnishings were all new and well-kept. The entire hotel felt smoke-free. The restaurant staff were super-friendly and accomodating. The breakfast could not be surpassed by any pancake house. The dinner was comparable to that of a cruise ship. The only sore point was the check-in staff were not friendly and helpful.

It is best for arriving passengers to hire a cab to this hotel versus wating for the shuttle. After a 45 minute wait for the shuttle, we paid one of the other hotel shuttle drivers to take us to the hotel. There are no restaurants near the hotel, but the food at the hotel was acceptable. There is a profound and persistent smell of sewerage outside of the hotel. The staff were friendly and accommodating.

We stayed here while dropping off a traveler for a European trip out of JFK. The hotel location was extremely convenient, and the facility is in great shape, and well-run.

Because of flight delays we did not arive at JFK until 5:15 am. I called about the shuttle and try told me that the shuttle would not be sent out until 6-6:30 so i had to pay $25 for a cab to go 1 mile. Also I was led to believe that there would be a continental breakfast available and there was but you had to pay for everything even coffee..

We received great and speedy check-in service. Also, we could not figure out how to work the air conditioning unit(there was a thermostat on the wall and it did not pertain to our air unit) and they had someone down to help us immediately. We would have like to had breakfast but we had to leave to catch a plane before it opened. However, there was coffee in the lobby and we were also able to make coffee in the room.

We just wanted to get away for the night,so it did the job. The room was very nice. I had two problems: there was hair in the bath drain--pretty gross. And my husband is allergic to down so when we called the desk to find out what the blanket was made of they connected us to housekeeping. Housekeeping did not answer and did not return our call. The blanket turned out to be cotton but our call should have been addressed.

The hotel was very nice and the bed was extremely comfortable. When booking the reservation, I requested a room with two double beds. When we check in I was told there were no rooms available with double beds. When we got to the room, we called the front desk to request an extra towel and we waited for a half an hour and still did not receive the towel. We called a second time and waited another half hour for the towel to be brought up ot us. Overall, the hotel was very nice but the service was not great.

This hotel and it's staff was ridiculous! We called at 7am when our flight got into JFK and they said they had no space to hold our luggage when over the phone when I made the reservation they said there was plenty of space for that! Then we call at around 5pm to confirm our reservations since we were going to have a later check in and they said everything was good and that our rooms were awaiting us! Only when we get to the hotel at midnight is when they tell us that out rooms were sold to other guests and that we would have to stay at their sister hotel! Bad procedures & policies. Not to mention the service! The manager hangs up the phone while we are still talking to him, is completely rude to us and basically tells us we don't have much of a choice but to go to the other hotel! Don't recommend you stay here...they could do the same to you!

The hotel room was clean and comfortable. The resturant inside the hotel has a great selection on the menue. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. We were very pleased with hotel our stay.

I had to beg hotel staff to clean our room. I had been there two days before maid service finally got around to cleaning the room. I had been requesting maid service all day, but no one showed up until late in the afternoon.
