We had a great time in Memphis. We loved how well located it is, and the room and service were just great.

The location of this hotel is great - close enough to Beale Street to walk, far enough away to get a good night's sleep. I got a room with a balcony that overlooked the park with trolleys running in front of the hotel. Awesome breakfast included in the price, and free wireless internet access. I highly recommend this hotel!

We only stayed one night but the room was spacious and clean. It was very enjoyable. Close to Beale Street (about 6 blocks)

Hotel was wonderful. Close to everything. Hotel staff were very polite and helpful. Our motorcyle broke down and had to stay two extra nights. Staff treated us like family. When we left, I forgot my charger for my cell phone. I called them a week later when I realized where I left it. They mailed it back to me the next day. They made our trip one of our most memorable. Would definitely recommend.

We were real close to Beale street and the riverfront so that was great. Nice rooms, good breakfast, staff were very good. I would stay here again.

Pros - 1) The downtown location of the hotel is a pleasure, but as already noted in another review, make sure your room is on the river side of the building. 2) The self serve breakfast includes ample options for a family and is well stocked and maintained. 3) General demeanor of the staff is courteous and polite. Cons - 1) Do NOT accept room 208. I asked for the river side based on another review and was placed in room 208 which sits directly above the trolley station. Every 5 minutes from 6 am to 11 pm we were disrupted by the sound of rolling thunder as the trolley rocked by this room. I'm a very heavy sleeper and had to cover my head with pillows to avoid the noise through the late night and early morning hours. 2) It's hit or miss with the level of staff competence. The young man who checked me didn't provide the basic information I heard the other clerk provide to a woman checking in at the same. This included neglected information about rental car parking options, the daily breakfast and a review of cost and charges. I specifically asked to be placed on the river side of the building during my reservation and again on my arrival but was handed the keys to the nefarious room 208 with no apology or statement regarding availability. I was explained this when I returned to the counter later with more questions to be answered. 3) No support for the Business Center. The staff couldn't open one of the computers because of a password lock. The other computer couldn't print my boarding passes for the next day flight. I had to go to the hotel next door to complete my transactions. To the credit of the compentan clerk, he called the hotel and told them I was coming over. 4) Self park was the same cost as valet park. I was told valet parking placed the vehicle somewhere that required 5 minutes to retrieve yet self park is within sight. Why would I use valet? 5) I left articles in a drawer and when I called for the hotel to check I was told they would call me back. After

We went to Memphis on a motorcycle trip. I picked this hotel because it was close to Beale Street. When we arrived we had problems with one of the motorcycles and had to stay two extra days. Hotel staff was terrific, friendly, courteous, helpful. In fact, this was one of the most pleasurable trips we have taken. Everyone was friendly. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The staff went out of there way to insure a pleasant stay. Within walking distance of a number of restaurants. Stay was four days and still had plenty of unused options for eating. Not much night life for those with families but can see a wonderful time for childless couples and singles. Would definitely come back.

Our room, overlooking a courtyard with our own private balcony was very nice. But when we booked the room, it said we had booked a king suit with a balcony and when we arrived, the room had two queen beds instead. The hotel is half a mile from Beale Street and Peabody Place, which isn't too bad of a walk either. Valet car parking is only $12.00 a night, which is a steal, considering other hotels in the city charge around $25.00 a night. Breakfast was both a hot and cold breakfast and was filling. My only complaint was the beds. They weren't comfortable and our heads sunk right through the pillows, hitting the mattress.

Great room, good view of park, breakfast was GREAT if you got up early. No problems with stay at all, had to walk about 3 blocks to eat supper, other than that everything was nice.

This hotel was very conviently located to riverfront and trolley. The only problem was that the bathroom tiles had mold on them.

The room was spacious and comfortable, very well located for all we wanted to do in Memphis.

The rooms were lovely and it was a short (though sometimes scary) walk to the activity on Beale Street. It was difficult to locate the Hotel entrance to get checked in intialy. A friend who was born and raised there (43 years) had no idea the facility was there as it's tucked inbetween parking garages and other buildings. The biggest disappointment was the customer service. There was no one to help with the bags when we arrived (FRIDAY NIGHT). There was no one to help with them when we left. We were not greeted kindly coming or going. During breakfast when a number of people were standing in line for coffee (empty)and no service staff had acknowledged the situation I sought one out to let them know (kindly) that the coffee was empty. She was very rude and said it would get there when it got there and was being made.

Hotel is an easy walk to many sights: Beale St., Gibson factory, Civil Rights Museum, Mud City, restaurants, & van to Sun Studio or Graceland. Full breakfast included with waffles, eggs, cereal, yogurt. Room had comfortable bed but oddly shaped suite - ok for 2 but got in each other's way a bit. Ordered our car from the valet the night before for our early flight. But no car in the morning. And no valet answered the phone. Had to rattle the hotel staff to find someone.

The only problem was parking. You had a choice of either parking your car for a fee or having a valet park the car for the same fee. We had valet park car as we couldn't find any place to park. so if you needed your car you had to have the valet get your car and repark car when you came back.

The hotel was nice and convenient as far as location to downtown, i.e. beale street, autozone park and fedex forum. Also, right on the trolley line. The customer service was poor, the valet parking lost my keys and they took a long time, about 20 minutes at least, to get my vehicle on the few occasions i needed it. The hotel was nice and breakfast was good but the employees were rude. I will stay at a different hotel next time I go to memphis.

Great location, very easy walk to Beale Street and other attractions. Very easy to use the trolly system and it came right to the front door. All of the staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. The breakfast was very good and nice to have available right away in the morning. Would definately stay there again!

Our room was very nice. We got an upgrade because our room was not ready at check-in. The only negative was the fold out sofa bed. Our child did not find it to be very comfortable, thank goodness we had a king bed. Breakfast was very good. It was so nice to be able to get breakfast at the hotel instead of trying to drive and find a place to eat. We loved the proximity to everything downtown. Our car never left the parking lot.

The customer service we experienced at this hotel was absolutely terrible. When attempting to check in, they indicated they did not have my reservation. I was told to check with the hotel next door. After finding my confirmation number, they grudgingly assigned us a room. The desk clerks, breakfast attendants, and room attendants were all rude and acted as if you were putting them out when requesting even the least amount of assistance. The rooms were clean yet very cramped. For the money, I would definitely recommend staying elsewhere and driving downtown if you desire to visit there.

Convenient, short walk to Beale Street and overall nice place.

The hotel is located just across the street from Court Square in the heart of downtown Memphis. While the Main Street trolley stops just outside the front door, Beale Street, the Fedex Forum, and many other attractions are just a short stroll away. The hotel itself is clean and comfortable and the hotel staff is friendly and professional. The full breakfast served each morning was a surprise. Great place to stay when visiting Memphis.

I loved this hotel, it was very clean, neat, and it exceeded my expectations. The Staff was very helpful, and the valet parking. I will be staying at Springhill whenever I go to "Beale Street"!

We have stayed at The Springhill before and were pleased it is still clean and quiet. Grab a room with a balcony, it's great for people watching, day or night, the little park across the trolley tracks is always busy. If you are partying on Beale St., grab a carriage and they take you right to the door. The staff are all helpful and try hard to please.

Hotel was in a great location - will definitely stay there again. Staff was so friendly!

A good hotel if you don't mind getting a 10.00 charge for parking slipped under your door in the morning with no warning and sleeping on clean but stained bedding. Location is great,hotel personnel are very friendly,breakfast was good. Noise level was good.

The hotel staff we interacted with were very pleasant and very helpful. The morning's continental breakfast was very good. The room itself was good, not great. Location wise Springhill Suites is very convenient.

The Hotel staff was the friendliest staff we have ever had. We have visited many hotels in our travels and everyone is always walking on pins and needles to try to empress you. Not here everyone was layed back, friendly and professional. They offer a large breakfast buffer for FREE, Yea that is right Free! There was baccon, Eggs, sasuage you name it they had it! The only problem we had was that we were given a king room but our bed was a Queen. There was no way that bed was a king! All in All it was a great hotel for the price.

Our room overlooked the park and tram.It was beautiful to look out at night and see the carriage rides go thru the park.We were close enough to walk wherever we needed to go,Autozone Park,Fedx Forum and Beale Street and Peabody.We were afraid the tram would be noisey but you could not hear it in our room unless they blowed the horn.Our room was cozy with the white spread on the bed instead of tradtional matching rough hotel comforters.We also had a sofa in our roon that was nice to sit and relax.

We found this hotel at the last minute, and we were glad that we found it. My husband and I took our two teens and two other teens to Memphis for vacation. There are very few hotels that accomodate 6 people and very few hotels that offer queen size mattresses. We give it a "10" for everything: price, location, cleanliness, safety, comfort. We will definitely stay here when we return to Memphis in October, and are referring to all of our friends.

The people were super sweet...our room was amazing! Comfy, clean, big, quiet...simply perfect! We will be back...the only bad thing was one of the two elevators went out and we were on the 7th floor!

Front desk staff was generally helpful except when asked for general directions to a museum, reply was so what robotish and without a smile smiles help and work, especially after driving 10 hours

This where I stay when I am in Memphis. Because of location and comfort. Very comfordable and clean.

I was impressed! This hotel was comfortable, cozy, romantic, yet family-friendly, great staff, great price, everything. I will be returning here again. The happy hour in the evening was a nice treat after 11 hours in the car, and the ducks in the pool were sweet. The made-to-order breakfast was good, but the line was long. I recommend to skip the made-to-order breakfast and just go for the buffet, which was excellent in its own right. The only con is that the hotel isn't in downtown for tourists, but it's worth it. And for travelers, there is no con. It's been a long time since I was this impressed.

The suite was roomy enough for 2 adults and 3 kids. Pool was nice, staff helpful. Blankets were thin though. Trolley stop right outside hotel.

The hotel location was great. In walking distance of most attractions, if not right on the trolly line. Queen beds were very comfortable, slept like a baby. Felt I did not have enough privacy with the open vanity area. Was distracting at night to get up to use the bathroom then come out to wash my hands. Halls were quiet, comp. breakfast was very nice. Valet was very friendly and helpful with helping us get around town. Hotel staff a bit slow when we requested extra towels during evening hours. Had to end up going to get our own. Overall good experience. Will return again and have already recommended the hotel to others. Would be nice if the hoetl had printed directions from the hotel to the major attractions in the area. Loved Memphis, can't wait to get back!!

the hotel was close to beale which was nice they even had a shuttle nearby i enjoyed the stay very much & the hot breakfast was good also

I was pleasently surprised by how roomy the rooms were and the large breakfast they offered. The staff has always greated me with a smile and kind word. Parking is is a little tight and general parking is next door. But this inconvieience is small.

Spring Hill Suites had a great complementary breakfast and was very convieniently located for visiting downtown Memphis, TN. The facility was very clean, secure, and well managed. We found the staff to be very professional and helpful. Auto parking was convenient and reasonable although the advertised $5 parking fee turned out to be $10/night. This may have been because our stay overlapped the Memorial Day weekend. One annoyance was that the facility had individual room air conditioning units (rather than central air. In our room the air conditioner was in close proximity to the our bed. Fan noise inerfered with getting a quality night's rest.

Well worth the money. Nice location and friendly staff.
