O hotel praticamente não tem nada ao redor, só um 7/11 que quebra bem o galho. Porém é muito rápido se deslocar de lá até qualquer lugar de carro; exceto Nova Iorque - pegue o trem. O quarto é limpo e confortável e os funcionários são educados. O café da manhã é simples, mas resolve. Pelo valor, vale a pena com certeza.

Very nice. Very clean. Very comfortable. Very nice bar/lounge on first floor. Very sorry rooftop lounge not open in winter, no good reason for that. And suggest that bathrooms ALWAYS have real closing doors between bathroom and bedroom, with sound isolation as well as visual, unlike the sliding door in our room.

What a bad night. Room was 75degees. No aircon. All ivht very noisy tv ext door. Even the fan was broken. Checked out through an unpleasant an uncaring staff. We left at 5am for a long drive home to a real bed

"Nice room, great location but too warm"
Room was nice and clean. I just have two complaints. The room was very warm. I called to complain and was told that it was November and they shut off the air conditioning and turn the heat on. They said to open the window. We did but too much traffic noise! We adjusted the thermostat down but our room was 80 degrees the whole week, even though it was […] 40 degrees outside. Ugh! My second complaint is that we asked for a 4:30 a.m. wakeup call but they never called. Fortunately we set the phone to go off as a backup so we did not miss our appointment. Nice lobby - only 2 elevators - very slow, corridors very narrow and dark, stained hallway carpets.The room over looks an airshaft, the bathroom was the smallest I have ever seen and no blinds on the bathroom window, the heat did not work until the whole building heat went on - the room was very cold until after 9pm and i complained but there was nothing […] they could do. I do not like all the commercial things on the table in the room. Everything is extremely expensive outrageously!!! Small refrigerator was filled with some drinks we were never going to drink! They were also very expensive, too! I know the hotel needs to make money but it was too much!! The bathroom doorsill title was broken! And the worst thing was […] that for the things that I was not going to use, they charged me $25 per day! "Good Hotel and Location but..."
The room service or the burger bar next to this hotel could use some improvement. The food was delicious but took 30 minutes for pickup after we called 30 minutes before. So in total, the order took 1 hour.

The walls between rooms are so thin, that the conversation from the adjacent room kept me up at night so I had to put earplugs in to get a little bit of rest. The service was poor. No coffee in the room. The quality of coffee and creamer was very poor. For this expensive of a room, I thought they could afford a better coffee and creamer. The staff were […] unhelpful. "Fantastic, fantastic hotel with great staff"
A bit further away from the hustle of mid-town, but that is a plus in my book. Much more residential, reasonable room service costs and above and beyond amenities. HUGE room for NYC and perfect for families or business. Only complaint...which goes with any NYC hotel stay is price for wireless or on-site computers. "Great Hotel For Business or Personal Stay"
I was pleasantly surprised at condition, comfort and location of this hotel. Highly recommend it (hope I'm not locking myself out of future visits with this review).

Very friendly and helpful staff right from the start. Room was spacious (except for the bathroom, which was a little bit smaller than I expected) and comfortable. We had mentioned at check-in that we were there on a break for our anniversary, and when we arrived back at the hotel later that evening there was a bottle of wine and chocolates in our room, […] with a signed note from the manager congratulating us. Very nice touch! Location is a 10 minute walk from Times Sq, and it's in a lovely quiet street. Only qualm was that the rooftop bar was closed the both times we tried to go up for a drink. Very satisfied with position, comfort and overall standard of hotel. One minor concern. We were woken at midnight by someone coming into our room having used a room card key, and rapidly leaving. Hotel reception phoned soon after to ask if we had requested any shampoo service, so there was obviously a mix up with rooms, but a bit disconcerting to say […] the least. Checking into this hotel was very easy and our rooms were clean and larger than most NY hotels. Other than that I would not recommend the hotel. We booked this hotel for the rooftop bar which was understaffed, unhelpful, and ran out of almost every item on the bar menu. They also obviously don't linen closets as the maid carts were in the halls on every […] level and hard to get around with such narrow hallways. "The Affinia Shelburne - tiny gem"
This hotel was located within walking distance to the subway and has many little shops/eateries nearby to enjoy. The room itself was very small as well as the bed. The shower had a very intense pressure that couldn't be adjusted and was uncomfortable to stay in too long. The hotel restaurant "Rare" was superb. I had the best cheeseburger I have ever […] eaten in my life - The M & M Burger. A must have, no matter how much the cost!!! I will definitely eat here on my next visit to New York. The staff was very helpful with everything and made our stay enjoyable. Overall, as long as you don't mind a cozy room, the Affinia Shelburne is a tiny gem in the big city. I really liked this hotel and will stay there again. The decor is very stylish, and the service was good, but the room was superb. I don't know if all the rooms are like this, but I had a two-room suite - a living room/office and a separate bedroom. The accommodations were very good and so large. "a week inNew York"
Great hotel close to everything but just out of the bulk of the traffic and hence relatively peaceful. Had a suite which was fantastic - looked straight out at the Empire State Building . Rooftop bar was good but expensive. I think it has closed for the season now. I am definitely going to use the hotel again.

"Good stay"
Second time at the Shelburne. Nice hotel...particularly like the decent sized rooms by Manhattan standards.
Definitively good value for money in Manhatten. Rooms are big and very clean.
We asked spevifically for a driver with an infant car seat. When the driver met us at the airport it was with a carsest for us to install. The second time a driver was called he came with a broken uninstalled seat. The doorman helped us but missed 45 minutes of the yankee game. After receiving the okay for a late check out we came back early to find […] our key still worked but the room had been cleaned and someone elses bags were in the room. My bags had been tagged and stored. For all of this inconvenience they gave us cab fare to the airport. No apology. Leia mais

The Shelburne is a very nice hotel in a great east side location. The bathrooms are upscale and the beds comfortable. I would stay here again.

We were delighted with the hotel, which is conveniently located in a nice neighborhood. Our first pleasant surprise is that we were upgraded to a suite. The suite itself was very well appointed: a great bed and wonderfully comfortable sheets and pillows. We opted for the free yoga mat and buckwheat pillow, and were surprised to get a free NY Times on […] Sunday. The concierge was great. There's terrific espresso at a tiny shop just doors away. The only negative is that the windows were filthy -- not surprising in the city. The bathroom is also really tiny. But the kitchenette was spacious, as was the living room, and the bedroom large enough for our needs.
