Excelente hotel para casais jovens que não pretendem gastar mt dinheiro com a estadia mas que se preocupam com a boa limpeza, bom serviço e acomodações acolhedoras! Adoramos o hotel, excelente localização, calmo e limpo. Staff muito atencioso e prestável! Adoramos. não tivemos problemas com nada. Mt bom mesmo.

O hotel tem umas excelentes instalações e todos os quartos têm uma vista fantástica sobre Manhattan. O serviço de bar e restaurante deixa muito a desejar assim como o atendimento de algum staff. Todo o staff é muito simpático, mas também descontraído demais em relação as suas responsabilidades. O hotel tem um serviço shuttle de hora a hora do hotel para Manhattan e vice-versa. O pequeno-almoço é bom.

"Great stay!!"
Loved this hotel! Room was very nice and clean. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They even gave me a complimentary upgrade when they saw that I was my birthday (I was in the city celebrating with friends). I would definitely recommend this hotel to others. "Affinia Dumont"
Comfortable beds, large room size, full bar offerings in the room at reasonable prices. Walk to many attractions and they are always helpful with hailing a cab. Downsides are you have to pay for the wifi internet. Decent gym facilities and a full service spa downstairs. Def stay here again.
"Great Stay - wifi in May"
I love this hotel and the neighborhood is a nice combination of central but also having lots of options for dining nearby. My only complaint is that it didn't have wifi which was a major inconvenience since I had brought my iPad, but the front door staff said it was coming in May.
We had a very nice stay, the room was large for NYC and the staff was friendly and helpful. We did read some negative comments about the shampoo and products in the room and would have to agree that the smell was not appealing and I smelled the "wet dog" odor that others had also noticed after using the shampoo and conditioner.
We had a great stay and we would definitely stay again. Very spacious. Clean room. Quick service.

The Affinia Dumont is a great hotel to stay at as it is well kept and very clean. The beds are extremely comfortable, as are the pillows. We were on the 14th floor and had great views as well. The only downfall to our stay was the constant fire/police sirens starting at roughly 4am, which was not the fault of the hotel. Have stayed in very expensive hotels in NY, and this one tops all in convenience, price and general likeability! Gym/spa is an added plus!

Our room was very spacious and comfortable. I think it was bigger, and with the kitchenette included provided much better value than most NYC hotels. "Good deal, large rooms"
Got a great rate from hotels.com and so even though it wasn't exactly in the location I wanted, it was walking distance to lots of shops, restaurants, etc. A safe area and not too far to walk to Macy's, Empire State Bldg, Grand Central, the UN, etc. Second and Third Avenues are full of restaurants, and the hotel has a quite decent restaurant attached […] to it, the Barking Dog. There is no wifi and the ethernet connection runs $13.95/day. For a room with a view, ask for a room above the 20th floor (37 floors). Kitchenette was clean, bed was fine (not exceptional) with crisp clean sheets, lighting was good. Heating was a bit difficult to regulate and windows were hard to open. Ler mais

Loved the place. Great room, great staff, and an awesome location. Incredible value for a Manhattan hotel of this quality and location.

"Don't Waste Your Money Here!"
This hotel was beautiful and well located, but I've never been someplace that seemed to relish the opportunity to gouge their patrons @ every turn. On hotels.com, it says that it's pet friendly and that parking is included. When I arrived there @ 1am, exhausted from a 12 hr drive, they informed me that I'd be charged an arm and a leg to keep my dog […] there for the night, as well as the remaining arm and leg to park my car there. When I went up to my room, there were no phonebooks or menus for local places to eat, but price tags on EVERYTHING. No complimentary internet, and the concierge was totally useless. When I called in to ask for directions, I received a series of giggles and "I dunno!"s, which I could have dismissed as sheer ignorance if it hadn't been her response to every single question i asked during my stay there. What places might be open for delivery at that hour, what time checkout was, where the valet was taking my car, etc. I get that it's NYC and it's expensive but I've been to this city a million times and have never had such a negative experience before. "Close to Empire State Bldg, Hard Beds"
The front desk was great. Staff prompt and very helpful. The bed was exremely hard, I was really disapointed and couldn't sleep for the 3 nights we were there. Our last night was a Saturday night, and the room next to us was full of girls that were extremely loud!!! The connecting door was locked, but we could hear absolutely everything. They were so […] loud, and I had to call the front desk to ask for a fan to help drown out their noise. This is a very nice hotel...a terrific value for New York. Small kitchen in suite (we upgraded and glad that we did) is a plus for convenience, etc. Staff were very accomodating. Very clean and plenty of room. Hotel staff was excellent. Had a great view of the city at night. We stay in N.Y. city at lest 3 to 5 times a year. This hotel had excellent location, price was a deal for a room with a kitchen.

The Affinia Dumont was more than what I expected. The location was good because there were many eateries within walking distance of the hotel & there was a huge supermarket nearby. It was a 10 min walk to the Empire State Bldg & the shopping belt so we did not have to take public transport. We managed to walk to & from the hotel. The room was big with […] lots of closet space & the kitchen was really convenient. We could microwave food & store drinks in the big refrigerator. It was very comfortable & spacious. The staff were helpful & accomodating. They allowed me to check in when I arrived at the hotel at 7 am. We had a one bedroom suite, roomy and comfortable, the furniture could sometimes be refreshed though. Nice kitchen, very comfortable beds and pillows, small bathroom. We did not have much of a view, being only on the 10th floor with a backyard view, yet it was very quiet and silent for New York. This suite is perfect when you have children with you. The neighbourhood is very convenient, Murray Hill dinner for simple, convenient food, and good breakfast, The Barking Dog Café is quite nice for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and at the corner of Lexington and 34th there is a nice Thai restaurant. "Would Stay Again in NYC"
I am very satisfied with Affinia Dumont. The small of the hotel is perhaps one one the best things, it smells like a spa, a slight fruity fragrance not at all overwhelming. My husband and I traveled with my 5 year old son and 13 year old daughter, we stayed in a 1 bedroom suite on the 24th floor. The room was spacious with a small kitchenette. The hotel […] was nicely located with several good restaurants and a few coffee shops within one block either way. "Great size room"
We rented a one bedroom with living room. it was a great size for 2 parents and 2 kids. Very clean room. The lobby area does not seem quite as new, but it was fine. The couch opened into a bed. DVD player available on request. A terrific gym. Great location. You can find more than 1 French, Thai, Indian, Italian, icecream, deli restaurants all within […] 1 block. Check-in and check-out were easy and staff was wonderful! We didn't have a coffee maker in our room. When I asked about it, they sent one up very quickly. Doormen were also very helpful. Easy walk to Grand Central Station, Empire State Building, Madison Square Park. Good restaurants nearby. Look forward to returning!

"Good Room for the Price"
The room was very comfortable. We were in a JR Suite. The only thing that would have made it even better was for the staff to pay extra attention to the kitchen...no knifes...Also, the bathroom could have used a rug instead of a drop towel..I know knit picky, but definitely would stay again...great Italian place to eat near by on Lex & 34th called […] Ciro. "superb in every way"
From the the hotel staff to the area everything was just so good.On checking in the staff gave us a choice of rooms they recommended what we should go for and to say we where satisfied is an understatement the views out of this world.

Affinia did not disappoint! Considering that the cost is rather high, the rooms are well appointed and if you are prepared, you can save a bunch on breakfast and snacks with the kitchenette that has everything that you require. I was working at the UN and it was about a 15 minute walk away...perfect on a cool March Morning! Rooms are well appointed […] although a flat screen on the wall would be so much better than the bulky hotel TV. That said, who goes to NYC to watch TV? Little noisy on the lower floors but I sleep like the dead so no problem there. Great products in the bathroom so if you are a carry on traveler, don't bother bringing your stuff as the Aveda products are just divine! "Central location with lots of space"
This was an excellent hotel. We were a bit nervous about the size of the room having heard that space was scarse in NYC, but this room was great! We had a small kitchen, a well spaced bathroom and a bedroom with a desk, lounge chair and two bedside tables plus room to move around! There was no shampoo in the room, but when I called they promptly brought […] a three week supply up. The staff were helpful and friendly and the hotel was so close to so many attractions. "The Good & the Bad"
Great neighborhood, nice room, loved having the kitchenette. My complaint is that this hotel bills itself as a hotel for business travelers - there is a steep fee for internet in the room & no coffee machine in the kitchen (though one may be requested). In general, I wish that hotels would include such basic business accommodations without being charged […] an additional fee... I'd much rather pay a higher room rate and not be nickeled & dimed. "Were terrific in accommodating our schedule."
Would suggest requesting an upper floor. Street noise was significant in our 4th floor room. Also, the room darkening shade only came down about halfway making for a very early morning. In the hotel's defense, however, we didn't call them when we couldn't get it all the way down otherwise I'm sure they would have repaired it. "Great value base for a family"
I stayed at the Affinia Dumont with my wife and two children (6 and 10). We had a one bedroom suite. It was a good size. The only real minus point was that, although there was a fully equipped kitchen, there was nowhere to sit down and eat. Having said that, there are plenty of decent restaurants in the area.
