The only thing good about this place is that it was close to where we were meeting our client. The room they placed me in was not in the building that is shown on the website, but a next door, a less than desirable place. When I asked about this, I was told that the other building is what was paid for. "Breakfast" is in the main building.

Lovely rooms with fireplaces. Bed and pillows were uncomfortably hard. OK breakfast but pastries stale

The two old houses that comprise the Cambridge Inn B & B were absolutely charming. We had what was billed as a "Contemporary Room" which was located in the secondary house, and while not Victorian in decor it was decorated very tastefully and not at all modern. The dining room where the breakfast buffet is located is in the primary Victorian home's […] parlor replete with fireplace which was lit in the mornings. The food was adequate, cereal, granola, fruit, breads and sweet rolls. I would recommend the Cambridge Inn B & B as a great value in a wonderful neighborhood close to excellent ethnic restaurants and two subway stations. Ler mais

Excellent stay. My husband and I had a great time!

My wife and I visited our daughter and son-in-law for a few days this week. They suggested the Cambridge House. This was a great recommendation. The staff was courteous and friendly, the room unfailingly clean, and the atmosphere very quiet. A great fresh market store is located across the street which made it convenient to pick up beverages, etc. Parking […] is included and adjacent to the facility. Breakfast is available daily from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. and beverages (coffee, tea, etc) are available 24 hours. A few hot items on the breakfast buffet would be an improvement. A small refrigerator in the room also would have been nice. As far as negatives go, there was a slight problem with reception of local channels on the cable system. As I am mobility impaired, another negative was that our room required climbing a fairly steep stairway. Of course, in the future, I can request a room on the ground floor. Overall, we were very impressed with this property and would not hesitate to recommend it or to stay again in the future. Ler mais

The rooms are clean, the bed's comfortable, the places is decent. Usually, breakfast is good. This was my fourth overnight stay here in the last two months. I'll probably stay there again, but I noticed some things this time that will make me look for an alternative (although there are usually no other low cost quality alternatives). First, even though […] I'm athletic and don't mind lugging a wheelie around, the room required me to walk up and downstairs twice_first to get to the second floor and then actually on the second floor (two landings). In the hallway in front of my room was a vacuum cleaner (with power cord unwound which made me almost trip with my overnight suit bag) and a bucket with cleaning products and rags (what, no utility closet anywhere?). At least it could have been neatly situated so I could maneuver my wheely without turning sideways! In the morning, I thought the included continental breakfast (usually pretty good) started at 6:30am but I may have had the time wrong. No one was there, and no staff was anywhere in sight. I walked around the corner to Starbucks. When I returned to check out at 7:10am, no staff was available to retrieve the key. I looked up and down the floor, but to no avail. I had to leave the old-style key on the counter in front of the locked check-out counter. Still, the place is decent, the staff (when around) are usually very pleasant, and the rooms (except for the tiny flat-screen TVs) are clean, comfortable and OK. Never let them give you room 303, however, unless you don't mind walking up and down, up and down stairs.... Ler mais

Night front desk person makes bad first impression little knowledge of area Beware there are two houses which is not mentioned...check in/breakfast at one may have to drag suitcases(no ramps) next door...pack LIGHTLY Should have neighborhood infomation in ALL rooms: restaurants, etc.

the only thing was left to be desired was the breakfast,cereals there were plenty of choices, after that not a hot item to be had except water or coffee,as long as you like cakes and other dough items ok

The staff was very pleasent. The room was nice but the mattress needed turning and the towels are simply tiny. I had to give my towels to my wife and I just airdried. Stangely enough, we stayed at a Holiday Inn Express the next night on our way haome and the towels were excellent and abundent. Otherwise, the Inn was nice and the breakfast good.
