Como San Diego não é uma megalópole, o deslocamento de carro para todos os pontos turísticos é rápido, em particular Gaslamp Quarter e Little Italy (dois locais imperdíveis de se ir à noite). Localizado junto à praia e restaurantes diversos, é uma boa para quer quer surfar e comer. O hotel é do tipo econômico (padrão Orlando) e dispõe de lavanderia. Havia famílias americanas com crianças e estavam todas satisfeitas. O café é servido no lobby (café, leite, chá, suco e muffins doces). Se quiser, pode montar seu kit e levar para o quarto. O quarto com duas camas de casal é amplo, limpo e comfortável. A internet é paga. O entorno é seguro para um passeio à pé. Há todo tipo de comércio que precisar nos arredores. Tudo compatível com o preço. Fiquei muito satisfeito e recomendo com empenho.

The hotel is great with a friendly and efficient service. Nice breakfast. Pacific Beach is beautiful. The only negative was the surrounding neighborhood at night. Really scary to walk around !!

"Pior hotel que ja fiquei"
O hotel muito mal localizado... o pessoal grosseiro, fomos muito mal atendidos! O cafe da manha tem 5 mesas para MUITAAA gente. Tivemos que comer em pe. Nao recomendo o hotel, muito feio, velho e mal cuidado. Quarto muito pequeno e muito barulhento!

"Great hotel, but not in the best place"
I loved the hotel and the staff was nice too. I was on the second floor of Marina Tower and the view was amazing. The bed was very comfortable, so was the room. I received 2 vouchers of USD 5,00 each for that green attitude and I used at Quinn's, a nice sport's bar in the lobby. The worst thing was the absence of wifi in the room, even if I pay. Trata-se de hotel simples, mas bem cuidado. Bem localizado, faz com que tudo seja facil desde que vc esteja de carro. Nao e' um hotel turistico, melhor para o viajante que nao vai ficar muito no hotel.

"Hotel in San Diego,CA."
This is our second time staying at this hotel. The rooms are nice and clean. The staff was friendly and the price was right!!! The ocean is right across street and the restaurants are walking distant.

When we arrived, I asked to confirm what type of room we got, the girl repkled, double queen, non-smoking. We go upstairs, room 615 & it smells of smoke...the sliding door wide open and the carpet by the sink, soaking wet. My husband and I could not get the sliding door closed because it was off track. After about 15 minutes we got it to close. We find […] 2 ashtrays in the room. So I go downstairs to advise the front desk. There was a new person there. I tell her that I reserved a non smoking room and the gal that was there earlier also confirmed that, she says well its a smoking room and there are no other rooms available. I told her about the carpet and she gave me a towel to put on the floor. When I go back to the room, my front door can be pushed in about an inch with out a key, so you can see inside. The hinge on the door is one huge hole. Easy to break in. Anyways, I had to sleep in that room and woke up sick. Its now 6 days since I slept in that room and I am still recovering. I have a sinus infection, sore throat, & upper respitory infection, all from the smoke from that room. The next morning, the front desk said they can move me to another room, but it won't be ready until after lunch. She said to just pack up my bags and they will move my items to the new room so we wouldn't have to wait around. This girl was really nice. The room we were moved to was much cleaner, a little bigger, and a lot more comfortable. I really don't understand how they could even let anyone stay in that first room we had...absolutely horrible. To sum it all up, staying at this hotel, made me and my son sick. And I'm still suffering from it. I will not stay here again. Very disappointing! There was only 1 person at the front desk who was helpful and seemed concerned. The other 2 were awful... Leia mais

We requested a room away from the road as our last stay was noisy with early morning rubbish collections and road noise, we did get a different room but it was on the side looking out on the road with no rubbish collector noise but not much improvement to the road noise at all. The staff were pleasant & friendly and very busy. Our room was nice with […] 2 Queen beds and plenty of room. The breakfast area was okay but needs to be larger as a lot of people had to stand around waiting for a seat. The food & beverages were okay, however on one day there was no Tea Bags. Many peple informed a man who was filling the coffee machine and he said he would get more but never returned. We learned they had run out completely! Not good organisation. We'd rate it 'B'. Harbor front room I reserved and paid for was not available the first of three days I stayed at this hotel. Was available for the second and third night behind a fire escape stairway. Shuttle would not drop me off at the cruise ship terminal.

"Tough to sleep through all the noise outside"
We decided to stay at this hotel on our last night of vacation so that we'd be close to the airport, car rental return and would be able to do laundry before heading home the next morning. The laundry room vending machines were out of detergent and I was told by the woman at the front desk that if I wanted to do laundry, I'd have to go to a store and […] buy detergent. She said that the vending machines were the property of another business and did not belong to the hotel. On our flight back home I got to thinking: if the hotel has it's own laundry facilities then why couldn't she have offered me some of their detergent since their website listed the laundry as an "amenity"? Second issue: the sliding doors/windows that lead out to the balcony may as well have been absent. The outside noise was incredibly loud. There were fire truck sirens (twice), & car traffic through out the night as well as patrons going in and out of the restaurants across the street that were in loud party mode. Not so great when you're trying to sleep... The hotel was clean, older looking, but clean. "Petite Room but nice location"
Room very small but had microwave, oversized frig, blow dryer, coffee maker, step out balcony and good sized bathroom. Breakfast was a good variety of cereals, pastries, fresh fruit, juices, breads and my favorite waffles. It was just the 2 of us and luckily we did not need to spend much time in the room, we were there for our son's graduation from […] the MCRD. They had coffee in the lobby and fresh cookies in the afternoon. The hotel is across the street from the harbor and the view is pretty if you get a front facing room. Pizza Nova is across the street too, which is a favorite of ours. Our room faced the entry to the parking garage but it was quiet and the bed was very comfortable. I was plesantly surprised that the hotel was very close to downtown, the airport, the harbor and the Marine Corps and Naval recruiting stations. It is also near the major attractions. It is quiet easy to walk less than one mile of the hotel to find excellent resturants, fast foods, liquor and grocery stores. The complimentry continetal breakfast is […] average. The convient parking also includes covered parking. If you are a light sleeper try to avoid a room facing the street (Harbor Avenue) its a nice view but the traffic can be annoying. The staff was SO accomodatting! They let me check in early and check out an hour after regular check out time. The location was fantastic, as I was able to walk 2 blocks to get basic groceries. This was close to all the sights, had a beautiful view of the harbor, had very helpful front office staff, great breakfast and comfortable, clean rooms. We did have a major issue with our bathroom sink that did not get resolved while we were there.

This is a very pleasant hotel with a great complimentary breakfast buffet every morning. The service was wonderful and the staff were very nice. I enjoyed five nights their with my girlfriend and she had no complaints.

The breakfast facility was way too small for the amount of rooms offered. We skipped breakfast each day in favor of a less crowded situation.

The hotel is OK for the price. The best part is the location. The worst part is - I booked a non-smoking room but it is a smoking room. The rest is OK. We were offered complimentary breakbast but too crowded to enjoy; breakfast served until 9:30 only, not suitable for holiday time travelers.

Booked this hotel for a pre-cruise stay. Could not find a reasonable hotel near the port, so this turned out to be a good choice. They pick you up at the airport and drop you off at the pier. So the savings in taxi fare was great. The hotel itself was a typical Best Western. Rooms was fine, although they haven't upgraded to flat screen TV's yet. The room is large, clean and confortable. The hotel is in a good location in one of the best parts of town and is close to almost any tourist site you would like to visit. I have stayed here several times and is my #1 hotel in San Diego. The price is right.

"Breakfast room could be better"
At present the breakfast room is very oppresive. It is a small room, but the walls are bright orange which makes it look even smaller, so I did not feel comfortable there. Walls painted in a lighter color and a big window or large colorful photos showing the sea, trees, nature will definitely improve the feeling in the room.

Great deal on Hotels.com for 5 nights! Very friendly staff. Courteous and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again. Great Italian restaurant directly across the street. Conveniently nestled near the car rental facility and the International airport. Day shift counter personnel (male) need some training in customer service. The Yacht Harbor is a good value for the money. Not fancy, but the room is large and location is a convenient drive to most sights in San Diego and to the airport.
