O objetivo da minha viagem era um dia de compras e o hotel atendeu minhas expectativas. Vale ressaltar que é imprescindível ter carro, pois não há comércio próximo, além de um posto de gasolina que considerei conveniente. O hotel é próximo ao aeroporto, mas o quarto é bem silencioso, confortável e espaçoso. Pude organizar minhas malas sem problemas. O wi-fi no quarto funcionou perfeitamente e em boa velocidade de conexão. Café-da-manhã padrão americano satisfatório. Poderia melhorar a indicação de entrada do hotel porque é um pouco confuso a primeira vista.

Adequate Confort/cost relation, very well localized, hotel staff very friendly and open to address your request. Only negative, breakfast end on saturday by 10AM and no service can be get from the Cafeteria after that. Nick

O hotel está muito bem localizado próximo ao aeroporto de Houston, mas mesmo assim é silencioso, com um bom café da manhã e atendimento gentilr. Os quartos são limpos e, embora não muito novos, são confortáveis. Vale a pena pelo custo/beneficio.

A group of 9 women attended an event at the Convention Center and stayed for 4 nights. All of us were very impressed with the hotel and to a person said we'd like to come back. To get 9 different people to agree on something is quite rare, so you know the hotel was fabulous. "Magnolia Hotel-- a short walk to Minute Maid Park"
The Magnolia Hotel is a charming hotel with lovely rooms. It is conviently located to Minute Maid park and downtown and very easy to get too. The service was great but I do wish they had a concierge on staff as the valet did not have any real direction for my questions. The only other problems we had were with the free breakfast which we will skip next […] time. During this time we waited 15 min on an elevator only because we were on the 19th floor. The breakfast was just average would have been great if they would offer an egg option other wise the hot meal consisted of bacon, hashbrowns, and biscuits and gravy. "7 days in Houston downtown"
This hotel is clean and convinence but the service is not so good due to the lack of hotel's staffs. International buffet Breakfast, is not so variety(may be bcoz of the american culture. The hotel has a very good transport for the downtown area. Sometime we have to wait for a long time but it is ok bcoz no need to pay.

"Magnolia- super boutique hotel"
While a hotel of this size doesn't normally class as a boutique this hotel acheives that feel. Staff were friendly efficient and courteous. A great hotel to stay in.

Comfortable attractive room and bath with nice size tub/shower and separate dressing area.....comfy beds......city views.............and even better city views from roof top swimming and lounging area. From the SECOND I arrived, I was wowed. Excellent location, staff, rooms, food, complimentary amenities, shower head (minor, but important!), views, lots of stuff within walking distance. I wish they were a bigger chain, I'd stay with them everywhere I travel!

We stayed at the Magnolia in Houston for two nights. We booked a large king room, which had a refrigeration, microwave and range top. Comfortable room. Extremely nice hotel with a diverse clientele. Good service. Good free breakfast buffet on weekdays, didn't like the weekend one as much. Very convenient for downtown business, functions at Jones Hall, […] or baseball and basketball games. "Biz Trip"
The hotel is very nice and we enjoyed our stay. One thing I would comment on is that the hotel restaurant is pretty much a self serve buffet. They have menus on the table but no servers around to take an order. We saw one person clearing dishes and restocking the coffee pots, but no one ever approached us so we just went through the buffet.

Nice hotel well situated near good restaurants at different price levels, and close to the George R. Brown Conference Center. The hotel offers complimentary shuttle service to all of these. I looooved this hotel! It was so beautiful and elegant! They offer so many guest services like complimentary happy hour, late night milk and cookies, and buffet breakfast! Everyone was very friendly and helpful I am definitely staying here again!

This hotel has a great location, a lot of great restaurants are in the surrounding area. The service is wonderful, everyone is very friendly, however some of the shuttle drivers are very serious. The only complain I have is the cost of the water in this hotel, I think is excesive! $6 for a bottle of water!!! insane!

I read a lot of the complaints about the condition of this hotel. I did see some of these things. Toilet hung open when we arrived. The furnishings were worn. The staff at the hotel were very kind and friendly. The room was a bit of a disappointment. Although the view was nice, there was a large torn spot on the bed, a crack in the garden tub, along with several pieces of hair, the toilet was not clean, and the bed linens had an odd smell to them. We really liked this hotel, walk to lots of different restaurants (we went to Cabo's, great for kids too). The kids enjoyed the breakfast, the rooftop pool (great at night, sight over the city lights) and the cookies and milk at 8pm was an added bonus. Very nice hotel. The breakfast was really good. The complimentary wine/beer was nice. You could walk to nearby restaurants and bars. A few blocks more looks like would take you to some shopping places. Unfortunately, I didnt make it there. Great shower/tub. All the niceties you need. Iron, hairdryer, coffe maker. The room did have a strange odor when you walk in, it's probably some sort of cleaning product, you dont notice it when your in your room for awhile, but when you just come in, it threw me for whirl. I went with this hotel as they had kitchenettes and were downtown. GREAT choice and I am already planning on staying here again. I have it a 4 for condition as my first room was leaking water from the A/C units. Turned out to be the floor above me so they kept moving me down floors but they were leaking too. So I finally went downstairs and they very […] quickly upgraded me to a full one bedroom suite versus the junior suite and the three days could not have been nicer. I would even consider paying full price in the future for the full one bedroom suite. Pros: Great, large and clean one bdrm apartment Tasty and fast room service Super friendly, and overly helpful staff especially the valet Free car service downtown and you call and they pick you up fast Free drinks/cookes (never used this service but I would think it's a pro) Gym (again didn't use it but 3 of every cardio equipment, plenty of towels and nice A/C) Walkable restaurants (Vic Anthony's Steakhouse was GREAT!) Cons: The downtown area is a little run down and dirty around the area but inside the hotel you don't notice it Pool is awesome for views but very small and only 3 feet deep. My #1 choice when I stay in downtown Houston. Only complaint is pricey valet service. Parking is expensive anyway though.
"Luxury hotel at a bargain price!"
I've written it before, and I'll write it again: You can't beat the Magnolia for business or pleasure travel to Houston. Beautiful, clean, luxurious rooms with lots of extras such as a great breakfast, happy hour, and cookies and milk. I just had my 10th stay at the Magnolia and I'll be back before the end of the summer.

"Magnolia Hotel a Wonderful Experience"
Our recent 2 night stay at Magnolia was excellent in every way. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The room was lovely and comfortable. The breakfast was nice and the free drinks at happy hour were even better. Cookies and milk were a nice treat. I would stay there again at the next possible opportunity.

We enjoyed the stay it was a beautiful building and its location to various downtown activities is perfect you are centeralized. It only flaw is its elevators availabilty which on a busy weekend you would be waiting on an elevator for quite a while. Overall the hotel and its accomidations were great

The Magnolia is a great place to stay if you are going to Minute Maid Park. It is within walking distance or they will provide a shuttle to take you. The rooms are very nice and the service is excellent.

The hotel is nice and clean with a friendly staff... there is not a lot to see around it but they provide free transportation with a mile or two from the hotel. For those going to Minute Maid Park, the hotel is just a few blocks away so its an easy 5-minute walk (or less) in case you don't want the free transportation. My room had a terrible view […] (to an abandoned building) through a small window because the other was blocked with a piece of furniture that has the TV, safe box, some drawers, and a mini-bar... Before booking this hotel I read most of the reviews on this site. Most were positive but there were a few negative reviews. I understand that everyone has a different experience and incidents arise that may leave someone with a negative impression but judging by our experience I have nothing but praise. My wife and I have been traveling to cities with […] MLB ball parks. This is one of the best hotels we have stayed at. The price in any other major city would be double what we paid. The free breakfast went way beyond just bagels and coffee. We had scrambled eggs, bacon, hash browns, cereal, muffins, fruit, coffee, and juice. Every night they have a reception where you get two free drink tickets for beer or wine, other cocktails available for cash. And to top it off, every night a free cookie bar with milk and cookies. "Overall just a nice hotel, only a few complaints"
The Magnolia Hotel was very nice, in a great part of downtown Houston that made getting around very easy. The complimentary breakfast was very good, much better than other hotels, the socail hour was a nice treat, as was the milk and cookie buffet at night. The pool was nice, would be a little nicer if it was a bit larger, much more adult friendly than […] children friendly. The hotel staff and vellet were very friendly and helpful. The only complaints I do have are the elevators. Even with 3 elevators with only 8 people per elevator at a time it definitely was a hassle, especially when there were events going on, the wait was easily 30 minutes waiting for the elevator. Also they must be pretty old as when there were too many people the lights would shut off and the elevator would shake and get stuck. Almost happened to us twice, which wasnt the best thing since I am 8 months pregnant. But besides that it was ok, i wouldnt stay on a high floor again thats for sure, just in case the elevators were an issue again on the next stay, but the pool is on the 23rd floor which does cause an issue. "Perfect location for a baseball game"
Not only did Magnolia offer shuttle service, but the ballpark was close enough to walk to, and convenience was a factor for this particular trip. The hotel was beautiful - lobby, room, and roof. The pool was small & you have to be patient with the elevators. Besides that, the stay was pleasant and comfortable.

We stayed at the Magnolia Hotel in Houston for five nights. I felt safe walking at night in downtown Houston. The valet staff was courteous and efficient. The free breakfast was better than average with several choices of warm entrees including prepared oatmeal (not instant) with brown sugar every morning. In addition they offered cookies and milk every […] night in the same dining area on the second floor. The room was clean and comfortable with a city view. Great bed and thick towels. There was no noise from adjacent rooms, some traffic noise on weekdays. But no trouble sleeping here. We had dinner in the restaurant on the 2nd floor one night. The salads we ordered were quite good. There were several nice restaurants nearby. The pool area on the roof deck was also well kept with plenty of towels available. "Good hotel, great location."
The hotel had wonderful valet service ($25 per night) and easy check-in. The room was large and unfortunately faced a brick wall of the the building next door. The bathroom had an oval garden tub that doubles as a shower (never seen something like that) and the vanity was a little small (hard for girls that are tyring to apply makeup or fix their hair). […] Breakfast was great an consisted of hasbrowns, buiscuits and gravy, cereal, juices. My biggest complaint was that the pool was closed during peak times for an event.
