The hotel was nice and the service very good but the pool was so dirty. My son wanted to get in the pool but I didn't let him go.

I think they under rated hotel is perfect location and I would let everyone know they have a ferry for 3 a person it takes you over to the beach area and to the SS Lincoln they don't give you this info at desk.The restaurant on the 20 floor was the best meal I have had in a long time you just have to watch the bartender double charged for drinks.They […] also have city trolley that pick up outside hotel so enjoy Leia mais

We had originally booked the Omni Marina and changed our reservation to the BayView. This was a great choice since the BayView has been newly remodeled. The upgrade price was well worth it. The staff was great! Every request was answered promptly and everyone went above and beyond to meet our needs. The hotel was very clean and our room was well taken […] care of. The meal that we ate at the hotel (breakfast) was better than anything that we could have found in town. (Even if I were not staying at the Omin, I would go there for breakfast.) The location was great for the downtown beach, the local attractions and there are plenty of places to eat within walking distance. The only draw back to our stay was that there was a conference in town that weekend and there were a lot of people in the pool area up until it closed at 10pm. The day of our departure, we went around to other hotels and checked out some rooms and will never stay at any other hotel. When we come to Corpus Christi, the Omni will be the ONLY place we stay. The room was okay, though I had to set the thermostat to 68 degrees to get down to a comfortable temperature. (I set my thermostat at home to 78.) The AC vent in the bathroom did not seem to have ANY air coming from it. There was a notice that the guest elevators were being "serviced" and might take a long time. I loved the stay but I would have like to be able to walk to the beach.

Awesome hotel. Would recommend to anyone. The Indoor pool area with the movie screen playing was great for kids. Beautiful ocean view. Very clean and comfortable room.

This was a very nice hotel with excellent customer services. We enjoyed the swimming pool, hot tube, and weight room. The ONLY complaint I have is that the bathroom does not have any ventiliation so it get very hot and humid after taking a shower.

2 1/2 stars at best. Some of the staff were very nice & polite, however... Our "non-smoking" room reeked of cigarette smoke. They would not move us. They said that housekeeping would deoderize the room the next day. They either did not do so, or it did not work. The carpet was dingy & threadbare. The closet sliding doors were off the track. The furniture […] was beat up. Our TV picture would "roll vertically." In the bathroom, the recessed light fixture was hanging out of the ceiling 4 inches. The manager claimed that it did not pose a hazard. The shower curtain had quite a bit of black mold & mildew. The shower drain was very slow, and the toilet required numerous flushes to flush even 1 sheet of toilet paper. Room service forgot part of our meal, overcooked part of our meal, and did not provide condiments. They also brought bottled water which we did not order. We requested that they remove the charges for the food they forgot and for the bottled water that we did not order. They said they would take care of it but did not. Every 30 to 40 seconds, the lights in our room would dim for a few seconds. I asked the manager if there was an electrical problem or fire hazard. He thought it was being caused by brown-out power reductions by the power company. I asked him to verify that with the power company. It turned out that the dimming lights were because our room was next to a broken elevator which was overloading our rooms circuits. Their fitness facility is hopelessly inadequate. Ironically, it is located on one of the "smoking permitted" floors. We will never stay at the Omni in Corpus. In the past, we've had fair luck with other Omni's, however, after this experience, we probably won't chance it with other Omni's in the future. Leia mais

Very nice location, very small restrooms, 10 minutes wait on elevators. Great customer service.

We loved our room. We were disgusted at the cleanliness of the pool. There was a visible bathtub ring on the outdoor portion of the pool. Therer wa also "funk" floating on the steps of the pool. We were disgusted when people would wade through it because they were not paying attention. Poolside, we ordered an over priced adult beverage and asked the […] attendant to get us and additional accompaniment for the drink , he agreed and never returned. :-( This is a regular stay for us and we were a bit put off by the yucky pool. Awesome,we were greated right off the bat by valet and bell hop. Very fast check in and provided us with coupons for sightseeing and restaurants.The pictures on your sight are true.My husband,I,1 son and 3 grandchildren and had such a great time.The pools were fantastic and we really anjoyed the lounge in the evenings.I would stay here every time.

This hotel was wonderful, from the newly remodeled rooms, to the excellent service...not to mention the best filet I have ever had at the Republic Steakhouse on the 20th floor with the most amazing views. Five Stars, we will be back!

I was pleased to get a room quickly and on short notice. Staff was pleasant and helpful.

The staff was so nice every one was so helpful. Our room was very clean and neat, keep in mind it is an older hotel. I wish we were closer to the beach but it was just 20mins away. I would stay there again we enjoyed our stay.

This is one of the best deals in the area. We go back to this hotel because we love the service, pool, restaurant, and views. The hotel is getting close to needing a renovation, but is kept up, and well maintained.

We chose the Bayfront and were very happy with our stay. The balcony was fantastic as was the view. The room was quiet and comfortable. If there is a downside the elevator is always packed so expect a longer ride up or down (we were on the 18th floor so it did get annoying at times). Still worth the time for an otherwise great hotel.

Exceptionally-friendly staff, particularly upon arrival and when checking out. Rooms very clean and smelled fresh! Elevator maintenance resulted in longer waits for elevators but that is just the luck of the draw for any traveler. Overall, a pleasant experience.

The room was very comfortable and clean. The staff was very accommodating and polite. The Sunday breakfast buffet was awesome, especially the omelet. The only disappoint was the jacuzzi by the pool did not have a very 'fresh' smell and did not feel very clean. my wife and got stuck in the elevator for 10 minutes. the beds were smaller than full beds kinda disappointed. the room was alot smaller than at other Omni Hotels I have stayed at in the past. A little disappointing.

Excellent location to most exhibits. Excellent hotel overall. North views were blocked by Bank tower. Elevators were intermittent on our stay. Use of the service elevator was more accomadating. Bat tub appeared to have mildew.

All would have been good except our AC went out in the early morning hours! They were quick to come and check it out but the unit was out! They would only comp us our valet parking!!!

Omni Marina was horrible!! If you have issues with hygiene, don't even think of this hotel! THEY ALLOW PETS AND THEY SLEEP ON THE BEDS!!! The breakfast was horrible and my stay was stressful. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. It was expensive and didn't meet my needs.

Having read mixed reviews of this hotel, I was hoping our stay would not turn out to be a nightmare. I was pleasantly surprised with both the service level and the hotel's performance. From the valet staff to the front desk to the maid, the service was great. While only two of the three elevators were operating, there was a note saying that the service […] elevator was available for use and that the elevators were in the process of being upgraded. As a frequent business and leisure traveler there are something things that I expect at a hotel and the Omni did not meet all of those expectations. i thought days of paying for internet access were gone, but not at the Omni. There was a lack of outlets to plug in electronics. I was on this trip with my daughter so we had two cell phones and two ipads […] to charge overnight so we had to put somehtings in the bathroom to charge and some under the table. I have to give KUDOS to the employees for being very friendly and welcoming. Check in was very easy and they met my daughter at that time used her name and continued to do so while we were there which made her feel very special. The room need more attention to vacuming as there were cookies (or something) crumbs on the floor and pieces of paper under the bed. There were pink (looked like lipstick) stains on one of the bed sheets. Truly if this hotel was in another city I probably wouldn't recommend it because something better can be found but unfortunately Corpus dosen't have many options above a 2 star quality so this is what we settle for. Not to mention I did get a FABULOUS deal on Hotel.com so it did take some of the sting out of the stay. Leia mais

We stayed here for one night, although I'd love to have stayed longer. The hotel was very nice. Staff was friendly and helpful. Definately worth the price. Room was nice and clean, not like being at cheap, dumpy hotels. Room service quality was great, the food was tastey. I would most definately stay here again.

They charge for everything and I didnt realize I was being charged a $10 fee for every day I parked there. The most inconvenient thing was there was not a fridge or microwave. Big disappointment. My family and i stayed here at the Omni an everything was excellent except they were working on the elevators at the time of our stay and we actually got stuck on the elevator a few times an then waiting for the elevator to actually come was very irritating.

In a nutshell, this hotel is NOT worth the high rate. I booked this room thinking that it would be a luxury hotel and it simply is not! I paid extra for the bay view and could see the bay but mostly could see ugly rooftop underneath window, plus had to stand up and turn to the right to see the water. Corridors were hot and smelly. Just nothing pretty […] or unique about this place. Very disappointed. I should have saved the money and stayed at a Motel 6---wouldn't have been much different. Leia mais

this place smell at humiditi , the guy there are unprofesional they don't lisent and are rude you can not open the balcony and everething is old and filty even the TV is old , old and they charge for everething include water and WIFI ( 9,95 @ day ) STAY AWAY OF THIS HOTEL

My frist encounter was with the front desk which was unpleasent from the start and only got worst. room was okay except i was not given what I reserved. Had kids withme unpleasent stay for them.

Yes, this hotel is not as luxurious as the Bayfront, but I do have to share ...because of the excellent customer service ......nothing was wrong with the Marina hotel!! Coming in we were treated like royalty, having the elevators working, taking us to the rooms....leaving our children milk and cookies....breakfast in bed.....calling for our car and […] it being there asap.....what else ...service with a smile. our rooms were not cleaned at all one day. The concierge told us a restaurant was 6 blocks away and open, it was 4 miles away and closed. However, generally pleasant stay.

This is a nice hotel; somewhat overpriced, though. i appreciated the security. Not close to any good restaurants

The hotel was very clean and it was in a good location. The staff was frendly and helpful but I didn't like the blacony in the rooms it didn't open i think thats alittle misleading.

This hotel is in a great location with quick acess to waterfront, nightlife, restaurants. I booked this hotel because I was attending a conference there. The location is great but they nickel and dime u to death! They charged for everything from using the provided robes to the starch in the bathroom. I would expect that from a less expensive hotel, but this was not the Motel 6. The halls smelled funny, the elevators were hardly ever working […] and the "every room has a balcony" is true but they are locked and you can't access them. The room was small and the bathroom tiny. The carpet was stained and so were the walls. The staff was GREAT!! Bless there hearts! They tried to make up for the hotel but it was awful. I stayed at a Days Inn that was much nicer! The Marina is the bad one, unbeknownst to me, there r two Omnis one block away from each other. The Bayfront is nice, the Marina is the "sister" to it, but it's the ugly sister with acne! Beds were small for two people. I'd like to see queen beds. Also, A/C was difficult to regulate so we were too warm most of the time. Otherwise, very nice.
