I had a great stay at your hotel. When I first arived I have 10 minutes to change clothes and leave for business meetings. My cell phone had died in my car ride from Dallas, therefore losing my only GPS. When I explained this to the front desk they offered help immediately. They printed directions to all of my meetings for the day and directions to […] get back to the hotel. They saved my day! I could not be happier. That was my last business trip to Austin before I permanently move there or I would stay with you all every week. I will for sure put all of my guests up there. Thank you for making my week great. The location of this hotel is the best thing about it. It is right close to the action without being so close that the street noise keeps you awake. The action is within a reasonable walking distance. The free internet and breakfast are nice. While we were visiting they were doing some construction work and that was disappointing during breakfast, but […] it is going to improve the breakfast area going forward, and that speaks well of the hotel and their desire to have a pleasant place to stay in downtown Austin. "Parking only weakness"
Well appointed city facility. Only weakness was lack of self parking and shaky valet service. Our service was fine, but a friend's car was "lost" for over an hour.

Hotel is in a great location. Walking distance to everything. Very comfortable and clean rooms. Only drawback is that you have to pay for parking but that is standard downtown. I highly recommend this hotel.

I celebrated my birthday weekend in Austin and this is a GREAT hotel to stay at. It is only a few blocks away from the famous 6th street bars as well as 5th and 4th street. I stayed in the King Suite on the 14th floor. Holy cow, this room was HUGE!!! It was large, comfortable and amazing. If you book this hotel, get the King Suite. You'll thank me later. […] :-) If you have a car, be aware that there is a $23 per day valet fee. The guys are extremely nice and handle your car well. It includes unlimited in-and-out parking. Very nice hotel with friendly staff. Hotel has free breakfast which is decent. Thing I didn't like was you have to pay for valet, which is expensive, in order to park your vehicle in the hotel parking garage or else try to find parking on the street.

Was able to book the room on blackfriday for a great deal. 6th is near by, PF Changs handles the room service.
"Wonderful Stay!"
Everyone at the hotel was so friendly! We were pleasantly surprised at how nice the hotel was and how convenient it was to get to other parts of Austin. We didn't pay more than $8 for a cab anywhere! Breakfast in the morning was great! Only complaint is our room was a bit noisy and the bed was a bit hard. But other than that our stay was fantastic!

"Hampton Downtown - Austin, TX"
Accomodations were pleasant as was the hotel staff. Breakfast was great. The only issue that I have is Valet Parking. At $23. a night it was rediculous. I was not aware of this fee until I arrived at the Hotel. These hidden fees should be disclosed at time of reservation. Not a good business practice. At those fees I would have stayed elsewhere.

The location was great, front desk personnel was courteous and knowledgeable, the room was clean but our beds had metal rods sticking out on the sides of the bed frame which caused several bruises and scratches on all of us. That was definitely a violation of safety standards. When we complained next day, maintenance took care of the issue but we were […] still charged for the room though we were not satisfied with services for that day, which goes agains Hampton Inn policy on customer satisfaction. "stardard room great breakfast"
The room we stayed in was pretty staderd but it was clean but had thin walls. the breakfast is awesome it is complementary and has hot food as well as fruit yogurt and baked foods and plenty of room to eat.

"Great location and a fair price"
This Hampton Inn is in a perfect location for visiting downtown Austin. It is in walking distance of almost any of the entertainment venues, but a few blocks away from the noise of 6th Street. The rooms are clean, the breakfast is very good, and the customer service is great.
"good spot in downtown Austin"
the Hampton is in a totally redone historic building two blocks from Town Lake and two blocks from Congress Avenue, Congress provides a great view of the Texas capitol and is filled with restaurants and a few odd shops. Our room was unusually comfortable; the breakfast was plentiful and served in a handsome setting.

The customer service was excellent from the hotel front desk. The original room had not been cleaned but I was moved to another room immediately. The new room was comfortable and clean. "Best Deal in Downtown Austin"
I have stayed at the Omni, Sheraton and Raddisson hotels in downtown and this is the best value and is high quality with great staff and a free breakfast. The only draw back is there is no self parking at the hotel, valet only, so you must park either on the street (hard to find) or at the convention center lot literally across the street. I don't know […] what the fee is as we stayed on Thanksgiving weekend and the parking was free. All the hotels downtown charge for parking either in the rate or separately. "Great location, old hotel"
Thupis is a typical 'has been' hotel. It's old, carpets smell a bit funky, elevator feels a bit old and makes weird noises. The complimentary breakfast was... No good, at least if you're European and used to proper bread and real bacon (no bacon at all here). The staff, however were really nice!

I stayed in Hampton Inn for two days to see Austin and go to a Longhorn game. Due to the game that weekend, the rates of all hotels in downtown were double than what they would have been other days. So, while the hotel was very nice, the location great (3 minutes walking to 6th street, 15 minutes walking to Longhorn stadium), i found it very expensive. […] Positives are the location as mentioned, the size of the room and that there is mini market open next to front desk 24 hrs. All staff were polite and helpful. Such a great location, convenient to the Austin Convention Center, and all the wonderful restaurants and spots on 6th Street. Great healthy breakfasts, fun happy hour... great stay~!
"Good place"
Staff was very nice and helpful. The gym was tiny and not worth much. There was only a handful of pieces to use. I expected more and will not be staying there again until they upgrade the fitness facility.

Although hotel was convenient... Rooms are small... Not enough counter space in bathroom... And the construction next door pounding at 7:00 AM served as a wake up call...WOW... This Hampton Inn is actually nicer than most I've seen in the chain. EXcellent customer service. Good choice if you need to be on near 6th Street and Congress.

the hot breakfast bar was awesome, the beds were comfortable, there was decent street parking nearby (within 3 blocks) to avoid parking costs at the hotel, all staff were super friendly

we only stayed one night here and had no problems at all, the hotel was easy to find and was extremely central. The only point of note is we seemed to be close to some kind of club with pretty loud music other than that no complaints. I have stayed here twice in the last month. The hotel service is great and very friendly. The location is also in a prime area (close to 6th st) with many great places to eat or drink. It's in a clean area with a few nice steak houses neighboring.

"Easy Access & Great Fod is Near"
Easy access T/F major highways and all downtown destinations. Within walking distance of multiple restaurants. Only issue I had was our room had not been cleaned properly; however, the hotel staff moved us immediately and we had no other issues.
"Hampton Inn near Austin Convention Center"
Great location for our Keller Williams Realty training events held at the Austin Convention center... you can't really get any closer. The breakfast is hearty, the happy hour in the afternoon is great. Friendly staff, nice amenities... one of my favorite spots in Austin.

Though the nightly room rate here were pretty steep for a Hampton the facility was convenient to convention center, Not too far a walk to 6th, Staff was highly friendly, facility was very clean – Only reason I would stay someplace else if it could save me a few $$, However prices equal – Would gladly stay here again.

Great bed!! No back pain when waking up here. Great breakfast buffet too. Not crazy about the parking situation here but I guess that is what comes with a hotel that is downtown.
