Hotel Crown Insadong - Seul

Close to all the temples and musem. Short walk to subway. Wound not pay more for room but certainly value for money. 8000won to get cab home from party district and close to markets/many shops including music stores. try the lunch menu from the place on the corner, excellent food in traditional resturaunt (sit on heated floors) for 10000won

The room was clean and neat if not luxurious. There were two beds, one was full and one was a twin, which was plenty of room for my friend and I. The location was great because it was within walking distance of Insadong, Changdeokgung Palace, and an airport bus terminal. We had friends staying from London, we live about an hour from Seoul but decided to take them to Seoul for a big night out. Our usual hotel was all booked out. I booked for two couples, when we checked in both rooms had single beds. When we asked why they said they didn't have double rooms! Also, the rooms both smelt of cigarette smoke - when we enquired […] if they had no smoking they said they didn't. The interior was also pretty horrible. The rooms came with free breakfast but that was a real mish mash of food and they didn't serve everything they said they did. Ler mais

good location, from Crown Insadong you can walk to many places nearby, many food shops around the hotel, 2 minutes to subway. very nice staff willing to help, 24 hours internet available. the room is quite small, very limit space.

I thought the location of this hotel was excellent. The room was nice and clean and quiet. The front desk staff was not helpful AT ALL and was rude. As a foreigner, I needed guidance and suggestions as to how to best use my time. They did not have a map of the city of Seoul, only an area map. They did not have an guide in Enlgish of the subway system […] which would have been helpful and told me to take taxis! The staff did not speak English so I had difficulty explaining where I wanted to go and wanted them to tell me the best way to see the sights efficiently: 1-2-3! They became irritated when I asked this question. I asked them to write things down in Korean and they seemed annoyed at this request. They referred me to a shelf of brochures which only had phamlets of city tours and the DMZ. Basically, they were worthless. The breakfast was included in the price and was the same thing everyday! No change at all. I guess that for the price that can be expected. I didn't care. It was a couple of blocks from Insadong Street which is a delightful street to walk around. It is also located near some of most important palaces and not far from the subway. I would definately recommend taking "The Lonely Planet" if you go as it has Korean written next to the sights in English. I took another guide which did not have this feature. At the end of my stay when I asked about getting to the airport, they told me to take a taxi to the bus stop to catch the bus to the airport bus. When I persisted I found out they had a FREE taxi service to this bus stop in the form of a car which they offered to their patrons. They did not offer this to me at first! I was shocked to learn this but happy to know they had it as I certainly used it. It was a weird place to be sure and frustrating as well. Ler mais

Good budget hotel......Location is ideal right in Insadong, near the subway........Staff didn't speak a lot of english but whenever I needed them they were very helpful........no internet in room but 2 computers in lobby which were always accessible if a little slow.........all in all thumbs up for a short sightseeing trip in Seoul........

This hotel is perfect for the budget-minded traveler. The location is within walking distance (10-20 minutes) of several historic sites. There are many places to eat and shop right outside of the hotel. Also, there is a subway stop within a 5 minute walk of the hotel. The service at the hotel was also good, and the hotel staff speak some English-enough […] to get by anyway. The interior of the rooms are modest and somewhat dated; but if you're in Seoul to visit the sites and take in some culture, this is not a problem because there is so much to see and do you will not spend any time in the room...The rooms are clean and have most western-style amenities (including a toilet) that you will need. Hotel super bien placé dans le centre, proche d'Insadong. Les chambres sont propres, les douches chaudes et le personnel serviable. La déco est un peu vieillote mais si l'on n'y reste juste pour dormir, cela ne pose pas de probleme. Acces Internet uniquement au rez de chaussée sur un poste informatique. Pas de WiFi.

We hebben dit hotel geboekt nadat bleek dat ons eerste hotel, Hotel PJ, niet met een nacht verlengd kon worden. Het is een verouderd hotel dat perfect is gelegen op een paar minuten lopen van Insa-dong. Het is verouderd maar netjes en schoon.

hotel qui revendique 4 etoiles, ce qui semble un peu surevalue.pas de reproche particulier pour cet hotel bien situe dans seoul,dont l'amenagement reste un peu vieillot.
