Indian Harbour Beachside Hotel - Indian Harbour Beach

IHB Hotel has improved since my earlier stay in 2011. The rooms and bathrooms are are cleaner. Newer furniture and drapery were purchased. I heard no sound from the restaurant nor smelled any residual cooking food odors in the hotel.

Hotel very clean. Staff was helpful and friendly.

stayed in a pet friendly room. As most of you know dirty carpet and chewed up furniture. Not this place.It was nice and very clean. I travel alot and for a hotel half the price of the big chains I was pleasantly surpise. Comfortable beds and crisp sheets. Right outside my door was little court yard with tables,chairs, and umbellas. Crystal clean pool […] with tikibar.Restaurant with games. Very kid friendly. The area of hotel is nice. The bathroom is not 100% cleaned. Beaches are close by.

The Lexington is a very quiet hotel. Surprisingly since the kayak teams were also staying at the Lexington. We didn’t hear a peep from them. So that’s a credit to the Lexington’s construction and maintenance of the structure. We thought our stay at the Lexington was OK. Many small items marred the visit. They are easily fixed with a bit more elbow […] grease and attention to detail. The items are listed below: 1. The bedspreads were too large for the bed or they were not properly placed on the beds. The bedspreads hung on the floor causing a trip hazard. 2. The back of the remote was missing which could result in the loss of the batteries and inconveniencing the guest by having to go to the front desk for batteries or a new remote. 3. The bathroom is an area where I believe the most attention to detail is required for sanitary purposes. The following led me to think that maybe the bathroom wasn’t as clean as it should be: a. The tile bath surround has several very pronounced areas of dark mold. Bleach, Tilex and some elbow grease would eliminate the mold. Regular use, after each guest, of these products would prevent the mold from recurring. b. The baseboards in the bathroom had not been dusted or cleaned in some time. c. The tile floor was curling up under the sink and behind the toilet. d. The bathroom door needs to be repaired or replaced as well as the mirror. e. Insufficient bathtub foot grips or bath mat causing me to slip and almost fall. If a person older than I fell it would have been a much more painful event with possible broken bones. Lastly, the pool area was nice and well kept. It might not hurt to double check the wood decking for rot. These items would not prevent us from returning to the Lexington. The location and the price are far too convenient for us to go elsewhere. The front desk personnel were very proficient in their duties and most accommodating. Wish a breakfast of some sort included as it formerly was. Nearest place a ways away, extremely busy and noisy

nice room except the rooms had a musty smell. Otherwise all was good. Staff was very helpful and friendly. No breakfast of any kind.

The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The hotel is in a neighborhood. Not much in walking distance. The place is well cared for. However, it is old and it shows in places. The chairs in the room were rickety, the mattresses were pretty worn out, the plumbing was ancient (but the water was hot). The room had a smell like wet sand. This was the only […] place I could find for the shuttle launch in my price range, so I did not have high expectations. This hotel is right around the corner from the beach. Since it is also right around the corner from my mother, it is the perfect place for us to stay. It is not the Ritz. But it is clean. Older and not fancy. Pool area is nice. The only problem with our stay is that a sewer pipe had broken right in front of the hotel the day we checked in. the people where very helpfull and very kind to all of our needs,all of the help was so nice,and the hotle was very clean.the bed was hard but for the most part my stay was great,i will go back..

We were very happy with the hotel and location. Very affordable, nice pool, right down the road from the beach, nice , affordable restaurant at the hotel with very good food. Looking forward to going again!

Great location. Room was confortable.

The place is run down, old and outdated. If you are expecting luxury, the Lexington is not the place. The condition that it is now is that of a truck stop. I was very uncomfortable.

After fully paying up front, they tried to request a $400 deposit (in cash or credit) from my employees, supposedly for possible room service charges. These are employees that are on the road in hotels most of the year and they never order room service. I've already booked over 120 nights this year. And this deposit was requested mid-stay, after NO […] room service had been ordered up to that point. When trying to clarify why the deposit was being requested the clerk was very rude and not forthcoming with information at all. I will NEVER book my employees at this hotel again. Leia mais

Have stayed here many times. Apparently under new management. One notable, recent change is no more continental breakfast, which is a disappointment. Otherwise no discernable change in hotel, which still has clean, large rooms, with convenient refrigerator and microwave, good location, good shopping nearby, walking/running park nearby etc.

First impression was a nice lobby area, but our room was old, dark and very musty! The free continental breakfast is no longer offered. On the plus side, we enjoyed the pool, which has a real 7.5 foot deep end!

A nice hotel with a fairly good bar attached. Also nice pool, short drive from nice beach and kenneday space centre.

The gentlemen at the front desk was the best part of the stay. He was extremely friendly and helpful. The room on the other hand was terrible. This is a non-smoking hotel that will charge you $100 if you smoke in their rooms - the whole property isn't worth much more than $100!!! There were mold stains on the shower ceiling, the mirror fixture over […] the sink in the bathroom was rusty and the linoleum flooring was lifting next to the tub. The paint was peeling off the walls in the bathroom. The resturant was a little bizarre - kinda like a fast food restaurant with a bar??? Being advertised as a "sports bar" lead me to believe we would have regular waitress service. The topper was the huge palmetto bug that was in the bathroom on Sunday morning. I live in Florida and understand palmetto bugs being part of life, but the hotel should have better pest extermination so you don't have to share your room with a bug on your vacation! A Little dated but clean and great staff

Location was prime, cost was reasonable.

Very convenient to beaches but room was very dated in regards to carpeting and bedding although clean. I don't think I could stay there for a week or so but a night or two would be okay.

Great room for the money. The room was huge and comes with a microwave, fridge,etc.. The light in the bathroom didn't work because the bulb was burned out, but other than that it was fine. The beds were comfortable and the staff was nice.

This motel is an older building that was being updated during our last visit few years ago. The hotel location is very good for a quick trip with good access to major roads. The cleaning of the motel room could be improved as the carpent smelt musty and the bathroom tile had mildew in the tub/shower stall. A sign at the frount desk said to use the room […] safe to store any valuables as the Hotel was not responsible for lost items. However the safe in my room was locked and the hotel person could not get it open and the hotel maintaince person was request to fix this but never showed up to open the safe during our stay. The Lexington Hotel was built in the early 1960's and has been opened under a few different operators the last few years. It is in good shape for its age, but could use a refurbishing soon. You can't beat the location for the price.

I stayed for 3 nights and the bed was horriable so uncomfortable I didn't sleep well at all and mildew on the shower curtins.

Very convenient to where we needed to be at. Room on the first on with a patio and 2 chairs and a small table. It was right across from the bar, but it was a great location

The hotel was clean but the rooms were damp and smelled musty. We ended up opening up windows and doors to try to air the room out. Our room faced the bar so if you are looking for peace and quiet this wouldn't be the room for you. The pool was nice and clean.

Given the price, we got exactly what we expected. The only disappointment was the breakfast, which was not very good and had very few options.

We stayed at the Lexington Hotel for 5 nights with a 6 year old. The staff was friendly and helpful. The pool area was nice and clean. Only a couple of blocks from the ocean and there is a great resturant next door.

Great rate, very clean. Would go back anytime.

Das Hotel ist zentral auf der Insel gelegen und umgeben von allem was man benötigt.Zum Strand 10min. mit dem Auto.Schade nur,das Bett im 1.Zimmer war voller Haare der Vorgänger! Wir bekamen sofort ein neues Zimmer.Das war sauber und riesig wie alle anderen auch.Frühstück war ok - so wie in allen Hotels das Nötigste.
