the hotel was very clean, staff was very friendly and assisted with all our needs. the restaurant in the hotel, the Pine is a family style italian restuarant and the food is GREAT and the prices were very good. Three people ate from one meal and it was delicious. Location very nice and quiet and the shuttle to the airport on time! would stay again!

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Room was clean and comfortable. (small but not cramped!) Great shower. Breakfast had a nice selection and management refilled quickly. Dining room was on the small side and overcrowded at peak. Located in industrial area near airport. Not great but we felt very safe. Easy access to city and near relatives in Queens. We will return in future!

Overall my stay at this hotel was good. The only complaint that I have is the parking. My mother is disabled and the hotel only has one handicap parking space. The parking lot for regular parking was also very small. Outside of that, I enjoyed my stay. The next time that I go to N.Y., I'll look forward to booking at that same hotel.

Great room for the money

Great service. Great room for the money. make sure you have ear plugs you can hear the planes. We went out every night so when it was time to sleep the planes did not keep us up.

We just wanted to stay somewhere close to LaGuardia for our last night in New York, as we had a really early flight. Didn't need anything but a place to sleep and relax! The staff was extremely courteous and helpful, room was large, clean and comfy, continental breakfast in the morning was great, plus a friendly free shuttle to the airport. 100% satisfied.

I used to travel much more than I do now, but one thing has remained constant. Marriott consistently provides superior value at all their properties. Whether you're at a regular Marriott, a Marriott Resort, or at the lower end of their offerings, Fairfield Inns, they routinely provide a very good value for the dollar spent. In my experience, the Marriott organization understands their customers and provides what is expected in all aspects of lodging services. This specific Fairfield Inn is no exception.

Extremely clean and well kept hotel. Breakfast was better than most continental breakfasts. Hotel staff was impeccable---always polite and helpful. The shuttle was a dream -- very convenient to subway. The only downside is that you aren't near restaurants. No problem for us as we spent the day in the city via subway. I would definitely go back.

The hotel and rooms were neat and clean. The carpet was worn in places. The staff were very helpful. Breakfast was good considering the price of the room. While the hotel is not in the best neighborhood, the security appeared to be good. In general, you get what you pay for, however, this hotel exceeded my expectations.

The Marriott LaGuardia Airport/Flushing was easy to get to off the highway. The personnel was friendly and went out of their way to assure our needs were met. The shuttle service to the airport or nearby Citi Field was down to one minivan due to a mishap with their other shuttle. Hotel personnel provided transportation with their own private vehicles to assure that guests would get to their destination. Now that's service! The continental breakfast in the morning was satisfying.

When we returned to our hotel room after one day, we found the door had been left open because of a jammed lock and the room had not been made up. We complained to the night manager who assured us he'd find out what happened and call us----but we heard nothing. Such a disregard of personal safety, of cleanliness standards, and of communication makes me say "go elsewhere!!"

Considering the hotel options in NYC area (I'm a former New Yorker) the price was reasonable, the cleanliness was outstanding, the surroundings were bearable, parking was adequate, continental breakfast good.

The hotel was very convenient. We stayed overnight for a few hours to prepare for our honeymoon. The shuttle was prompt (but get there early because it filled up quick) and got us to LaGuardia for our early flight. The hotel could use some updates (we were a little scared of the elevator), and there was a musty smell, but service was great, and the room met our needs.

The planes noise would over power the TV. My wife could notsleep through the night.

Excellect, especially for the money. Clean hotel and room, and Staff friendly and courteous. Althought it did not feel unsafe, the surrouding is more industrial instead of retail or residential.

They were very accommodating about shuttling you to and from the subway area and airport. We were also able to check in early and leave our bags until we needed to go to the airport.

Convenience to airport was great. Shuttle to the airport was on time and quick. Hotel was not in great condition - elevator was broken and we had to use the stairs.

We stayed at this hotel at the beginning of our trip and then at the end prior to flying out. The staff were excellent, always polite, helpful and friendly. The only downside was the fact that the hotel is out in the middle of nowhere and there are no restaurants around. Luckily on our last night prior to our flight, we ate before going to that hotel. They did have a better than average continental breakfast. We'd go back and we'd recommend this hotel.

The hotel was very nice and clean. The staff was great - desk people particularly friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was more than most. The only problem was the location - there were no restaurants in the area. This didn't concern us much but for some travelers it could have been. We would stay again.

The hotel is a standard chain hotel with all the reliable comforts: cleanliness, smoke-free rooms as promised, internet access, decent breakfast, good service. Other pluses: very near La Guardia. An unexpected plus was that the courtesy shuttle picked us up from the airport within minutes of calling. The shuttle was regularly available to take us to (within a short walk of) the subway. The area around the subway station is colorful. There are many Chinese and Vietnamese restaurants and businesses. The minuses: The journey to midtown Manhattan takes 45+mins from the hotel. The industrial/airport area did not invite us to open the drapes and look out the window, but the area felt safe, albeit empty of people. Overall: We were able to catch a show and get back to the hotel by midnight. The hotel is certainly much more comfortable and new, and the room is more spacious than higher priced hotels in Manhattan. Given the current high hotel rates in Manhattan I was happy with the choice.

Nice room, good breakfast, and very helpful staff.

Was a great place to stay for quality and service. The shuttle is a hassle. You are not close enough to walk to subway. Either expensive taxi or wait for shuttle. About 45 minutes to Manhattan on train. Staff was very nice.

Terrible surroundings. While the hotel itself is clean and the staff are fine, it is in an absolutely terrible area that is hard to get to.

I chose this hotel because of its proximity to Shea Stadium, plus the amenities included parking and shuttle service to Shea and the subway. And, it was the best price in the area at the time. It turned out that there are only 12-15 parking spaces in an open lot behind the hotel, which cannot be reserved. If it's full, you have to park on the street in a heavily industrial area. There are no other hotels, shopping or conveniences in the immediate area. The shuttle was disappointing too, as it drops you blocks away from the subway entrance, and you have to walk through a questionable area. Also, the shuttle will take you to the edge of the parking lot at Shea, but does not come there to pick you up. You have to walk uphill to a gas station about a half mile away through a dark questionable area to get to the gas station. Perhaps this is "normal" for the area, but I expected more. The only vending machines in the hotel are for soft drinks, and they were empty, as they are only refilled once a week. The free breakfast was adequate, but the small seating area was quite crowded.

This hotel offered a fair price considering that it's in NYC. But its closeness to La Guardia, while a convenience for those traveling by air, was a little annoying due to the airplanes flying low almost over the hotel late at night and early in the am, although this did not happen every day of my stay (Thursday thru Sunday).

The staff at the Fairfield Inn were helpful and accomodating. Although we were not near the subway, there was a free shuttle that we could take to get to and from the subway stop. All of our questions about traveling to different sites from there were right on, and they were able to show us which train/subway to take and how long it would take us to get there. They also had a free internet station which we appreciated! Great for those flying into or out of LaGuardia. Also

I was very pleased with the hotel. They offered shuttle service to the subway, which was a big relief for my feet. And the subway in Queens took us right into Manhattan. It was a little pricey but it's New York City and we were very close to everything that we needed, so it was worth every penny.

The hotel has great services, including free shuttle to/fm LGA airport and Flushing downtown. However, you do hear the noice from the airplanes starting early in the morning. It might be very ideal for someone sleep light.

The hotel had a great complementary shuttle service to and from the airport and drop-off/pick-up near the subway. If you take the 7 train it will take you all the way to Grand central & times square. The continental breakfast was a great benefit since there are no nearby cafe or restaurants. The staff was friendly and helpful with directions. We were mostly in Manhattan for the days and only slept at the hotel. If you're looking for a hotel in an area where there is stuff to do immediately around you then this is not a hotel for you. You do have to travel a little bit to get into the heart of New York, but the subway is easy and this hotel was a lot cheaper then most I saw.

Everything was fine but the price was a little high.

Super breakfast offered. Nice people. Easy in and out. Very positive experience.
