"Nice for the price but needs updating"
This was a last minute trip for a weekend getaway & I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a hotel. So I saw the price for the rooms & it looked nice enough. The bed was super comfy and the room was reasonably clean. The walls had some scratches and there were some holes in the walls but the bathroom was clean. I have definitely stayed in worse hotels.. […] lol.. so this was just fine for a quick getaway for a good price. I don't know if I'd stay here again especially since I have seen a couple of other places.. it would depend on the price. But all in all.. a nice stay. The hotel just needs a bit of maintenance in the rooms and such. Leia mais

All ok except dirty windows and noisy plumbing. No free coffee in room or hotel. Bed comfortable but pillows below average.

Rooms clean an comfortable, staff friendly. Carpets in both the elevators and hallways were in need of vacuuming during our entire stay. Limited number of bars open and times for food service in the buffet was very limited. In the past this has been a much nicer place to visit.

"Great package deal"
Finding a reasonably priced stay for the New Year was our top goal. We lucked up because they also have Bingo on site. This made our trip such a better deal for our money. We had a BLAST!!!!!!!!!!!!

"Laughlin Palms"
The building looks nice from the outside but maintenance in the rooms is a disaster. We could barely see out of our "river view" window for all of the grime on it. The walls were pitted, stained and generally nasty. The plumbing worked but the shower head was falling out of the wall. I could go on but you get the idea. A maid told me that the hotel/casino […] would be shutting down "next year" and we were there in Jan 2012 for New Year day. Bad maintenance does not happy guests make! Leia mais

The hotel is very convenient. We have stayed here several times in the past few years. The buffet was closed and there were preparations being made for New Year, so lots of furniture and maintenance equipment lying around. Very good considering the low price of the rooms.

This hotel was very nice and the rooms were great. River was beautiful. If you are looking for a rooms then this is a great bargain. If you truly want to gamble and don't want to check out different restaurants around town, then you may want to look elsewhere. Staff was great, rooms great, had a good time.

"Maid Service"
I have stayed in every hotel on the Laughlin strip and must say, the best hotel in Laughlin is the Tropicana Express, even though the same company owns and operates Tropicana and River Palm's the service is night and day. I overheard a maid in the River Palms state they go into the rooms even when the do not disturb sign is up, and the days we had the […] sign off to get maid service they did not make the beds, no towels were left in the bathroom and the when they repaired the toilet in my daughter's room because of a leak, they left the filthy rags on the floor of the bathroom. I would rather stay at the Riverside then the River Palms again...and that is saying something. Leia mais

This was our first time away from home on Christmas. Loved the decorations and Christmas music throughout our stay. River Palms is within walking distance to everything we wanted to do. We would travel again to Laughlin during Christmas because of our great experience at River Palms.

Unfortunately my stay was in December, since it is the slow season, the hotel decided to do their renovations at this time....thus, the buffet was closed and there was no workout facilities, and neither did it look like there was any at one time....also i did not get the "perks" of any discounts offered at their restaurants that were still open....luckily […] other hotels were close enough to get my money for food....maybe the hotel is better in the summer, but not right now....stay away!!! Great casino, hotel, location and price. Defenitley recomend.
despite the low fee, casino area is very small and card tables close early. other hotels are within an easy walk, but this hotel does not deserve your casino dollars.

this is one of the hotels we checked in everytime we stay at laughlin. the only thing that I don't like is that there's no coffee maker inside the room...
Good hotel for the price. Room was clean, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Restaurant area downstairs is mostly closed up, but the Dennys is good, and their staff is excellent. A few things are showing signs of needing fixing, but for the bad economy, they're doing ok.

What we liked about this hotel is that it is very quiet. The staff at the front desk are very helpful. Even the security people were very polite and helpful. Will stay there on our next visit. Thank you River Palms

great price...but not a very clean hotel. Room was outdated, dirt on the walls, wall paper and light switches. There was hair painted into the door.

the hotel was nice. the tv service well let's just say was lousy i would have rather had nothing than be irritated by a couple of channels that were not worth watching. after a long plane ride a great tv show and some food (no eats on the plane was starving) would have made for a great day. other than that i thought the hotel was ok. by the way the […] hotel could have included no buffet until sometime in dec. was very disapointed that it was not open.. This was my first time to stay in this hotel. It was good, the room was clean, good price, just the exercise equipment was old and hard to use. Otherwise convenient, clean, and friendly.

"We enjoyed our stay at the River Palms"
Service and hotel was very good for the price. Wish they had an entertainer at night (band or musician). Denny's was bad....bad service and food and a disgrace to the River Palms. Pity about that!! The beds were v. comfortable and service was always excellent. We were 4 adults. The firework show was spectacular.

You have the BEST Bingo hall in Laughton we won 4 times. All of your employees were very friendly. The rooms were the best we have ever stayed at in Laughton. We will be back for sure. Nice clean rooms with reasonable rates. Friendly staff however, televisions.in rooms had very limited channel options.
