had a great time, room wasnt ready when we checked in but after that everything was good. i would stay here again

The resort was beautiful and I'd already decided to revisit upon check-in. The staff was very hospitable. There were lots of activities for the kids. The resort is nice for a weekend getaway. I noticed that the room time stated that you could check in was not accurate. The line to check in was to long and the waiting area was to crowded with guess waiting to have a room assigned. They did accomodate you by extending the check out time.

Units are very spacious. Well maintained and clean. Value was excellent for the price. Within 10 to 15 minutes of Colonial Williamsburg, Busch Gardens and WaterCountry. One small criticism. Check in is not until 4pm (kind of late), but check out time is 10am (kind of early). My key card stopped working on the outside door at 9:30am which slowed packing […] up and then the key card stopped working on unit door exactly at 10am. Unusual policies in my experience. Just got back from our second stay at Greensprings. Location is great, close to Busch Gardens and Water Country USA. Great for our 5 day stay during the hottest week I can remember. Though the room definitely looks and feels a little more worn since our last stay two years ago, still very much the best value for your money in the area. Biggest plus […] is as a renter they didn't push their vacation ownership scam once. They simply told me there was a welcome gift waiting, and I said I would pick it up later. Done. it was perfect for family vacation, good location and clean, wide room and good manner. also wonderfurl pool.

My hotel stay was excellent, we had all the conveniences of home; Full kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 2 bath, washer/ dryer. With amenties, hot tub, pool activities, gym etc. Hotel is in good location to parks, shopping, target- etc. My one and only problem...this is a timeshare, we were required to sit in (90min presentation which was actually 2 hours long). […] Nowhere in the hotel description does it say that. The company tells you that you will get free gifts etc but ultimately there are so many exceptions to using the free 2 nights stay they give you after the sales pitch. Also we received $75 gift card but make sure you read fine print as it expires within 2 months. Anyway this place is really nice except for the sale pitch at the end. For the price the rooms are nice and they keep up the place. The only problem was that the internet wifi didn't work well. I thought they would at least include this in the price. It was nice to have two separate bedrooms. the second bedroom had two twin size and not full beds. Overall I would recommend this hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at the Greenspring's Resort, everyone very friendly and nice when checking in. The indoor and outdoor pool was very clean and big, nice seating furniture if you just want to relax. Activities each day for all ages, my children really enjoyed the movie nights by the pool, it was soooo much fun. Not far at all from Busch Gardens, […] Water Country USA and the tours. We had some very noisy neighbors above us, but we did not let that stop the fun we had at the Resort. I shared pictures and conversation with family and friends about how very nice our vacation was while staying at the Greenspring Resort, and the pictures speak for it. I will definitely come back. Stayed at a 2 bedroom condo with my mom and my three children-7,14, and 17. The decor is dated, but the condo was super clean. The kitchen helped us reduce costs at super pricey Williamsburg and Jamestown. Location was convenient to Colonial Williamsburg and Jamestown Settlement and Historic Jamestown. Greensprings Resort was a delight. Loved the balcony overlooking the golf course - it was a quiet place to have breakfast in the brisk morning air. My husband enjoyed the whirlpool tub which quit working on our second day. A call to maintenance had the tub in working order the very next day. A well stocked kitchen had all the conveniences of home. We […] even did our laundry and took home clean clothes! The staff did ask us to view a 90 minute presentation but we declined and did not feel pressured to participate. The indoor pool area was a nice convenience as not many children were indoors - most were in the outdoor space. We ate one evening meal at the cabana and were served promptly and the hamburger and sides were well worth the reasonable price. The resort provided excellent driving instructions to nearby attractions. Only complaint would be the terribly uncomfortable chairs in the living room. A very pleasant resort. The rooms were scrupulously clean and there was loads of room. The landscaping and atmosphere was very attractive. We would actively consider staying there again if we revisit the region. The only drawbacks were the dated decor (they are renovating the resort on a progressive basis) and the obligatory pitch for timeshares. This was a great place for the price. Very nice pool and good planned activities for the kids. Only a few min. From shopping restaurants and an hour from the beach. We liked that it was a bit secluded from all of the Williamsburg traffic. Will stay again for sure!

The condo was beautiful for the same price as an ordinary 3 star hotel room! Hotels.com provides 2 different "check availability" options: 1 for timeshare tour required, and 1 that's optional. We had an awesome time. Take the timeshare option if you're interested but know ahead of time what you're getting into: a pushy salesperson. The pool area was […] everything you could want at a pool: food & drink bar, kiddie pool, hot tub, music, sun bathing, etc. You absolutely cannot swim from the indoor pool into the outdoor pool although they are adjacent to each other. The entire community is guarded at the gate with limited access. Service personnel were going about doing their duties throughout the day, grounds keepers maintaining, everything was clean, and tip top. We're not smokers but the bedding was covered with smoke, don't know if it's a hotel-wide policy or not but the condo was non-smoking. Don't know when their policy went into effect but obviously smoking was allowed somewhere sometime. Kitchen, dining room, and living room came in very handy for our family of 5. Leia mais

This was a great place, but people should be aware that it is not a hotel . Very clean , convenient and ver roomy two bedroom condo. Pool area and amenities were great.

Excellent front desk staff and clean, spacious rooms. Very affordable too

Great place. Lots of amenities and pleasant staff . Our condo was well supplied, very clean. Only negative is parking is a pain if you return late in the evening.

The Clerks were great. The outside of the hotel and room wer great. We had a cracked window in the master bedroom, light bulb out in the bathroom, and I don't know what the celing was made out of but it must have been cardboard. Every step, getting and out of bed, and other sounds you can thimk of could be heard plain as day. If we were in the top level […] room I would have given this hotel a 5 out of 5. It would be nice if housekeeping would check the condition of rooms and at least let the people know if there is an issue before one is found. Leia mais

NO WHERE AT HOTELS.COM does it tell you that you MUST attend a 90-120 min sales pitch of the timeshare resort! I was floored when I arrived thinking that I found a nice, but somewhat costly place. A hotel would have been cheaper not requiring a tour! There are better deals out there-look around. The resort was lovely and enjoyable. The required sales pitch for a timeshare was ridiculous and insulting. We did not realize this resort was a timeshare since we found it on the internet and there was no reference to that. The managers' sales pitch was intrusive, insulting and judgemental. That we should decide to spend $26,000+ on the spur of the […] moment when we were just on a vacation was the height of irresponsibility. Do not bring your wallet to this sales pitch. Great deal for the price. We needed two rooms and it was much less expensive, much nicer, and more room than two hotel rooms. Our unit could have used some updating, but was very clean and a good layout. Our teenage girls used the very nice pool daily and the setting on the golf course was lovely. Did not have time to take advantage of other amenities, […] but they looked nice. Convenient to Busch Gardens, historic Williamsburg and a good grocery store is nearby. This resort was much busier in June than it was in May when we visited. Somehow the resort didn't get the special request we placed on Hotels.com for twin beds as we are a family of six. They remedied the situation well & gave us the requested room in a friendly professional manner. Fully stocked kitchen with all plates, cups, cookware, & full size […] fridge. The coffee maker is a Cuisenart which takes regular filters -no Keurig coffee maker. There are two individual bags of coffee, but if staying longer than a couple days it's best to get some at the grocery. The location is wonderful! It's on the Jamestown side of town -saught after location for residents -in a gated community, & close to most things. Situated on Monticello Avenue, 5 miles from Colonial Wmsbrg, and a couple miles from Jamestown Settlement. Also, a short drive from Target, Martin's Grocery, Starbucks, Blockbuster Video, Chick-fil-a, Moe's mexican, Petsmart, Kidsburg Park (large wooden park), St. Bede Catholic church, Wmsbrg Community Chapel, Panera Bread, Trader Joes, Barnes & Noble, movie theaters & restaurant row (Richmond Rd). Yet, in a quiet neighborhood with lots of trees, playgrounds, pools, small gym, 1/2 basketball court & a so/so mini golf course (extra fee to play). Easy connection to 199 for Busch Gardens, Water Country USA, & President's Park. Also off the 199 on the way to Busch Gardens is the Wmsbrg Winery. Just about anywhere in Wmsbrg is 15 min, 20 min max. Walmart is 20 min on the 199 towards Toano. Enjoy your stay! Leia mais

security over kill 24 hour gard at gate and you go through no less than 3 locked doors to every condo i felt like i was in the opening credits of get smart. makes in a bit of a pain to get in your bags. the full kitchen and washer and dryer were very handy. pool and bar are very nice. lot to do on resort. over all very nice place

Great location. Not far from BUsch gardens, water park, and colonial Williamsburg. Enjoyed our weekend stay. NIce amenities, beautiful out door pool. ALway people at the pool one night they had a movie. it was great and very relaxing. All of our kids enjoyed even the teenagers.

Spacious accommodation. More than enough room for a large family. Everything (paint, carpet, furniture, appliances, linens, etc.) was reasonably new.

every thing was very fine except the tour , they say it takes 90 minutes it took us 4 hours for them trying to convice us to buy time shares i was not happy at all we were supposed to spend the half day at watercountry usa we could not because of the tour , i wish i knew and not sign up for the tour or take any of their gifts offers

more than expected, upon check in we asked for a refurbished room but none were available, so we were not sure what we would get. the condo was very nice, clean , comfortable, nice balcony, steam shower, full kitchen and washer/dryer. Staff very friendly and helpful and as shown on the rating above, we were very satisfiel. I have one suggestion, our room was on the 3rd floor, This was not a problem for us as we were only staying one night and only had a small amount of luggage, however had we been staying longer and had to carry groceries or lots of luggage, it would have been hard […] for us. So, when reservations are being made we should be made aware of the floor if there is not an elevator. Leia mais

We had a nice stay - wasn't as nice as the photos depicted on the websites, but was good for what we needed. We'd probably stay in Williamsburg for a short trip like ours again. We did like that there was a lot of space in the rooms, but they are a little dated, but yet very clean. This is a Diamond Resorts Timeshare Facility, they push you to take the Tour of about two hours. That is the only drawback to the property.

We spent 5 days at Greensprings in a bright, very clean 2 bedroom 2 bath, full kitchen unit. We had read the reviews, and only made this decision after finding no room at our first choice, but we were very pleased. This would be our new first choice. The ONLY deficiencies were they provided twin bed sheets for a double bed pull out sofa (replaced so […] quickly that they must have been standing outside our unit as we placed the call to ask for replacements), and that the living room furniture was a bit dated, but no more so than our family room furniture. This was not an updated unit (at least it did not have granite countertops), but everyone who came in (we had 15 people in and out over the 5 days) was impressed. Our other concern was location, but it was amazingly short travel time (on a major road, with few lights) to local shops and restaurants, the William and Mary campus, Richmond Road and Colonial Williamsburg. A final word, we were called about the time share sales, but we explained that we down there for a one time event (graduation), and they never called back. Leia mais

Wow just wow!!! You could not get anything better ! We went to sight see and tour like we usually do but we did not want to leave the condo. ever at all!!! It had everything we needed and more!!!

Thin walls, as we could hear the kids above us running back and forth all night, but we will definately return.

Beautiful except for the kitchen and bath cabinets - I am a kitchen designer so I notice! They were beat to shreds but everything else was really beautiful - linens were very nice and the facilities were first class! I could live there!

The hotel was awesome we love the spacious & clean living arrangements bed was really comfortable. I made breakfast for my family and found everything I needed we wanted for nothing. Prices fit the accomadations

The place was nice. When my wife and I arrived for our honeymoon though, we were already being hassled about a timeshare. I gave them a firm "no" (this was 10pm). the next morning the conceirge called our room to ask if we wanted to go to the such-and-such time meeting they had scheduled us for. I told her we just wanted to enjoy our honeymoon but she […] wouldn't stop babbling so I hung up on her. Didn't bother me again after that. the room was clean but the shower door was off its track and one of the nozzles in the hot tub was pointed at an angle that made it shoot water OVER the side of the tub and onto the floor. If you can deal with the timeshare hassle it's worth the stay...overall it was a nice place in a nice area...very close to many attractions. Leia mais

Excellent play to stay! We had a 2 bedroom condo which was enormous! So comfortable! Loved the jetted tub in the master bathroom. Extremely clean! We would love to go back when it was warmer to take advantage of the pool.

This vacation resort is a must stay location. The Williamsburg area is fabulous community that I am sure you will enjoy. Thanks!
