Quem busca excelente localizacao, onde gastos c transporte somente se faz necessario se for ate Sul de Manhattan...resto a pe sem problemas...nada q um bom tenis e alongamento nao resolvam! 02 Quadras de Times Square e dos principais Teatros! O hotel praticamente não tem nada ao redor, só um 7/11 que quebra bem o galho. Porém é muito rápido se deslocar de lá até qualquer lugar de carro; exceto Nova Iorque - pegue o trem. O quarto é limpo e confortável e os funcionários são educados. O café da manhã é simples, mas resolve. Pelo valor, vale a pena com certeza.

My family came away feeling like we found a diamond in the rough. The Kimberly was fantastic and the staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. Highly recommend this hotel and will absolutely stay here again.

"Great Midtown location"
Great when traveling with a family- lots of closet space, comfy bed, two TV's, balcony. Nice staff. Two rooms and a kitchen.
"Kimberly New York"
The standard rooms at the Kimberly are huge by NYC stanards, but dated and worn. The living room furniture and carpet looks like it may not have been replaced for decades, and the room sure could use a fresh coat of paint. That being said, the bathroom seemed to be clean and the beds were comfortable. Room temperature could not be controlled.

The location is fabulous. We stayed in a suite, which is quite spacious. We requested an interior or quiet room and it was indeed extremely quiet. Very pleased with that aspect. Furnishings need to be updated; bed was hard, but tolerable. Bathroom was remodeled and nice. Folding closets are extremely outdated, but spacious. TV's are updated flat screens […] and large, very nice. Kitchen is very convenient. Could be an excellent hotel, but in need of updated furniture and light fixtures. Older hotel, so it is quiet. Great location in midtown. Near Rockefeller Center, and walking distance to Central Park and Times Square. Very comfortable room. Will definitely stay there again.
"Large suite, Great Location"
We stayed in a one bedroom suite, which was very spacious. Easy walking distance to shopping and Times Square. Very friendly staff and a neat rooftop bar. I would stay here again.

"great value"
the room was a bit old and used, but this is true to a lot of NYC properties. Having said that, I do think it was a great value. Very very nice, cordial, helpful staff! Bed was extremely comfortable...slept like a baby. Would recommend.

The room that we got was worn out. I had known that many of the rooms have been refurbished, but that is not the one we got. I could not recommend this hotel unless I knew that the other person would get one of the "fixed up" rooms. I was envious of my sister's room on the front and refurbished. I was on the fourth floor back and felt like it was the […] basement. Her room was beautiful! I feel like they have tried to do a lot of things right, but the room was too warm even though the heat was off and it was cold outside. The lovely linens on the bed were filled with the down and fit for a coldness that was not there! Way too much bed covers! The sheet was almost enough! They need to have lighter inserts. "Quiet and friendly hotel"
I hadn't realized the rooms were 1 bedroom suites! Apartments, really, with full kitchens. We had two rooms - one with a king-sized bed and the other with 2 doubles, and each room had a separate living room with a queen-sized sofa bed. The beds were extremely comfortable. Very quiet hotel...did not hear traffic or other guests. It was a nice neighborhood, […] but a little off the beaten track (midtown east). However, there is a subway stop one block away. Not bad for the price I paid. The front lobby is not that of a true 4 star hotel but my room was large by city standards and the overall decor was very nice. Only negative ws my room location which was a courtyard view of all the mechanicals. Always seem to get the low floor with crappy views when booking through h.com
"Best Night in New York I've Ever Had"
This hotel was amazing. The outside of the building, ignoring the entrance way, doesn't look like anything special but this is misleading. The first receptionist we met seemed a bit grumpy, but the one working the next day was quite cheerful. The room was incredibly tidy, well furnished, and well lit. The abundance of windows let in a nice natural light […] during the day, and the bustle of the noisy streets below could barely be heard when it was time for bed. The bed was very comfortable and fresh feeling. Having a balcony was nice, but the lack of furniture out there, or suitable to bring out there was somewhat of a detractor. Its in easy walking distance to time square and plenty of great restaurants. My only regret is that we didn't get to try out the Upstairs restaurant on the roof. Perhaps next time! Leia mais

The hotel staff was great, very courteous and friendly. The room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel is a little older, but still well kept. The Upstairs lounge is a nice spot for a drink with beautiful views of the city. Considering the busy midtown location, the room was very quiet, and we had no trouble sleeping. I would stay there again, I […] think it was a great value. Nikki Midtown is right next door - great if you want to "see and be seen" at a "name" place in the city. This was my second stay and I just love this place! THey have opened a penthouse bar and restaurant with a stunning view of the Chrysler Building and a nice wine by the glass selection. It was lovely sitting up there in a fierce rainstorm talking with very friendly people. My room was wonderful - very quiet with a large bed and robes. I found the hotel room to be quite loud from street noise, even though I was on the 21st floor. This could have been due to the windows (which like the room) which appeared old and did not seal tightly.

Impressive hotel, the location is a little out of the way, but probably that was more of a concern for us than usual as it rained during our trip. The rooms are huge, and have a lot of amenities such as robes, slippers, a full kitchen with dinnerware, and extra towels and bedding in the room. The value for the price was very high. The hotel was wonderful, the staff treated us beyond our expectations from the minute we walked in. They were vey accomodating with an early check-in. The hotel has an excellent Sunday buffet in the Penthouse. Will definately book this hotel again.

I stay at the Kimberly often. Somehow, this stay didn't have the great "at home" feeling that it has in the past, and the front desk service was not that responsive. My son and I stayed at the Kimberly recently. We were both delighted. The staff is terrific, and extend themselves constantly--from wading out in the snow for a cab for us, to bringing items we forgot right up to our room. "The Kimberly Hotel - would stay again"
I believe you get what you pay for and in quality over quantity. Then Kimberly Hotel in NYC exceeded my expectations given the reasonable price. The location was excellent, a quick walk to Rockafeller center and a nearby subway station made travel around the city a breeze. The room while a little dated in decor, was clean and comfortable. "A Hidden Gem!"
Having stayed at the Kimberly Hotel on many occasions, it has easily become our favorite. The location is about 5 or 6 blocks from Times Square. "A New York Hotel With Spacious Rooms"
We enjoyed the space with a sitting room and separate bedroom for a reasonable price in a great location. The hotel in a good location and has a fabulous bar on top. Highly reccommend the bar! Workout facility at hotel is ok but you also have use of the NY Racquet Club which is outstanding. We would stay at the boutique hotel again.

"overpaid for quality of our room"
Supposed to be a Christmas treat for the family. Our bed was horrendous!! Our girls slept on foldout couch. They literally had to put pillows underneath them. Obviously ours had not been updated wish we could have left after first night. Got stranded in ny due to blizzard. Tried the Affina hotel near Madison square garden. "Be sure to stay at the Kimberly Hotel NYC"
I can not say enough wonderful things about this Hotel. Te rooms, and staff were beyond expectations. It seemed as though they were always a step ahead of you. When it rained, they were waiting there with Kimberley Umbrellas for you. When we asked the concierge about a restaurant, she gave us several options, and when we decided, she even called and […] made the reservations for us...even if it was right then when we wanted to eat. The men who took care of our luggage were so polite and helpful. We were snow bound an extra day and they even accomodated our stay over an extra night with no problems. Although NYC is expensive in December, it is worth the extra money to stay at the Kimberley NYC. You will not regret it. If you are looking for clean rooms and great service, this is the place for you. It was also a really safe place to stay with the Subway's right around the corner and up the street. "Kimberly Hotel- Central to NYC -Must see sights"
We arrived Friday evening- and immediately headed for Rockefeller Center- to view the tree, ice skating rink, and the angels. Had dinner at Ellen Stardust Diner- 51st and Broadway " very entertaining"...then a walk down to Time Square. We even enjoyed the walk back to the hotel. Sat. we enjoyed a lovely breakfast at the diner next door to the hotel […] before tackling the metro- first stop WTC- and St.Paul chapel... Century 21 for shopping...Staten Island ferry and back (Statue of Liberty).. more shopping at Canal Street...back uptown for a drink at The Plaza... we skipped the carriage ride around Centrel Park- as it was already dark- but this made the walk down 5th Avenue spectacular...the Christmas decorations were wonderful...a quick change for dinner next door to the hotel Nikki's Beach rounded out the day. (We would have conclued with a night cap - at the hotel rooftop lounge-Upstairs- but is was closed due to "private party"... A bottle of wine in the room worked just as well...Sunday mass at St Patrick's Cathedral a 3-4 block walk concluded our NYC experience..this visit! I was the only one of our party the had previously been to NYC- so as relative novices we managed the Metro- fairly well- we learned about "express lines" they do not make every stop on the line- also certain lines do not travel the full line..ie green line- 4,5,6... We were smart to get the day pass/Fun pass- as this gave us unlimited access to the metro and bus lines. We enjoy walking and the weather - although brisk early Dec.was accommodating. Next visit will include South Street Seaport-Pier 17, a walk to City Hall and a view of the Brooklyn Bridge- maybe even a partial walk over for a photo opportunity of the skyline! The kimberly is located in a perfect postion close to many attractions. We found it easy to walk to most and catching the subway was easy to get to the rest. There is a wonderful diner next door which is very handy. Very safe area.

The only negatives that we experienced were an inexperienced check-in girl who was not very helpful when asked for information and an inoperative digital touch-screen brochure in our room that failed to provide us with information about hotel services. "Excellent small hotel in a prime location"
We have stayed in this hotel before and really appreciate the small details that make this a wonderful place to stay. The Penthouse was open for this stay and the breakfast buffet was a very nice way to start the day.

"Worst bed I ever tried to sleep on."
The bed sagged and was lumpy. Sleep was impossible. I wouldn't stay there again unless I was guaranteed a new bed. Also, no remote control in the bedroom (we were upgraded to a suite.)

I've never had a "favorite" hotel in NY. Normally look for the best rate. But The Kimberly is now my favorite and I will stay there in the future. The staff was very friendly. The room as huge by NY standards. And very comfortable. The bar on the top floor was beautiful with an incredible view. There was nothing to not like.

"The Kimberly Hotel in NYC - be aware"
My reservation was for a king sized bed with smoking. Upon checkin I found that they had my reservation as non-smoking. The desk staff were kind and said they would "upgrade" us to a one bedroom suite with a balcony so we could smoke there. However, the one bed was a full size so it was tiny and the room itself was very old and dingy, the electrical […] outlets/lights were fairly scary and would give us shocks when we turned the lights on/off. The balcony was useful for smoking, but since the room was on the fourth floor, it was very noisy and made sleeping even more difficult along with the tiny bed. We didn't eat there at all, but did find a nice luncheonette next door that had great food for very reasonable prices and a mart across the street for us to buy soda. The location was good, but based on the pictures of the hotel/rooms, etc., I expected much MUCH nicer rooms. It all seemed very old and out of date. The staff, especially the doormen, were very nice and helpful, but there is no way I can say this hotel was worth the money. Not even close to being worth the money. Leia mais
