I was a little wary of choosing a hotel on the internet. This hotel/resort was so conveniently located, staff were so polite and helpful and the room/suite had more comfort than I expected. Everything was very clean and comfortable. Even the hallways of the hotel smelled clean, looked clean.

This was the nicest place we have ever stayed at in our travels. The room was spacious, so comfortable, and the staff friendly and willing to help. We highly recommend it.

We were a party of three adults so we specifically requested two beds. When we arrived, the room had one bed and a sofabed. We asked the desk to move us to a room with two beds, but we were told that our request was just that -- a request -- and they had no rooms left with two beds, and we were out-of-luck. Hotel was an apartment complex, so there was no maid service (a plus to me because who needs people barging in when they are not welcome). I reserved this hotel for my girlfriend's birthday. Splurging a little on much needed alone time, as we both have kids. I had stayed there before with family and enjoyed the stay so much I decided to go again and share the experience with her. The location is close to a nice "touristy" area. Tons of little shops and great food within a few blocks walking […] distance. We had planned on going out for some local nightlife but really loved the room and hotel in general so much we decided to stay in and enjoy it together. Yeah.. we will be going back again. We were pleased with Villas de Santa Fe. The facilities and suites were very nice and the staff was helpful and friendly. The price was good for much more than a hotel room. The location was within easy walking distance of the downtown plaza, galleries and museums.

Both my wife and I enjoyed our stay at the Villas. We were very pleased with the friendly curteous staff, Room was very romantic for our weekend getaway. It was so convenient to the plaza. We are definitely going back every chance we get........

I can highly recommend this hotel! It is several blocks from the Plaza in Santa Fe. The only thing you should know is that it is a timeshare and you will not get maid service unless you pay extra. If that doesn't bother you, go for it!

I stayed for a weekend conference in the plaza. Staying at the Villas saved a fair bit over staying right on the plaza and it was only a few blocks from the plaza. I didn't use the pools or hot tubs, but they seemed nice and accessible. Beautiful condo in time share facility. No maid service unless you pay extra but this was not a problem for us; I certainly don't clean everything every day at home! Close to the Plaza and to the Highway for seeing the surrounding area. Santa Fe is wonderful.

We liked everything about this hotel. The hotel had a lot of amenities: a well-equipped kitchen, a sofa bed, 2 large TV's. In the lobby there was free computer usage and free coffee and drinks. This is exactly what we needed for a last minute decision to stay in Santa Fe. Quiet neighborhood, close to everything, FRIENDLY staff, comfortable king-sized bed, enough conveniences for eating in with small children. We stayed in a 2 bed room, had a pullout couch bed also with 2 flat screen tvs, stove, microwave, refridgerator, dishes, silverware, a full table, rocking sofa chair, all sparkling clean and updated and new looking. Wonderfullllllllll room and the workers were helpful as well. Best hotel experience ever! :)

We were very impressed with the accommodations at Villas de Santa Fe! Units are apparently time-share condo units that are offered on hotels.com if they are not occupied. Our unit had a fully stocked kitchen, which was really nice. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Their free shuttle can take you around the downtown area. Overall, the stay was […] an incredible value for the money! Not sure why the rating is 2.5. Accommodation standards were 5.0 in my opinion! I read elsewhere that housekeeping was not daily. That was the case with us. Management, this is an easy fix, I would think! We were there only two nights, so not a big deal. Nonetheless, the unit was so nice that it was really like a home away from home with a nice southwestern decor. The property was walking distance to all downtown points of interest, including the main Plaza. We were so fortunate to find this place. Our plans were changed because of weather. This was a total "winging it" type of vacation. All the pluses for us were within walking distance, but the cool thing was the availability of the hotel's shuttle as part of their service. Amazing!!

This place is located a short pleasant walk from the downtown plaza, and is also easily accessible by car via Paseo de Peralta. And it is clean. And it had a kitchen with basic dishes/utensils. I give it three stars for the following reasons. One, no amenities. Not a big deal for us on this particular trip, but if you are a room service person, obviously […] a problem. Two, no view at all -- just our car in the parking lot. Three, the room decor was very cold; dark metal wall hangings, or wood painted to look like metal. Hated it. Fourth, without asking or telling us, we were put in a wheelchair accessible room. (We are not wheelchair bound.) Which means very little horizontal space. Bathroom vanity small, no dresser in bedroom other than a small one holding up the flat sreen TV, with no place to put your personal items. So we put our things on top of the TV cabinet in the living room. And no desk. Worst of all, the bathroom was not private; you had to walk from the living room THROUGH THE BATHROOM to get to the bedroom. So if you want privacy, your partner needs to stay in one place until you're done. I only stayed one night, but the service was very friendly. We wanted a hotel close to historic downtown Santa Fe and that's what we got. It's close to where we wanted and the room was very nice for the price. We didn't use any of the amenities, so I can't comment on that, but they did explain they have a 24 hour recreation room.

Easy to find in Santa Fe. Walking distance to the Plaza and other sights (5 blocks). Easy day trip to Taos. Multiple casinos located within 30 minutes. Rooms nice when traveling with children (2 tvs and separate sleeping areas). Rooms were clean and functional with a balcony to get some fresh air. Drawbacks, building not connected to the main check-in […] area (across the street), have to pay for wi-fi in room or use for free in the lobby, hallway noise audible within the room. I stayed in this hotel during a 5 week road trip across the USA and it was by the far the best place we stayed. From the friendly, helpful reception staff to the very comfortable and clean apartment my husband and I couldn't fault this accommodation. Pleasant setting, especially good for large groups, family gatherings. Convenient to Santa Fe Plaza and other central areas. Desk staff very friendly and helpful.

I was pleasantly surprised when we checked into this hotel because it was not a hotel but rather more of a condo feel. You can have maid service but it costs extra. I LOVED the in room coffee maker and frig. We went to the local starbucks and got coffee beans and were set for the week. Awesome place, great price. My only reservation is the paper thin walls and noisy neighbors all around.

Thia is not an hotel and therefore did not receive room clean up service during our stay. The clerk made it very clear, apologetically, that this is a time share and not a regular hotel. We were very disappointed with Hotels.com that they promised us two dbl beds and we had a room with one king. There were no other openings and the clerk stated "We […] cannot promise bed arrangements and Hotels.com should know this." Otherwise the room w/sitting area was delightfully comfortable and the ambiance was very nice. The kitchen area was nicely equipped and what we needed the clerk provided readily. Friendliest staff around!!!!! We loved it!! Pictures were old- so I was not expecting to have such a beautiful room. It was so clean- it felt like we were the 1st to stay there! Hotel SO close to town!!

This is a timeshare. The HVACsystem was not working. controls on thermostat not adequate.too hot or too cold. Opened door to cool it off. Icemaker did not work in refrig. general condition of furniture is tired, This place has been in and out of bankruptcy and still needs a lot of money to improve the rooms. Lobby is fabulous.

Santa Fe plaza area parking is not free and not easy to get. The hotel fixed that problem but we had to walk to the plaza, about 20 mins. Driving to the nearest mini mall with a discount clothing store and a supermarket was about 5mins. Gas station was just by the main road. Hotel (more like a 3 floor apartment) staff was very courteous and accomodating. […] The room I got was at the corner of the main walkway and door. This made it very noisy by 8am. The whole experience was great. From check in to check out the staff was very nice and helpful. The room was more than we expected. Great for the 4 of us. Will be back for sure.

We are very impressed with these rooms. We have stayed here two years in a row and will definitely come back. Staff is courteous and helpful and rooms are very clean and well appointed.

We stayed at the Villas of Santa Fe for two nights, had a great time there, great weather, a perfect get-away. The Villas was more than we expected for a more-than-great price. It was close to everything, so we parked the car in the complimentary lot and left it there the whole time. Booked this room based off of other customer reviews. I was amazed at how nice this place really was. Newly remodeled rooms with excellent amenities. I would recommend this place to anyone staying in Santa Fe.

I was very happy with this hotel. The location is so great, very close to plaza and also to road leading up to ski area. We got such a great deal on the rate, I was super happy. Our winter stay at this facility was great. The bed was comfortable. The Plaza was within walking distance. There was a mall close by with a grocery store, theater, and a few shops. The area was having problems with record low temps and the pipes broke, but they were up and running within a few hours. The staff kept us informed of the status of the […] water. The rooms at the Villas de Santa Fe are excellent and extremely comfortable. Ours looked like it had been recently remodeled. It's only a ten minute walk to the middle of downtown! Our room was really nice, very comfortable and quite convenient to the plaza and other places we like to visit. The only downsides of our stay were a few encounters with rude staff, which really dampened our enjoyment of this facility. It was much better than I expected. The guys behind the desk were very corteous and they offer you free coffee, juice and teas in the lobby for the remainder of your stay. The place was very nice and classy, decorated in the Southwestern style it was a cozy and warming environment. Great spot, nice room. Will drop you off and pick you up within 3 mile radius. Very convenient.

Would recommend Villa de Santa Fe - service was great - place was clean, shuttle service came in very handy. Would definitely stay there again.
