"Nice Hotel"
I enjoyed my stay at the Showboat Hotel.. The room was nice and the service was good. I really enjoy their buffet... The only thing I didn't like that the Showboat is a bit far from the other hotels..other wise I would stay there again.. Price Was Right....
"Ducks in a row"
When we first checked in we were given a room that was all retie was occupied, and then the next morning we went out to go back to the room at 10am to fiend the food we had in the frig ,that we spent good $ on was thrown in the garbage (by the House keeper ) because we did not put a DO NOT DISTERB sine on the door and we had not yet checked out

"Anniversary Trip..."
This was our 1st time staying at Showboat!!! It was great! This is our new favorite place to stay in AC!!
"Show Boat Disapointed"
I was really disapointed in the Hotel they charged for Parking. Charged for internet service per day had very poor quality work out facilities no pool no hot tub. The food was really poor quality the Seafood buffet says fresh seafood and no fresh seafood was on the buffet no legs no clams and 26 dollars I guess they are so used to giving comps out that […] they dont feel the need to take care of the business traveler. I woke up with the noise of tile cutting and construction on the 2 rooms around me with all the rooms available and lots of the hotel empty why they would put me on the floor that is under construction is beyond me. I had a awesome time. went down for 1 night had a great italian dinner, and then gambled a bit. I eve won $1200 dollars. Had a great time and I can not wait to go back again in the summer!!!!!!
"Our Weekend Vaca"
We made our reservations here on "Hotel's.com. The room was very nice. The check-in process could use some better service though. My wife tried to check in while I was parking our car in the self parking garage "$5.00 by the way". not free parking. The front sesk clerk refused to allow my wife to check in because she didn't book the reservations, I […] did. I had to wait in line with my wife and ( 8 ) yr old son @ 10:00pm to check in. The whole hotel casino reaks of cigarette smoke including the "non-smoking" floor requested, Sorry, I meant "I" requested. There were no decent restaurants open later that evening or the next morning the only place was open was Johnny Rocket's.. Not what we were looking for to eat. We stayed at a "Comfort Inn" last night, Sunday Night outside of AC Rt.30, Actually cost us $10.00 more, "Free Parking", No credit card holding fees. They even served a "Continental Breakfast.. "Quick Getaway"
The Showboat Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City exceeded my expectations. I stayed in the New Orleans towers and to my surprise, the room was very spacious and the bathroom was equally huge. The checkin process took less than 5 minutes and checkout was equally quick. I had one issue with the bathroom tub draining slowly, but it was resolved quickly. The room was good at a not so outrageous price like others. Clean enough for my wife's taste and she's pretty picky on that. I'd easily go back again.

This hotel has probably had better days in the past! It's clean and the location is good. The food quality of the room service is mediocre. The surrounding neighborhood is not so good.

"Do not stay at Showboat"
Generally I stay at Tropicana on my trips to AC but decided to try Showboat for one night on a mid week visit.....what a mistake. Arrived around 10:30pm and it literally took half an hour to check in with only four people ahead of us in line. Only one person working at the front desk who was completely incompetent. Finally after getting to our room […] we find dirty towels under the sink, coffee pot missing, blowdryer and clock radio don't work....light keeps going on and off in room entrance. The place was terrible, but we quickly left to go play poker next door at the Taj. After a longer night than expcted I called the front desk to extend our stay a night so we could get more than two hours of sleep. I was connected to somebody obviously in an office far away from Atlantic City and put on hold for over 15 minutes to then be told I may have to switch rooms and pay a higher rate for a second night. I hung up,'we left quickly and drove to the Trop to get rest, where we checked in quickly and found a nice clean room awaiting us. Showboat.....never ever again. Leia mais

"Room was fine but not as described (again)"
The room was described as having a hand held shower. It doesn't. The shower/tub was very nice and the water temp was very nice and easy to control. Check-in and Check-out was excellent. Valet service helped a lot.

This hotel was awesome. Clean room, nice tv, nice bathroom/shower, nice views. Located at the end of the lineup of casinos, but was not a bad walk to the rest of them. I was strapped for cash so we didn't go to the Showboat casino because we heard Bally's wild west a little down the road had cheap tables so we already had our heart set on it, but it […] seemed like Bally's and Showboat were very comparable. One plus about Bally's wild west was that they had very cheap draft beers and shots, so if you are trying to drink on a budget drink there! "Decent Casino Hotel for the Price"
Honestly, whenever I try to get a room on a holiday or over a weekend, they're outrageous in price in Atlantic City. Even compared to a non-casino hotel, this was still priced well. This was an extremely reasonable price, it's close enough to all major locations (only a $10-$13 cab ride to Borgata and Harrah's). The room service was quick (but I wouldn't […] order the pizza haha). It's also good with a rewards card because it's the same card used for Harrah's, Caesar's and many others. Also, their Italian Restaurant, I believe it's called Casa di Napoli has really good food! I would definitely recommend it to those looking for a decent place to stay at a reasonable price. Leia mais
"Thin Walls and Wine Glasses"
We had 2 issues during our stay: 1. The walls in our room on all sides were thin. We could hear the shower above us, the people next to us, and the loud party 1 door down. The room was clean and nice but it was louder than it should have been at times. 2. Went to Guest Services to ask about getting 2 wine glasses in the room. We were told there would […] be a $7.45 per night for 2 glasses.....they are glasses. We spoke to the TV repair man, remote needed batteries, and he was able to get us 2 for free. "Very convenient"
I'm glad I chose this hotel. I was able to attend a show at House of Blues and didn't have to leave the hotel. I was able to check in early and receive my new rewards card. I was also able to catch the shuttle to do some shopping.

Loved the room at Showboat. Clean, spacious, king bed, extra seating couch, separate toilet from bathroom, large bath tub. The room exceeded my expectations and was extremely comfortable, wanted to stay a second night!

"Enjoyable Hotel"
I stayed in the Orleans Tower which has older furniture and carpeting. Surprising on my visit the room wasn't so bad. One thing I didn't particularly like was the loud music playing outside of the hotel when I attempted to sit outside and get some air or when I was in one of the restaurants and the music was so loud I had to repeat myself serveral times […] to the cashier and visa versa. "Horrible Hotel!"
I was not happy with my stay in the Showboat Hotel! The lights didn't work in the room and the heat didn't work very well either. When I tried to call the front desk, it just rang and rang. I won't stay there again.

I was not at all satisfied with my room. I have stayed at Showboat in the past and really enjoyed my stay, that is why i returned. My prior reservations were booked directly through Showboat. Well, I'm not sure if it is because Ibooked with Hotels.com, but a picture was missing over the bed which the brackets were exposed. One of the doors on the armour […] was missing. The shower head did not spray, the water was just falling down with not much pressure and the floor really needed to be vacuumed. I know Showboat has the potential to be great, but not this time. we changed from Orleans tower deluxe to Bourbon tower deluxe upon check-in to get "smoking" SOOOOO... there were small cigarette burns all over the room( expected), and the sheets had a ridiculous amount of holes from over washing, but were very clean smelling.... Considering it was a smoking building, the smell was not horrible anywhere and my husband […] could light up in comfort while looking and the glorious view of a roof and a wall in his PJ's. There were no extra amenities in the room other than a small soap, a conditioning shampoo, iron, safe and a single cup coffee maker that looked to be broken. There was also no "welcome" how-to folder like most hotels, so we had to guess how to call for reservations for dinner and guess where we wanted them ( RECOMMEND SCARDUCCI'S) and we had to ask a maid for a do not disturb. I always carry a pen but had to write on the back of my confirmation email as there was no stationary to be found ( even motel 6 has that!) I did like the fact that guest floors were only elevator and stairwell accessible with the room key. We wanted to extend the stay a second night and they were not at all willing to work with us because we used hotels.com for the original , so the price was more and the room was in a different tower. ( are you crazy!) I would stay again but probably pay the extra $$ to confirm exactly what we want directly with the hotel. Leia mais

I like staying at Showboat. The rooms are very nice, and are amongst the best standard rooms on the AC boardwalk. The front desk also allowed me to check in early wich was much appreciated.
"Overrated Service Terrible Paper Thin Walls"
Since my husband and I usually stay at 2 to 2 1/2 star hotels, I was looking forward to "upgrading" to a 3 1/2 star hotel. Boy was I disappointed. I've received better service at every 2 star hotel that I've ever been to than at the Showboat. The people behind the desk were extremely unhelpful, and you wait in extremely long lines no matter what time […] of the day or night, unless you are some high rolling gambler (which we are not). The walls in our room were so thin we could hear word-for-word whatever the people next door were saying. They even charge you for internet! The only plus was that the parking way far across the street happened to be free because it was Thanksgiving. Next time I'm in Atlantic City, I'll stay further away at a 2 or 2 1/2 star hotel with thicker walls, better service, a free breakfast, and free parking that's actually close to the hotel. Leia mais

"Showboat in Atlantic City"
I had enjoyed my stay in the hotel. The atmosphere was very peaceful and quiet. The only issue was the food choice in the hotel restaurants early in the week. Mostly fast foods were available since the buffet place closed early.

Since my goal was shopping, not gambling, I was happy when a cheery early check-in was allowed. When I dropped off my bags, I was very pleased by the size and cleanliness of the room. (The beat-up scarred coffee table stood out in contrast. Throw it out, Showboat!) A drawback - distance of about 14 long blocks from shopping - was eliminated by the shuttle […] - free w hotel reservation and gold Total Rewards card - that dropped me at Caesars. After a full day of shopping the outlets w the coupon book included with hotels.com deal, I was impressed by the comfort of the king size bed and quality linens. Ordered up a very reasonably priced delicious salad, and stayed in for a quiet night - heard nothing from the hallway. This was a great deal and I'll do it again. Leia mais
