"The Showboat in Atlantic City"
My husband and I stayed overnight on Monday evening. The room was great but there is nothing going on during the week. We were hoping to catch a show and go to the House of Blues, but there were no shows and the House of Blues was closed. We had a good time anyway. We would stay at the Showboat again but on a weekend next time.

The hotel is conveniently located, i'll give it that. The convenience ends there. The rooms are small, not exactly what I would call clean, and could use some serious updating. Bathtub was egonomic, one which you can relax and soak the whole body for a long time without any pain. It relaxed me after a long day at work!!

We stayed here three other times with no complaints.Room was ready early,They were nice at check in.The room was clean.We stayed in the older Orleans tower.Another good stay.

"Showboat Atlantic City"
Very enjoyable stay, despite not being lucky. We had an early check in, 10 am. The room was beautiful with a great view. I enjoyed the Poker room for a couple of tournaments, the dealers were very friendly and helpful. Johny Rockets for breakfast was a treat. We will be back soon.

"Absolutely a great and fun place to stay in A.C."
My girlfriend and I only stayed for a day at the Showboat, but we had an incredible time. We went for a concert in the House of Blues (which resides in the same building as the Showboat.) The concert was fantastic, the House of Blues is a great venue for any show. As for the hotel we had a room in the Orleans Tower (the Orleans Deluxe) with a king […] size bed. The bathroom is wonderful. Large tubs, big enough for me (5'9") to lay out flat in. The toilet was in the same room, but had it's own door for privacy (so two people could be in the bathroom at one time.) The bed was very plush and comfortable. Had there not been some construction going on in the neighboring building our view would have been much nicer. But we could see the beach/shoreline from our room which was a plus. The building also houses numerous restaurants (a few of which are open 24/7.) We personally ate at the Canal Street Bread & Sandwich Co. since it was open so late, and the food was fantastic. (Get the cheddar and broccoli soup!!!) Aside from the smoking in the casino (as we're non-smokers) we had a blast. The room was clean as was the entire hotel. Workers were very polite, and we went home with a little extra pocket change from the slot machines. We had so much fun we plan on going back for an extended vacation sometime in the near future. Saw Evanecense at 'house of blues'. Stayed at showboat for convenience (venue in hotel & boardwalk right there! ) Clean, nice room.. warm and friendly cocktail waitresses in casino. Why spend$$$$$$$ for newer hotel...when going to see a concert. Park your car and your butt at the show boat and relax!

A great hotel/casino where you can enjoy the slots and tables as well as several excellent restaurants to choose from. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, but could be updated. Fun to walk the Boardwalk and check out the venues and places where you can get reasonably priced food and drinks. Excellent shopping area to within walking distance of the hotel/casino. Clean room, very nice hotel staff, casinos were clean and not filled with cigarette smoke like the other casinos. Johnny Rockets was a nice plus.

Unless you are book a suite, you shouldn't expect too much in AC. This room was bare bones, but clean. For the price we got, it was well worth it.

Over all not a bad stay,just not a great stay. First off the room furniture was worn beyond what I fill as ecceptable. the lack of ventilation in the rooms lead to congestion and a nagging cough for me and my guest.

"Classy hotel with VIP treatment for Pets"
The hotel is very nice inside, it has a Mardi Gras theme. I took my two dogs with me and they were welcomed very nicely. Upon check in, each dog received a gift bag with two nice bowls for water and food, two bags of quality organic treats, a duffle bag keychain filled with disposable bags, a mat for the bowls, and a few bottles of water. Loved my room. Received an upgrade after going to original room and finding that the room had not been cleaned. Got a much bigger room over-looking the ocean. Huge Flat screen TV. The room was clean and roomy. Comfy big bed. Perfect. Nice modern decor. Great places to eat. I would return again. Original room was nice too. Just smaller.

I had a good stay at the hotel. Outside the hotel seemed a bit dirty for my liking. But the casinos & clubs were alright. The price for a Saturday night was not too bad. Overall, good time. Would recommend.

The hotel stay was very nice, clean room, The only drawback no microwave in the room. There was a coffe maker. Bathroom was big and comfortable
