Adam's Mark Buffalo - Buffalo

I'm not one to complain, but the service at the hotel restaurant was the worst I've ever experienced. The indifference and lack of service by the waiter was unbelievable. Food cost was pricy for what you get.

Great location, great service. I was able to reserve adjoining rooms well in advance. Very friendly front desk staff and bar. Don't tell too many people but the wings were better than at the Anchor Bar. Plus if you're lucky you might run into some Bills players -- we did.

The adams mark in buffalo , is very friendly to the quests. very informed on what is going on at the hotel or around buffalo. The bartender interacted (talk) with us and that was a nice added plus

Good location if your going to the hockey game. Maid service was poor . Sheets didnt fit bed and place was under construction. Good price good food and good people though

DIRTY!

As we approached the hotel I was impressed by the gorgeous lobby and courteous staff. But, upon checking in, it went downhill from there. Said that refrigerators were available upon request,....did not state it was a $10 fee. Parking was an additional $10. Floors were very dirty and needed a good vacuuming. Very confusing layout of the hotel with elevators, […] stairs, parking garage entrance. Room was about 40 degrees when we checked in. Took an hour or so to warm up to 68 degrees. Not too bad for what we needed ( a place to crash after a concert) but would not recomend for business stays. Leia mais

The Adams Mark has very kind, friendly, HONEST staff. They were helpful with every aspect of our stay. We were in a rush to check out and I left my diamond wedding set in the bathroom. I had taken my rings off to do my hair. I did not realize this until we were about an hour away. My husband called the hotel. They immediately sent staff up to check […] the room. The front desk called my husband back a short time later and said that it had been found, and that we could come to the front desk to retrieve it. I was very impressed. Our room was also very clean. Hotel is undergoing renovation. Room was clean but had no view- room looked out onto back of another part of the hotel. Was unable to adjust the heat in room. Pool was heated which was great. Location is convenient to transportation. It is walking distance to Greyhound bus terminal or a short bus ride from airport. However, not many places to eat within […] walking distance. just was not satisfied with room,alarm clock cord was cut , lots of construction, pool was cold,had to ask for towels in our room,can tell what the difference is between a excutive room and a normal room ,but there is definitely a price diffference

Found a fake eyelash in room, when housekeeping came to change sheets did not tuck them in. Room also smelled like smoke and heater did not seem to work well. Breakfast at hotel restaurant is atrocious, the food was cold at the buffet line and the items that are suppose to be cold (milk, fruit, orange juice) were warm. we had to vacate our room at 2.30 am.some alarm. All assembled in the main lobby. Nobody told us what the problem was and there was no leadership of the situation. We all returned to our rooms and hoped all was ok and I guess it was. Other than that all was very good

enjoyed the hotel with the following reservations. presently is being renovated. when done will be exceptional, but at present one must put up with dust & noise. one lasting problem is the antiquated heating system in the rooms. in order to maintain temp. the unit came on and off all night, very noisy and not conducive to a comfortable sleeping condition. […] constant noise from the heating woke us up. needs to be updated!!!!!!!! We stayed 2 nights for back to back Sabres games. Hotel was under construction but did not interfere with our weekend. Very close to First Niagra Centre,,we walked both nights to and from. Always an excellent stay for the $$$.

It's not everyday that I get to stay in an hotel that is so awful that I couldn't just let it go and move on with my life. Every once in a while you will encounter a hotel that is so bad that even on top of the disgusting and filth that blankets this hotel the staff are so clueless that they would have tripped over the cordless phone. I would like to […] be nice about this review but I really have no sympathy for this hotel that calls itself "The Hotel of Buffalo" I want to take you through start to finish. My experience starts off like this. It was the end of Thanksgiving weekend. I had driven up from The Carolina's. It had taken me extra long because everyone and their mother was driving home from visiting with family for the holidays. I arrived around 3 am in the morning after driving 20 hours in a car. I pull up front and walk inside. I already had a reservation for this hotel. I walked up to the counter and a man(that looked like he was sleeping) hears me come in and walks up to the counter as if I was bothering him. "Can I help you?" , says the front desk agent. I have a reservation. He quickly brings up my booking and prints out a key. Mind you, at this point there is no hello, welcome to the Adams Mark or anything like that. The only thing I got is, "you will have to pay for parking and it is 10 dollars a day." He said the total would be 20 dollars for the two days. I was confused. 3 o'clock in the morning is the next day! The man wanted me to pay for the prior day. I mean come on that is just cheap and ignorant to take my money for a day I was not there. I brushed that off and since it was so late, I just wanted to get to sleep after a long day of driving. I was on my way out and realized the man never told me where to go. I had to go back into the hotel and ask him where I should park. I pointed out the door and told me to find the parking garage on the right. We stayed here because it was walking distance to the Buffalo Sabres game. It was only like a 15 minute walk to the arena. There were a few bars along the way to do some pre game drinking. The room itself was nice and clean, but there was nothing special about it. Its just your normal hotel room. You definitely pay for the hotel location. Old tv in […] the room too. My wie and I went to the hockey game. The hotel offers parking in a secure lot for $10 and it's an easy 5 block walk to the arena. They also had a nice happy hour before the game so we saved money there also. Easy on and off also.

I had reserved two rooms with a request that they be adjoining. When we checked in, the front desk said they only had a record of one room. When I produced my receipt from hotels.com, they said that someone must have canceled the second room becuase they didn't think one person would want two rooms. They were unable, at that point, to fulfill my request […] for adjoining rooms because all those types of rooms were booked. Also, none of the other rooms were clean, so all of us stayed in one room until the second room would become available. I was originally told it would be 15 minutes or so. After 15 minutes, I went back to the lobby to check and was told it would be another 15 minutes. 90 minutes later, the second room still wasn't available and at that point we asked to speak with a manager. The manager waived the onsite parking fee and offered drink vouchers (which we declined). When we said we didn't need drink vouchers, we needed the other room, the manager finally upgraded our second room to a king bed suite. I was traveling with two young children, so I stayed in the standard room with them and my girlfriend stayed in the king suite. The king suite was very nice and the standard room was fine except one of the comforters was stained. The bathrooms were in good working order, but the ice machine on my floor (6th) was not working. We did have room service following the Sabres game and it was very good. The pool was just ok and there was no hot tub. Overall, I would say the location is great if you're in town for a Sabres game and are planning on walking to the First Arena. I am certain that our stay would have been much more enjoyable if we had received our initial reservation of two adjoining rooms, and, although the staff wasn't very proactive about our situation, they eventually made things right. We booked a Executive Two Doubles, it was very small and when a roll away bed was added it was very, very tight. The roll away was not in the room when we arrived, but was delivered in good time. Once there it blocked the entrance to the bathroom and the door. I was told that this room had a larger floor plan, I wonder how small the regular room was. ROOM SMELLED VERY BAD...HOTEL NEEDS A RENOVATION.... VERY DIRTY ...WILL NEVER STAY AGAIN

Easy to get to. Walking distance to lots of restaurants/ attractions. Rooms was comfortable. Staff were friendly. No complaints

All good except no I-pod docking station or flat screen tv as advertised for our room

The Adams Mark staff was one of the most gracious and friendly I have ever encountered. The front desk and restaurant staff were especially accommodating. Unfortunately, the Internet support staff was not at all helpful, and I had no wireless Internet in my room for the duration of my stay. It was very clean and quite comfortable. Overall a pretty good deal for a nice place. Would've like a mini fridge, though.

We stayed here on a stop over having traveled up from New York City on our way to Niagara Falls. The location of the hotel was really handy and easy to find just off the motorway. The room was good value with four of us sharing a family room comfortably. I upgraded room to an Executive King due to needed the space. I arrived at Hotel and was told they did not have the room I booked and paid for the prior month. I booked through Hotels.com and was holding an e-mail confirmation that they refused to even look at. They said I would have to take it up with them. Cut and dry. They had given Hotels.com another confirmation number and clearly had made a mistake, but took no ownership to it at all without even an "I'm sorry but..." Everything was great, location,etc. My traveling companion and I had the worst beds in our rooms. Besides the fact that the mattresses were lumpy and old (the tops were spilling over the sides) they were made with too short of sheets. I woke up with the uncovered mattress by my face. Both of us felt the same.

The hotel is undergoing renovations and in its current state is not worth the price. The non-renovated floors (all but the executive floor) are dirty and shabby with filthy carpets and lights without globes lining the hallways. The rooms, although they have new carpet, seem very shabby. The main problem was cost from Airport when I called about shuttle was told they had one but for only airline personal only? A guest is a guest my money was the same as theres un real. Room had duct tape in the shower to cover hole in the wall.

They didnt have a "Clean" room available for me. Left me in the bar at midnight.. never came back to tell me my room was ready.

we booked the room @ 7pm and arrived @ 11pm only to have to wait an hour for our room to be cleaned. Not impressed at all expecially with 2 young children. Bathroom was smelly, bath tub drain was blocked (water slow to go down), 3 towels for 4 ppl, no shampoo, 1 bar of soap for both wash basin and bathing. This was the worse hotel stay. Our cable did not lock into the weather channel or the discovery channel. Really could have used the weather channel since we were in for the Garden Walk. Not the cleanest of rooms around the edges like ceiling, windows, etc. Radio reception was virtually nonexistent. Missed my NPR on Sunday!

For the amount we paid, this hotel had little to no amenities. I was extremely disappointed at how uncomfortable the sheets were, the fact that room service was suspended during our stay there (and breakfast was uncreative and overpriced for what we got), and generally, the staff just seemed annoyed to have to work there. If I had to do it all over […] again, I would've picked another hotel because there is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING in the surrounding area (since all the restaurants/cafes close by 3-4pm!).
