Logo ao chegar no hotel, tivemos uma enorme dificuldade de pegar nossa chave. Isso porque chegamos muito tarde e o escritório já estava fechado e sua chave fica numa caixa eltrônica com senha onde o hoteis.com te envia uma senha diferente da do flat, para pegar sua chave. Ou seja se chegar após fechamento do escritório leve telefone ou você tera que sair procurando um telefone público pela cidade. O quarto é bem grande e agradavel, ótimo para poucos dias. O lado ruim é que o staff não limpa seu quarto, não lava sua louça e não limpa seu banheiro ou seja deixe tudo meio que arrumado pois eles só arruamam as camas e trocam as toalhas., mas no geral o staff é super simpatico e solicito. Você esta proximo ao Berlin Zoologischer Garten station onde várias outras linhas de locomoção se interligam.

O atendimento me agradou logo na recepção quando chegamos. A atendente foi extremamente simpática e solícita. Nos ofereceu folders, um mapa da cidade, nos indicou a estão de metrô mais próxima. O quarto, apesar de um pouco pequeno, era muito limpo e bem confortável. A localização também é muito boa. Apenas alguns passos da estação do metrô. Recomendo!

Very nice located hotel. You came easy around where you want. A minus and that was that the beds were very hard. We were 3 people who lived there and all slept very badly because of the beds was not good

A great hotel with great convenience to supermarket and the U-bahn stations. The service is good and nice though the staff is not so clever that they may not have helpful answers to your questions. I found it very good compared to its price, specially with its business room and kitchenette. Very good for families.
"Big rooms but a bit out of the way ..."
Family of six -- parents and four teenage daughters. Rented three double rooms. We were satisfied with our stay at the hotel Berliner Hof. I read the reviews and if anything surprised me it was this -- the rooms were much bigger than I expected but the entrance and hallways were worse. The entrance is kind of inside a narrow passageway to a shopping […] mall; the sliding glass entrance doors only lead to an elevator; and the cramped reception is on the second floor. Still, once checked in, the rooms were big and clean, and of course the price was right, which is why we selected this hotel. But you should be aware that this is not the city center. While the hotel is surrouded by shopping and restaurants, if you want to go to the city center it's a five minute walk to the S-bahn and then another 10-20 minute ride to get downtown. Also, at 12 euro per person per day (a total of 60 euro for our family), we skipped the buffet breakfast. "Good location but hard to find first time"
Over all, it is conveniently located. But surrouding is bit noisy and some road project is going on. Another problem is, the hotel does not have a usual hotel front reciption area. It took us walking several arounds before find it. Suggest to put a note for travellers to locate it.

I had read reviews of the Hotel which said that it could be noisy, our room was facing the main street but at night we didnt hear a thing. The hotel was chosen for its reasonable price and location in Charlotenburg and it did lived up to expectations. The hotel is tucked away in a shopping mall but overlooks one of the main shopping street in Berlin and one of the many Christmas markets. We received a warm welcome from the receptionist upon arrival. The hotel entrance is situated inside a busy shopping centre but you would not know this when you are inside-the rooms are very quiet, warm and clean. Decor was a little dated but for the price of the rooms, this was a minor problem. Some staff we found to be a little patronising, when we […] asked for anything extra for example, extra pillows we were met with an odd look, but we laughed this off! :D One person travelling with us is a coeliac and the receptionist could offer us no information on where supermarkets or suitable restaurants could be, so make sure to research this beforehand if you have any special dietary requirements! ;) Breakfasts were expensive at 12euro p/p, but there are plenty of restaurants, bars and fast food outlets around. There is also a supermarket nearby which supplies anything you could want including a deli and bakery. The hotel is situated between U-Bahn and S-Bahnstations (Kurfurstendamm and Zoolischer Garten), from which you can reach all the tourist areas, airport etc. As we were doing a lot of sightseeing we found it beneficial to get a day ticket (about €6.50) which allowed unlimited travel in a day on all public transport. I would advise getting a ticket as I heard they are very strict if you do not have one! :D Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel as an excellent central base to do all your sightseeing! Avoid if you want luxury but it was great to come back to at night after a day walking in the cold! P.S. Do not make the mistake of hitting the pay channel buttons as one of us did-they had to pay €40.00 extra because he hit the button accidently two days in a row, total time on channels was twelve mins so this was costly! ;) There is a small sign under the T.V. that explains this so make sure to read it-unlike him! "It's not the Ritz, but..."
My wife was skittish about the location tucked in a shopping mall with casino and erotica ads flashing about and the taxi driver, a local, couldn't find it , but when we arrived at the check in things calmed down a bit. The decor is not 4 star, but the price isn't either. A bellman surprised us to pick up our luggage and was cordial and well dressed. We enjoyed our stay, location next to Europa Center, metro 100 meters from hotel, breakfast was not included with the room and required 12 euros per person. Staff were very kind and helpful.many restaurants and cafes all around the hotel. Great room for price.

hotel was located in the center of the busiest shopping street in berlin, rooms were very clean and big. staff were extremely helpful and had very good english. there was even a computer in reception to use for free with free internet. would defiantly recommend to anyone traveling to berlin.

At first I was sceptical because I just didn't expect the hotel to be in a shopping mall and it has a real communist-era feel and look on entry. However, the staff were great, really friendly and helpful. The room was huge, excusing the woodchip wallpaper, it was really comfortable and quiet considering its central location. Well It really isn't very central and it is quite hard to find when walking there. The bed wasn't comfortable and when I called down to get an extra pillow they needed me to wait 20 min and then come down my self to get it. I did and found out they thought a wanted a blanket... and then asked if i could use that as a pillow. Next thing was that they […] didn't have any water in the morning, no shower, no toilet and nothing in the tap. they didn't let the guests know or apologized about it ether. I will not stay at this hotel again, and probably not in this area ether because it is quite far and hard to go popular sites from here unless you just want alexander platz or stadmitte. the shopping was good tho. "Hotel gut gelegen; klimatisches Problem"
Das Hotel ist sehr gut gelegen, direkt im Europa-Center-Gebäude; Ausstattung soweit OK (weshalb der fix montierte Seifenspender [Aufschrift "Soap/Shower Gel"] in drei Metern Luftlinie zur Dusche lag ... ohne dortige Ergänzung durch eine zusätzliche mobile Einseifmöglichkeit ... ist unklar). Unansehnlich ist der Eingangsbereich unten an der Strasse, […] der dringend einer Auffrischung bedarf. Ist aber alles kein Problem, wenn ich nicht die ganze Nacht erbärmlich gefroren hätte. Es war frostig kalt im Zimmer. Die Daunendecke war so dünn, dass auch keine Wärme aufkommen wollte. Aufgrund dieses Negativerlebnisses werde ich den Berliner Hof künftig meiden. Leia mais

Vi var i Berlin tre netter på dette hotellet, og var relativt fornøyde. Sengene var OK, putene litt mindre OK, og husk; det er ingen kiosker typ 7-eleven i Berlin. Rett rundt hjørnet (nesten) lå det en matbutikk 7-24 mandag - lørdag. Ellers veldig fin beliggenhet, kjempegod pris!

Bästa läget med shoppingen precis utanför hotellet. Prisvärt hotell där man kan köpa till frukort om man vill. Fast bättre och billigare frukost finns till vänster 100 m från hotellet på två mysigt fik. Hotellet ligger endast 200 m från KaDeWe och med ca 5 min promenad till busstationen som tar en ut till Tegel samt till tunnelbanan. "Muffig und sehr Laut!!"
Ich fand das Hotel, bezüglich meines Zimmers sehr klein und schlecht eingerichtet. Der Kleiderschrank hat sehr muffig gerochen, genau so wie die Duschvorhänge. Obwohl Check-out Zeit/Time um 12:00am/Uhr war, kam die Putzfrau um 8.45Uhr in meinen Zimmer, nach nur zwei Sekunden anzuklopfen und obwohl ich unter der Dusche stand. Außerdem war mein Zimmer […] sehr laut, mit dem Fenster zu oder auf, jeden Morgen um 7:20 wurde ich von den lauten Geräuschen der Straßenarbreiter aufgeweckt. Betjeningen og service på hotellet er i top. Det er flinke mennesker, der gør alt hvad de kan for at man kan få et godt ophold. Desværre bærer hotellets fysiske tilstand præg af manglende vedligehold. Vi havde værelse ud mod gården, hvor en blæser konstant sendte maddamp op i hovedet på os til den uendeligt triste balkon. Det varme vand i hanen var […] helt rødt. Det kolde vand var beskidt når det kom i en flaske. Morgenmaden kostede 100 kr, og var ikke den pris værd. Konklusion: Flinke menneske, skidt standard.
