O Embassy Suites Portland Downtown é um hotel com quartos super confortáveis porque todos são suites, portanto têm uma sala separada com sofá, poltrona, mesa de trabalho com cadeira ergonômica, além de TV LCD de 42' com videogame (há outra igual no quarto, mas sem videogame). O Embassy Suites é bom para qualquer perfil de viajante, porém o seu custo-benefício é mais evidente para familias pela possibilidade de reservar um quarto com 2 camas-queen, e ainda ter o espaço a mais da sala para circular melhor no ambiente. Outros aspectos importantes são as piscinas internas, sauna e sala de ginástica, para quem precisa malhar. Outra diferença que agrega ao bom custo-benefício é que o preço inclui um café-da-manhã maravilhoso, fartíssimo, em que, por exemplo, a pessoa pede com que ingredientes quer sua omelete, e ela é feita na hora, na frente do hóspede(delícia!). O serviço do hotel é super profissional, o pessoal do front-desk é gentil, e o valet-parking(caro como qualquer hotel em Portland) é de uma eficiência à toda prova. Para terminar, o hotel tem um lobby requintado, agradável e sua localização é muito boa. Por tudo isso, não há como deixar de recomendar o Embassy Suites para quem quer se hospedar em downtown(centro).

O Shilo Inn situa-se perto - mas não demais - do Aeroporto Internacional de Portland(PDX). Possui "shuttle" de cortesia do/para o aeroporto a cada 30 minutos iniciando às 4 horas da manhã até 11 horas da noite. Se o hóspede chega ou sai fora desse horário deve requisitar o serviço, que creio, continua sendo grátis, mas efatizo que não tenho certeza nesse particular. Como Portland possui um sistema de transporte público muito bom, quando se vai para qualquer lugar da cidade é só pegar o "shuttle" (uma van bem moderna) para PDX e então pegar o MAX Light Rail(um metrô de superfície super moderno e limpo com 4 ou 5 vagões no máximo) por 2 dólares que ainda permite a pessoa fazer qualquer tipo de baldeação por 2 horas). O Shilo Inn é muito confortável e limpo, com café da manhã que vai até 11 horas da manhã. Foi oferecido um quarto com duas camas Queen, geladeira, forno de microondas, cafeteira elétrica. O termostato era facilmente regulável, o quarto possuía ferro e tábua de passar, secador de cabelos. Apesar das TVs não serem de LCD/plasma, a suite possuía 3 televisões(uma delas, menor, no banheiro) e 3 telefones(um deles também no banheiro), sem cobrar por ligações locais, tudo muito cômodo. Sofá, mesa com 4 cadeiras, ali uma família de 4 consegue ficar bem instalada, na minha opinião. Serviço de limpeza de quarto diário, toalhas imaculadamente brancas, assim como a roupa de cama. O café da manhã é muito satisfatório, com vários tipos de café, pães, cereais, sucos, muffins e afins. Para um café que inclua coisas que tem de ser preparadas na hora, como panquecas ou ovos mexidos, o restaurante do hotel encontra-se à disposição até as 11 horas, enquanto o café primeiramente descrito é no lobby, muito bem arrumado e até as 10 horas da manhã. Para concluir, apesar de perto do aeroporto, não se ouve qualquer barulho de avião, todas as noites foram silenciosas e bem dormidas. O staff do hotel foi correto e prestativo quando solicitado. Clean rooms, a lot of space, friendly crew, near the 21st and 23 rd Streets, the coolest in Portland. A lot of places for shopping, restaurants, pubs, and the Rose Test Garden and The Japanese Garden.

This is a worn hotel. The adjacent restaurant was shut down and there was nothing within walking distance. The fitness center was grungy. And there were not adequate outlets in the room to accommodate today's technological traveler.

"Convenient"
The hotel in Hillsboro, OR was very convenient for the various things we needed to do in the area. Brookwood Parkway was great to get off thee freeway and will be great to get all the way down to the TV Hwy when it is completed later this month.

The hotel was too close to the airport runways. The first night, a helicopter was taking off at 3am, and heard it again at 6am. The Air conditioner did not work in our room. The fan stopped working in the middle of our 3rd night stay. The staff was helpful and did what they could, but I felt we could have been better compensated.
I didn't feel that the staff followed up on case of where me and my children scared away a person trying to break in through the stained glass windows that surround the hot tub area. Locks need to be installed and security should have taken action!
"July with no AC"
My company put me up here for 13 days, I spent 4 of them without air conditioning, each time I asked for it to be fixed while I was away for the day,and each time I came back to it working, only to have it stop working again shortly after turning it on. What's worse is it happened in 3 seperate rooms, I mean come on the hotel went through a remodel […] (I believe) last year. The response i got "wierd nobody's complained about that before". The rooms are very nice and clean and housekeeping was stellar. Continental bkfst, yuk! Not even edible and not even milk to tide one over. If someone comes or goes you will know, the door slams on each room so loud you jump. One week a sports team stayed in rooms around me, I wore ear phones and still couldn't drown out the running and yelling up and down the halls. Beds are very comfortable and bedding too. Room is nicely decorated. Fridge, microwave, and coffee maker was nice. Wasn't the worst I've stayed in, but faaaar from the best. I probably would have given a 4 star had it not been for the AC, that led to alot of no sleep and cranky mornings. Leia mais
My wife and I stayed two days, she is handicapped and the access was very convenient. The only thing we were hoping the restaurant would have been open right next door, however there were convenient ones near by. I would like to say the beds were exceptionally comfortable and the amount of pillows was super. The only thing we missed was a shower chair […] that would fit in the tub. Leia mais
"Very satisfied"
We took this room after reading some of the reviews and we were very suprised at the size and quality of the rooms. This is the best value for the money we have ever had. There was also a full complimentary breakfast that was fantastic. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Pros - location near Hillsboro airport - the price is right Cons - there are almost no electrical outlets - rooms are tiny and hard to get around in. We had a room with one queen bed
"Unexpectedly nice"
The hotel is next to the airport but once inside I never heard any noise from the planes, and the room was completely quiet all night which was fantastic! The bed was incredibly comfortable and the room had all the amenities needed. The room was a bit smaller than I like but not a deal breaker. I only had breakfast one day and it was ok. "Comfortable and clean"
I enjoyed my brief stay at the Comfort Inn in Hillsboro. There were problems with the toilet -- it didn't seem to want to flush, and it ran on -- but I was able to fix it myself. I would stay there again.
"A nice stay"
I choosed this hotel because of its convinient location in Hillsboro. Even it is located opposite to the Hiollsboro Airport, there is only little noise from the airport. The rooms are OK, maybe a little bit too small. Breakfast was not as good as the several times I stayed there before. It looks like thy need to save some money.
"Good location for business needs"
This place was comfortable, fairly quite, and at a good location for my business needs. I appreciated the smoke free environment.
"Comfortable, but no dinner"
Floors above were very creaky, so it sometimes interfered with sleep. It was inconvenient to go outside to a neighbouring building for breakfast. The breakfast offerings were decent, but it did feel very "temporary". Disappointing that you had to drive (or walk over a mile) to a restaurant.
"Hillsboro Comfort Inn"
This hotel must still be under construction, but it is very quiet and comfortable at night. I enjoyed the internet connection and ease of parking adjacent to my room. I would have liked to see another ice machine on ground floor. The one I found was on the second floor. Several restaurants are available within a short distance.

"In Transition"
This hotel is in transition under the Comfort Inn label. The rooms have been updated recently and are an asset. A continental breakfast is served in the adjacent closed restaurant and is adequate but the hotel needs a remodel to bring the breakfast room into the hotel proper. The restaurant facility is outdated and not adequately maintained.

Waited 3 hours to Check-in. No onsite restrooms for incoming or out going guest, No onsite Resturant or Lounge!
"Comfort Inn - a bit off the main highway"
Overall the hotel was fine. The facility is a bit run down, but they have tried to update it. It is a large facility, so it has to be hard to keep it up. Our room was comfortable, but there was hair in the sink when we arrived. After they cleaned it the next day they did not replace the coffee cups or the towels we used, though they took the dirty ones. […] The pool was nice - a little cold, but the hot tub jets were not working which was very disappointing. All said though, we would return, as it is a much better price than some of the others and it was fine for our needs. Leia mais
