O hotel praticamente não tem nada ao redor, só um 7/11 que quebra bem o galho. Porém é muito rápido se deslocar de lá até qualquer lugar de carro; exceto Nova Iorque - pegue o trem. O quarto é limpo e confortável e os funcionários são educados. O café da manhã é simples, mas resolve. Pelo valor, vale a pena com certeza.

"A Jewel Box!"
Gild Hall is a terrific find! On the weekends the surrounding Wall Street area is quiet - but not deserted - and there are plenty of subway options for getting anywhere you want to go in Manhattan or Brooklyn! I lived in New York City for 7 years before reloacting upstate - and I still am in the city a day a week for business - I stay at Gild Hall whenever […] I can. The beds are very comfortable and the bathrooms are always sparkling clean with terrific showers (always warm and great water pressure!). "Gild Hall in NY"
This is a great little find, tucked away in the Financial District. Prices were cheap...just make sure you confirm the room you want...since they tried to scam us to upgrade to get the king bed I had booked ahead of time.

My new Bride & I rode the A Train to Fulton St from JFK airport at the end of our Caribbean wedding trip. We walked to the hotel from the subway at 2am, empty streets except for the Three large rats that crossed the walkway in front of us.......We enter the lobby and are greeted by a happy desk attendant...and off to our good looking King room with […] the "Great bathroom" according to my Wife.........Breakfast the next morning at Libertine was super ! the Best french toast & the Best ommelettes coupled with the woody warmth of the entire hotel lobby and restaurant.......A fine ending to our trip. "Nice room, cool hotel"
The room was nice. The bed was super confortable with down pillow top and down comforter. Did not want to leave the bed the next day. The only thing strange was the fact that the bathroom door was beveled glass and you can kinda see what the person was doing in there. What were they thinking?
"Expected more"
For the price of the hotel, wi-fi should certainly be included and wasn't. Also, the hotel provided shampoo and conditioner, but not lotion. Lastly, the prices at the bar were exhorbitant. For positives, the room was decently sized and very nice on the inside.

great hotel and great price for manhatten, there's a great deli about a block away. the only complaint i would have are the see through doors to the bathroom. If your not comfortable seeing the person you are with use the bathroom maybe its not right for you. other then htat its a great hotel.
"Gild Hall Hotel close to subway"
My son [aged nearly 18] and I needed a hotel that was in Manhattan, but was close enough to Brooklyn to make it easy to visit friends there. Gild Hall was perfectly situated for us. Fulton street subway [about a 3-4 minute walk away] is a hub for 6 different subway lines into the various areas of New York. Our room was very comfortable, particularly […] the beds. I agree with other comments about the glass in the bathroom doors. We managed to give each other some privacy by hooking one of the towelling bathrobes across the inside of the door and then closing the door wedging a corner of the bathrobe in it. The restaurant is basic, but cooks very good hamburgers and grilled fish as well as other dishes. We had breakfast out as recommended by previous guests, except for the morning after the snowstorm on the 26th December. As there was over 2 feet of snow outside, the hotel very generously gave all the residents a free continental breakfast. The hotel staff were very polite and helpful, printing directions and maps to places we wanted to get to and answering all our questions. The area around the hotel is quiet especially during the weekends, however for us this was an advantage as it was a restful place to come back to at night. My 2 negative issues with the hotel are firstly the lack of free WiFi, although there is a business centre with PCs that guests can use at a cost of $10 for 24 hours. Secondarily, there is no means of getting coffee or tea if the restaurant is closed, for example on Sundays. I do think that it should be possible for a hotel of this standard to have a coffee machine for the guests to use out of restaurant hours. I would certainly stay at the Gild Hall hotel again. "Gild Hall-a pleasant surprise"
I was pleasantly surprised by the size of our room. It was very roomy for NYC standards. The location near Wall Street is not my preference but with the subway being so close I would definitely stay here again rather than somewhere further north for the larger room.

"Gild Hall Thompson Hotel"
Staff was super nice, decent location, I did not experience the rest or bar. The bar however looked great and cozy especially right now in the winter time. I am a light sleeper and the hotel is nice and quiet. I would definately stay there again...subway is just a few blocks away.Free wifi too!!!

"Financial District Winner -- Prettty Much"
A pleasant hotel in the heart of the financial district. Once I was able to get the room that I actually wanted -- given a smoking room at check in instead if the non-smoking one requested -- the stay was quite pleasant. Not a very pretty location, but as I needed to be in the area for business it was fine. The restaurant needs some work. "Great if you need to be Downtown"
I found everything with Gild Hall to be very nice. The room was large, the bathroom was fine. There was no WiFi, strangely. If you need to be downtown, this is a great alternative. Otherwise, you'll spend a fortune on cabs.

It was our first time staying at the Gild Hall Hotel and chose to be at a smaller boutique hotel in a quieter area of Manhattan. I was dropping my daughter off to college and also looking for an apartment for her and wanted a place to relax and vegetate. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful - in particular, a young woman, named Maria, who was […] genuinely considerate and kind and went above and beyond our expectations of service. A coffee shop was 10 steps away from the hotel, along with a 24 hour market. The subway station was also within a couple of blocks of the hotel and convenient. The price was reasonable - another factor in our decision to check out this hotel. We never ate at the hotel, so I wouldn't be able to comment on the food. "Style, Comfort and Value"
Guild Hall is nicely tucked away nicely in the Financial District in Manhattan. Stylish as all Thompson Properties with a jumping bar on certain nights and very detailed aesthetics. The rooms are very well sized for a Manhattan hotel and the bathrooms are clean and far less cramped than most. The only negative for me during my stay was the elevator. […] PAINFULLY slow. There was one point where I waited 16 minutes for an elevator to come to the 7th floor. This is absurd and they MUST do something about that. But otherwise it was a pleasant and peaceful stay and may become a regular recommendation when I am hosting guests in NYC. Leia mais

What a surprise...only opted for this hotel because I was familiar with the Sax in Chicago (same owners) Room was actually a full suite with living room, kitchenette, brand new bathroom....great bed. Only drawback is location in Financial District, unless your business travels find you there. $25 cab to Midtown. "Convenient work location"
This hotel is a 5 minute walk to my New York office downtown. It was also a lot cheaper than the typical Soho, Tribeca hotels that I usually stay at when I come in for work. I would stay here again.
"New York: nice, clean and trendy!"
We spent the 4th of july weekend in new york and to stay in the finance district during that weekend was the best decision. The gild hall is a modern hotel with nice design details und really great rooms. It is based right next to wall street, a short walk away from battery park and two minutes to ground zero. The only things what could be better are […] the window sealing, because the ac's from the other buildings are a bit to loud and you will hear it in some rooms. We asked changing the room because of the noise and there was no discussion about this and the staff moved our luggage during the day when we were out for sightseeing. Second thing is, there are some failings made during the hotel construction. Just details in the bathroom, not so bad but also not so nice. maybe not like "german standard"! so there is nothing else to criticize. "Gild Hall in NYC -good downtime NYC location"
The hotel can be a bit tough to find since its technically not on Gold Street, but the service at the front desk was excellent. And my room was just what I was looking for as a solo traveler. Small negatives were the lack of vending machines and the shower was a bit difficult to figure out and get to the right temperature. "Poor Customer Service"
I had several problems with customer service while staying at this hotel with my mother and sister. First, when we arrived, there was no valet service available for our car (we asked the front desk twice, waited around for 15 minutes, and eventually just parked the car around the corner ourselves) and no bellman available to help us with our luggage. […] The front desk simply watched as we struggled to load our bags onto a dolly ourselves. The next day, a fuse blew while my sister and I dried our hair (admittedly using two dryers). Despite calling THREE times over the next 30 minutes, no one came to fix this. We had also called down for an iron during this time period, because the room did not have an iron and ironing board in it (what modern hotel doesn't have that?). When someone finally showed up with the iron (which also took about 15 minutes), we asked him about the fuse, and he walked to the end of the hallway outside our room, opened a locked closet, and flipped the fuse. It is incomprehensible why it would take 30 minutes to do that. The only thing positive I can say for the hotel is that it was clean. The room itself was pretty small (even by NYC standards) and you can basically see through the bathroom door (don't stay here with someone you aren't comfortable with!). "Gild Hall"
I was happy with everything except for the bed linens and towels. The linens were rough and the towels were rather skimpy and seemed old.
"Gild Hall, NYC - Disappointing Experience"
Finding the hotel - It was very difficult to actually find the hotel entrance – my wife and I drove around the surrounding streets for about 10 minutes before we were forced to call the hotel and ask where the entrance was. That part of lower Manhattan is particularly difficult to navigate because the streets are very narrow and are not laid out in […] a manner that makes any sense. The real problem was that the hotel entrance was NOT at the address that was listed on the confirmation page that I printed out. Lobby - Once in the hotel, the lobby had a small, boutique feel to it. The lounge was visible from the check in area, which was cool. They upgraded us to King Suite, which seemed really nice. The Room - Absolutely enormous room with a kitchen area, sitting room, huge bathroom, and a nice sized bedroom. The room had wo flat screen TVs. The HUGE problem was that the weather was about 90 degrees and humid outside, which was bad because one of the room’s air conditioner did not work properly during our stay. Our room actually had two A/C units - one in the bedroom, which I would say worked averagely – it kept the bedroom decently cool during the course of the night, but I did find myself getting warm during the night. The A/C unit in the sitting room, which should have cooled the sitting room, kitchen area and bathroom did not work properly (or, rather, at all). We called the front desk and they sent up an "engineer" right away. He determined that the A/C unit had tripped the circuit breaker - which he admitted was not a good thing. He told us to call again if the A/C unit stopped working. My wife and I went out to dinner and did not return until late that night. By the time we returned to the hotel room, the A/C unit was not working in the sitting area. At this point we figured that since the A/C unit in the bedroom was working, we would be fine. "Gild Hall - Solid choice for NYC-savvy travelers"
We arrived at Gild Hall on a rainy evening. No door man was there to assist us with our bags, and my wife tried to enter the revolving door with her umbrella still open (oops!) After she extracated herself (much to the amusement of some other guests in the lobby), we finally noticed they had a regular door we could have used instead. Check-in was reasonably […] quick, and although we weren't asked about any room preferences (as to location, view, or proximity to things like vending machines or workout rooms, etc), we felt our room met our needs. Thankfully we were on the floor above the ice-machine and not across the hall from it (there are only 2 ice-machines in the entire hotel). Speaking of ice, the ice bucket is a joke -- you can't even get a can of soda to fit in it. We wanted to chill a bottle of wine one night, so we resorted to filling a grocery bag with ice, filling our sink with cold water, and dumping in the ice to create an ice bath for the wine. Worked like a charm, and we each had a nicely chilled glass of wine within 30 minutes. The room was clean and orderly during our 4-night stay, although I did notice a small stain on the duvet, and at least twice there was a stain of some sort on one of the pillowcases, so that was a bit disappointing for a 4-star hotel. Another bummer was that the a/c made a "click" sound each time it kicked on during the night, and it was loud enough to wake me out of a sound sleep. My wife did not wake up, but I'm a lighter sleeper than she is and I was repeatedly woken up by the "click" sound during the night. There is no flat sheet on the bed -- only a fitted sheet and a duvet. So it's a little unsettling to sleep directly beneath a duvet that goodness knows how many other guests have slept beneath, and I can only hope the maids changed the duvet cover on a daily basis. Gild hall is a nice boutique hotel. Well decorated. The bathroom feels new and has that boutique hotel feel. However, the room was a bit smaller than i expected. Its in the Financial District so it is far south and its off the main streets so it is hard to grab a cab. Staff is very friendly. The lobby is inviting and comfortable. Has a nice bar. Only […] complaint is that i called down to the front desk to ask for more lotion and an iron/ironing board and was on hold twice for over 20mins. "Great place to stay"
Everything was very nice. Very comfortable, very clean. The bathrooms were very nice fesh linens and everthing was great. Perfect location for the Seaport it is a little bit of a walk but well worth it.

Convenient to numerous subway lines, and readily accessible by cab if you're returning late at night. Hotel staff were among the friendliest I've ever experienced, and truly gave a personal touch I don't think I'd have experienced at most big chain hotels. Bed was comfy, bath was clean.
