I have been staying at this motel frequently for the last 8 months. Recently remodeling has begun and the changes are very nice. New furniture, floring and fixtures have made a big difference. I would not be hesitant to recommend this hotel. While it is not a 3, 4, or 5 star hotel, its value and comfort are now more than acceptable

The hotel was under construction and we were told we would be put on the opposite side of the hotel. We were actually put right above it. The hotel needed the renovation. The room felt small, smelled moldy and damp. The window wall a/c unit was so loud and gave a loud clang about every 10 minutes. Just as soon as you forgot about it.

I really enjoyed my stay and I would consider staying in the near future, if needed to do so.

Overall my stay was great the rooms were clean and not too bad until I was woken up by the sound of scraping and hammering...apparently the hotel was doing some remodeling. The front desk attendant failed to tell me this when I was checking in, and now that I think about it, she didn't tell the people who were ahead of me that they were remodeling. […] I was so livid..might be a good idea for everyone to be on the same page and to let people know this ahead of time so they aren't ripped out of their sleep wondering what's going on. AS REFERENCED ABOVE, THE ROOM WAS VERY CLEAN ,INCLUDING LINENS AND TOWELS. WHEN WE ASKED FOR EXTRA TOWELS, WE WERE ACCOMODATED IMMEDIATELY AND GRCIOUSLY. MAID SERVICE WAS TIMELY AND THOROUGH. WE FELT COMFORTABLE IN THE ROOMS ALTHOUGH WE WOULD HAVE PREFERRED COFFEE MAKERS IN THE ROOM RATHER THAN HAVING TO GO DOWNSTAIRS. WE FELT THE SURROUNDING AREA WAS […] NOT THE BEST AND EACH NIGHT WE OBSERVED GROUPS OF YOUNG MEN HANGING AROUND THE PARKING LOT AS WE RETURNED FROM DINNER.......FELT A LITTLE UNCOMFORTABLE. I reserved a non smoking room and had to move 3 times to find a room that didnt smell of cigarette smoke. Even that room smelled and if I hadnt prepaid for room in advance thru hotel.com, I would have gone somewhere else.

Close to fast food restaurant, supermarkets, room is clean, AC is a bit noisy though.

At first my reservation was not reflected on the Red Roof list but one quick phone call to Hotels.com and they were able to resolve my problem quickly and efficiently. The staff was also very helpful with respect to my needs.

Main reason we looked into this was b/c it said there was an airport shuttle available upon request. Once we got there, they informed us they had no such thing. It was supposed to be non-smoking yet my children's room definitely smelled of smoke. It seems they advertixed free breakfast too, and there was none. No coffee in the room at all.

I was surprised! It was pretty good.

The room was clean but when we went into the bathroom there were bugs on the floor. We nervous about putting our things down

After we check in to our room. I am very disappointed. 1) The room is very small, specially the bathroom. 2) No hair dryer 3) The bed sheet not clean at all 4) The room smell like someone P on the floor.

If you're looking for a good value, this would be the place. It was the best value I could find in the D.C. area, though the location is not ideal. It is about 30 minutes from D.C. by car. But the room was nice and up to standards.

The desk clerk was pleasant and the location was convenient, but our "non-smoking" rooms seeped cigarettes from the walls, carpet, and ventillation system. We all woke up with scratchy throats and eyes. As we were packing up to leave, we noticed that one man on the cleaning staff was walking in and out of the rooms with a lit cigarette. Great Value for the price. I'd stay there again.

I would stay there again ven if it was for free. The room smells of old dirty carpet. Bed was uncomfortable and cheap. The water smell like Clorox both in the shower and the vanity. The vent in the bathroom makes such loud noise and you cant turn it off because it's one switch for the light and the vent. The Hotel is a decent place to lay your head for a few nights as it's inexpensive and when on a budget that's the place to go

I would recommend this Hotel to everyone. Convenient location and very clean....Thumbs UP....

I just wish i knew in advance that it was going to be 30 miles to the hotel. On the phone, the lady asked me if it was OK that the hotel was 11 miles outside the city and I said OK. But 30miles is a lot more than 11. However, i still love the great price. It is still cheaper to drive there then to say in DC even if gas is $3.50/gal.

It is always difficult to find a reasonably-priced, pet-friendly hotel. But Red Roof Inn in Manassas is both of these things. They didn't charge me anything extra for my pet, nor act like I was an inconvenience for having one. I had also seen other visitors with their pets, yet I didn't hear a peep from any of them. My husband and I were very pleasantly […] surprised when we got to the room; it was very clean and had more amenities than we had planned on. And the wi-fi was actually wi-fi! (I have stayed at other hotels in other areas that had slooooww what they called wi-fi and what I call dial-up.) We were very pleased, overall. Only two issues: the king size bed was pretty thin so I didn't sleep as well as usual (but what can you expect? It's a hotel). Also, there were no extra cots for my stepdaughter to sleep on when she stayed with us for a night. I enjoyed my stay at Red Roof Inn in Manassas and will be using the services of this hotel and its staff again. The staff was very accomodating and the service was surperb. Thanks...

This hotel, is well located, nicely kept up. Red Roof has an upgraded room worth the couple extra dollars.

As a dog owner, I get concerned about the ability to travel with safe, clean lodging options. This location was super convenient to the business strip, yet visually out of the way, with a tree view and an adjacent field for exercise by responsible pet owners. Red Roof Manassus was clean and the hotel staff were friendly (though we didn't have to see them for anything other than checking in and checking out). It is a pet-friendly hotel (no fees) and is semi-close to Washington, DC (not far in miles, but long in time...).

For a 2 star hotel this stay was OK. I did not see anything unexpectedly bad or good. I requested a non-smoking room but when I entered the room there was some smell of cigarette smoke. After running the A/C for about 20-30 minutes I did not smell it anymore. Beds were clean. It's close to highway but not too close to hear a lot of noise.

while the rooms had a small no smoking sign, they reeked of smoke smell and made it very difficult to sleep.

Room was clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Dozens of restaurants of all types were nearby. Great value for the money. Would stay again. Bathroom fan was very loud.

The hotel was very convienent to get to, right off of route 66 in Manassas. There were a number of restaraunts and gas stations nearby. The parking lot was quiet. The front desk was very nice and personable! Our room was squeaky clean and spacious. The shower was THE BEST shower I have had at any hotel room. The water stayed hot and the water pressure […] was great. The only thing that would have made my stay perfect would have been a few conviences like boxes of tissues,a coffeemaker,hairdryer and more comfortable pillows.
