Fitzpatrick Grand Central Hotel - Nova York

This hotel lives up to its name, it is grand and central. Very reasonably priced and very comfortable. The staff was professional and I could not have asked for more.

This hotel is two steps from Grand Central. It's somewhat of a boutique small hotel. Neighborhood is good and close to subway, restaurants and other great NYC sites. Staff is friendly, room was just what I expected, location is great, value is exceptional. The only minor downside is the tavern that uses the interior courtyard was a bit noisy. Not bad, but you couldn't call it quiet either.

I definitely recommend staying at this hotel. Good location, very comfortable, clean, quality room.

This hotel is a great find in a very convenient location. It is away from the congestion of the theater district and Times Square but only a short walk or ride from it! Rooms are well-appointed and staff were concerned with comfort and detail. Breakfast the next morning was something of a disaster with poor and inaccurate service. That was certainly a detractor, but will not keep up from staying at this property again. "Things happen," and I'll certainly give the benefit of the doubt for this single "faux pas." I go to NY a lot and had never stayed at the Fitzpatrick. The location, service, room and price were all above expectations. I understand rates can vary a lot based on demand, but this is one I will keep on my short list of favorites. The outdoor patio bar is very nice.

Our only complaint is that the room air conditioning is loud.

This hotel was outstanding. Across the road from Grand Central station, and good walking distance to many sights. Good condition, clean and it has friendly staff. The room was exceptional.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Fitzpatrick Grand Central. It is a very clean hotel, most clean and modern bathroom, very quiet, and good breakfast.

You will love staying in this hotel with a true European feel to it. Very friendly and welcoming.

A wonderful hotel, very clean and close to grand central. Great bar area with outdoor dining, unfortunately even after waiting a while couldn't get a seat for lunch. Would definitely stay there again

Hotel is fine. Air conditioner is very noisy. Otherwise everything else was fine. Nice bed and linens, good bathroom. Windows that open is a nice feature.

The Fitzpatrick Grand Central Hotel was such a wonderful hotel experience! The manager (Nick) went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. Grand Central station is across the street, so regardless what you want to see in NYC, you're a quick subway stop away. Looking forward to our next visit.

My first time at the Fitzpatrick, four night stay for business. The room was clean and comfortable, small in the way of most NYC rooms in this price range. Bathroom clean and up-to-date. The pub on the ground floor was convenient on those nights I didn't care to wander mid-town. Staff friendly and helpful. I loved this hotel. So far, the best I've stayed in NYC. The front desk staff was very nice and professional, the hotel was lovely and clean. And the room! WOW! Good size and very pretty. We stayed in a Deluxe Queen that was recently remodeled. The bed was so comfortable that after a day of walking around NYC it was such a relief to rest on that pillow […] top bed. The bathroom was a good size and completely new. I loved the Olive Oil Soaps so much I kept a wrapper to see if I can order them. The pub was a nice touch of the ol' sod. As a matter of fact when we sat on the sofa - it was under the Ireland drawing and right under Enniskillen where my family is from and where I love to visit. Hows that for fate? I didn't know anything about this hotel and was pleasantly surprised. Large room (for NYC) and large bathroom, both in great condition. Staff was pleasant. Overall a great experience.

An excellent choice if proximity to connections through Grand Central Station is important. Reasonably priced, by New York standards, meticulously clean, in good repair, friendly and helpful staff. Small pub-style restaurant is certainly adequate if convenience is a consideration, but many restaurants are nearby.

A very cozy, convenient little hotel. The people behind the desk were helpful and kind, and at least one spoke with a charming Irish accent. The Irish pub right next door was equally charming, and convenient when we had a stormy evening and did not want to venture too far. Very nice small botique hotel. Great location. Charming and clean. My room (817) was freshly renovated.

I had a comfortable stay at the hotel but was alittle disappointed that when I arrived they couldn't find a room for me. Then when I was given a room it was a very small room when I reserved a king size room for 2 people. Felt like I didn't get what I paid for

The place was spotless and the service top notch and friendly. I recommend it to anyone!

The Fitzpatrick is clean and centrally-located and the staff are friendly. The rooms aren't huge (like most rooms in NYC) but it also wasn't a postage stamp. The only negative was a wonky elevator that stopped once on the third floor and opened but wouldn't start going again. It's very near Grand Central Station which connects you to the rest of the […] city and beyond via the Subway and trains. The hotel is in a great, central location - very close to the airport shuttle bus, subway and many NYC attractions. The rooms are very comfortable, clean and 'homely'. The bed is so comfortable that I would not hesitate to stay there again HOWEVER the first room I was given was so tiny and dark (window on an internal well, no view of the outside at all) that I called the desk and asked to be changed. They were very nice about it and gave me a room fitted for handicap access (not my need) with a huge tiled walk in […] shower and a view down to the street so that I can see if pedestrians are carrying umbrellas. This is a great place to stay if you're Irish. Place was OK, the bathroom/shower was almost bigger than the room itself. Desk was tiny, virtually impossible to work at, the radio very dated and a couple of the controls did not work. Staff though was great, very nice and went out of their way to be helpful, thus the overall 4 Star score.

We stayed here for two nights and had a fabulous stay. Very helpful front desk and concierge. The hotel is very clean, up to date, and a great value. Only downside would be the curtains that do not close to block out the city light. The bathrooms are updated and very nice for a smaller hotel. The small pub is quaint and well decorated. The Fitzpatrick is the perfect oasis in a desert of over-priced, over-rated "boutique" hotels in NYC. The staff are conscientious and attentive. The restaurant serves a varied menu with an Irish flare; great food at reasonable prices. We recently stayed the night at the Fitzpatrick Grand Central. The service was amazing...the room was very clean, beautiful, the bathroom was great and the bed was more comfortable then mine at home. It was a great location....close to everything. I would definitely stay here again!!!

The room looked like it was recently renovated. VERY CLEAN. Cannot beat the price! Would absolutely stay here again!

The Fitzpatrick was everything we expected and more. The location was perfect and right next the Grand Central Station. There were plenty of little resturants and bars, all within the block. The room was the perfect size with everything we needed provided. The staff was very attentive. My wife and I stayed there for Valentine's Day and I could not have made a better selection. I noticed that many of the guest were return customers, so that says something in itself. I will go back! Lovely hotel near Grand Central Station and walking distance to 5th Ave shopping. Clean, comfortable and large rooms (for New York). Highly recommend this hotel.

We had a great stay. The hotel is so convenient to Grand Central as well as an easy walk to Times Square. The pub downstairs was fantastic as well. We will definitely stay again.

This is the best hotel I've stayed at in NY. The most comfortable bed I have EVER slept in! I totally recommend this hotel -- super location, clean and comfortable -- and the price was right!
