Omni Jacksonville Hotel - Jacksonville

The Hotel was beautiful. The service was great and the staff were very pleasant and professional. A great place to stay.

From first walking in the door, every employee greeted me! It took me a while to get used to this friendliness - must be that southern hospitality! My husband and I are musicians and had to be at a performance across the street at The Times Union Center and we needed a convenient location for grandma to watch our 2-year old. This couldn't have been […] more convenient! There are lots of restaurants just across the street along the beautiful river. We parked in the lot next door and were only steps from the hotel and could even see our car from our room on the 11th floor. Besides being convenient, this was one of our best hotel experiences - ever! Not only was everyone friendly and welcoming, but a hotel lady showed up later in the evening with a plate of warm chocolate chip cookies and bottled water. She knew we had a young child and thought it would make the evening nice. Where do you find that treatment these days? The facilities were very nice and well maintained. The only minimal thing I could complain about is that our toilet didn't always shut off after flushing - we just had to remember to shake the handle when needed. Not a big deal! Another nice touch were decanters of ice cold water with lemons and limes in the lobby! Very nice! I highly recommend this hotel! Leia mais

I would expect more luxury in a Hotel with the Omni name. I did not see it as a cut above other hotels.

Hotel was very nice but no micro or fridge in room. Were offered a key to the wet bar but we do not drink so never go the key. Not sure if there was room for my leftovers. I don't have a complaint about electronics, but my husband would have liked a flat screen tv. Overall everything was very nice. Lemon/lime water in lobby was great.

The Omni is a very nice hotel. The check-in process was quick and front desk clerk courteous. Rooms are large and comfortable with a good view of downtown. The rooms are quiet with no outdoor noise and almost no hallway noise. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The only thing keeping it from the firth star is parking. As with almost any of the hotels […] on the East side of downtown Jacksonville, parking is expensive and not close. The nearby parking garage was $12 per day and valet service was $18 per day. They strive for plush accommodations and nearly reach it with four of five stars (five being the highest). Overall I would have no second thoughts or reservations about staying again when I return. Very Clean and neat. Restaurant actually had a great buffet with great service. Convenient to Restaurants, shopping, and other attractions. The Hotel was ALOT nicer than I expected. Staff was friendly and helpful! Would stay at the Omni again.

This is s great choice for a stay in Jacksonville. The location offers good access to downtown (which seems over built and under populated) and the San Marco area across the river. The staff is helpful and friendly. The hotel is very nice with attractive rooms and common areas.

I forgot some clothing when I left. I called a couple days later. They located the items and arranged to FedEx them to me. I was very happy with the staff's readiness to provide good customer service.

This hotel was not a cheap deal, but we were very satisfied with both our room and the staff. Never having visited Jacksonville before we were not sure what to expect, and we were disappointed that the Jacksonville Landing was really just another mall. This would be fine for a business meeting or a convention. If I was vacationing in this area again, […] I would travel a few miles down the coast to St Augustine, which is more of a tourist area. The Omni Jacksonville was by far the finest hotel at which we have ever stayed. The service, all aspects, was beyond our expectations, the room was beautifully furnished and even the food, both room service and Juliette's cafe in the hotel lobby, was above and beyond what we expected. Be prepared to pay extra for parking.

We enjoyed being walking distance to shops and restaurants overlooking the river. We had terribly noisy neighbors in our room, though, and had to get the front desk to quiet things down in the middle of the night. Pay or valet parking is also quite expensive.

Hotel was located in the center of everything. all resturants and night life was up and down the strip. All within walking distance. Hotel staff was great and the room was bueatiful. Highly recomend

The hotel staff extended their services to make sure I feel comfortable during my five nights, and for my return to the Omni hotel for two more nights after visiting in St. Augustine.

Great location. Flat sheet used as a bottom sheet on the bed was very small and continuously slid off. Need to invest in fitted sheets-this was quite annoying.

Stayed here twice. Convenient to downtown, Avondale and Riverside. Highly recommend.

I live in Jacksonville and took a night to myself. It was like being in a far wawy place as it was classy and elegant and yet friendly.

I took my 79 year old Aunt to have a night out. We stayed on the 4th floor where the pool was located and it was noisy all night. Also we called about not being able to watch a movie. We were told they would send someone and they never came. Front Desk staff was very very unfriendly.

We were greeted warmly and they even included our points toward the member club. We received an upgrade and the usual platinum service we always receive at the Omni.

We have stayed at the Omni many times in the past and chose it again recently because of its location to a venue. However, unlike previous times in the past our experience was less than satisfying. The water didn't drain properly in our hotel room, for some odd reason we only had one washcloth in the bathroom, and they stopped issuing phone books in […] the hotels rooms. We looked all over and couldn't find one and later found out from hotel staff that they no longer put phone books in the rooms because they are "going green". It seems a little silly not to have a no charge resource in the rooms for your out of town guests. Luckily we know the area pretty well and can get around but for those who are unfamiliar with the area it can be frustrating and confusing. Leia mais

Very nice hotel, expected a little more for the price we paid, but all in all it was good. The men at doing the valet parking were very nice and courteous, and the front desk were very friendly and helpful. Would definatly recommend.
